Think the Villa one is a bad call Gerrard is a one off mistake they made the right choice when they brought in Dean Smith and made the right decision to move on from him when he had taken them as far as he could. It was Purslow (no longer at the club) who out of a bit of ego made the call for Gerrard yes the owners went with his decision but as soon as they saw it was going wrong he was out the door and they chose Emery. If you ignore the Gerrard season Villa have slowly progressed every year it’s not like they just suddenly became good and this is just a flash in the pan.
Villa will return to type when Emery is sacked next season.

Tbh i think klopp is leaving because of the lavia/caicado deals. No money to rebuild a team but suddenly pull 100m+ while half heartedly squabbling over 5/10m for lavia deal. Big players are starting to fall off or will be in the next 2 seasons and i dont think he'll be getting the backing to rebuild a team of similar quality

Klopp is the best thing about Liverpool. The disrespect after what 3 or 4 bad games is a f*cking joke. Joint top of the league, won a trophy with kids. And if it wasn't for VAR would still be top of the league outright. And that's without mentioning all the injuries.
Say whatever you want about Tonali but Newcastle's signings have been great, on the whole. Bruno, Isak, Gordon, Botman, Trippier, Pope, Burn, and Livramento have all worked out beautifully. Barnes will join that group next season., Hall will at some point as well. The only real mistakes have been Tonali, but i think long term he will join the first group, Wood, and Target. Wood and Target are on the only ones that I think will be remembered as mistakes.

For Newcastle I’d say it’s “we don’t have money left to spend and may have to sell top players” I reckon we have quite a bit in reserve and could e spent in Jan but decided to wait for overhaul
I do think you probably can’t spend loads but you probably don’t need to sell any players either think it was a bit of a ploy to stop teams from overcharging you for players because they know how wealthy you are.
