I usually do tummy time in my babies bassinet because it’s firm and I use the black and white books. She loves the black and white books. She even tries to turn the pages.
I don’t think it is a good idea to have longer wakes times before 3/4 month and stimulating them. They will get over tired and fussy and won’t sleep better at night.
it really depends on if you know your babies wake windows or what they should be and the MAX they can stay awake. If you actually look into things then ur baby won’t be overtired!
My baby was born at 37 weeks and just turned 1 month. All he does is sleep and breastfeed and pee or poop. He caught Covid and rhinovirus at 2-3 weeks old and was hospitalized for a week. So he’s still not feeling well. Makes me feel like he’s behind.. he’s not interested in his play-mat at all or black and white flashcards. My firstborn was way ahead by now..

Very true. My one month old gets super fussy if he’s awake for too long during the day

Shaken babies is more of a neck thing. As long as the neck is supported the baby should be fine.
