My new born is 5 days old and she could lift her head out of the womb. She also recognized my wife and I’s voices right away which was amazing. She calms down as soon as she hears one of us speak. She also loves black and white pictures and stripes. She is meeting her milestones so fast compared to our first child. We are so amazed.
Same. My daughter did all of this before the end of the first week. Her cord stump fell off at the end of day 5. Perfectly healed, no need to clean with alcohol at all.
As a first time Dad I appreciate seeing videos like these to help give reassurance! Easily the hardest thing I’ve ever done, but my girlfriend and I work well as a team and share the load with Ava as much as we can!
Im the father of a 12yr old son whom I love very very much, and with him having non-verbal Autism, I desperately, hopefully and praying to see normal signs of development with my second 5 week old son. Also..i love how you give us examples by showing us your own child!
Weirdly this time around I feel alot better mentally and emotionally having a 15 month old and a newborn this first month flew by so fast and it’s so beautiful seeing both my children grow together ❤
Thank you. Wonderful. I wish I had your videos when I had my children 35 years ago!! It is very helpful and reassuring to be able to have someone telling you these things when 1st time mum.
My baby is now 6 weeks old he is doing all of what you mentioned and also rolled over on his back before he was a month old during tummy time. He keep doing this whenever he is on his tummy
Thank you for that my son was born 7/13/2024 and he seems to be far ahead with milestones so thank you 🥰. I'm tired but I love being a first time parent at 30!
Our baby is 1 month and 3 days now! Thanks for this video. I can see all the milestones you mentioned. As for me and how I am doing, I’m struggling with eating enough. I focus so much on baby girl that I forget to eat and take care of myself. Working on that though.
Hey Mama , I feel you . Please remember to take care of yourself . If you have an instant pot or something to make your oatmeal in advance so you only microwave and add frozen berries ! Great to give you energy without doing much. You got this ! I’m have a 3 weeks old baby and breastfeeding. It’s crucial to remember about myself . Healthy mom healthy baby ❤
It's so hard early on. I hope you're able to find a balance and take care of yourself, too! A happy, healthy mom is the BEST thing you can give your little lady!
Thank youuu for this video, it was really helpful. I am a new mom of a 5 weeks baby boy and it's really nice to see that he is doing exactly what he is supposed to be doing at his age. God bless.
I really enjoyed this video! My baby is 1 month old and 4 days now. I see he’s hit all the milestones that you mentioned and that makes me feel so happy. ❤️❤️❤️ thank you for the wonderful information
Hi ,thank you for this great video, my baby boy is 15 days old and does all those movements you mention , arm and leg movement turning head ,tied fist , eye contact ,startle when hearing my wife and my voices , so thank you god🙏
Wow ..I just turned a dad..n your video helped me so much n made me so happy coz my baby boy checked all the boxes you talked about ..thanks and loved the quality of editing and the clips are a treat to watch
Nice video! What is the best time of the day to practise tummy time and looking at those cards? Before diaper change, after? Before feeding or after? Our boy sleeps for 3 to 4 hours, then we change his diaper and feed him. He then falls asleep after some cuddling time. I have no idea when we should do tummy time and visual excercises.
Thank you for sharing Ginny, Mina is super adorable! I like how you show short clips of her movement so we know exactly what you mean and to watch for.
Thank you for this quick and informative video. We have newborn twins (boy+ girl) who are exactly 1 Mo old today. It’s reassuring that they are developing normally and we are really lucky. The whole process is completely overwhelming and they find a way to challenge and delight us every day. Looking forward to the rest of the series with little Mina!
I'm in a similar boat. My little one is 4weeks and 1day today, and I was actually worried about the quivering she does with her little arms and legs, so watching this has really set my mind at ease, just knowing it's part of her development. I feel really bad for always thinking that being a stay at home parent was a breeze in the past. I'm so sorry for ever thinking that, because it's exhausting both physically and mentally 😅
Hi 👋 thanks for the video. My baby is 5 weeks today and he has been cranky, crying and clingy for the past week and a half. He is better at night however during the day he is cranky
Awesome video, it really helps to have a reference that I can compare my baby’s development to. Everything seems to be very similar, except maybe for a bit too much of jerking and flexing, my baby feels tens a lot and can hold his head up when on tummy for a couple of seconds. It’s not like he never relaxes, but I think I’m gonna check that
Thank you for sharing this video. My newborn is 17 days old, and recently she's exhibiting signs of vomiting after feeding, sometimes high-pitched coughing as well right after latching. I'm doing full breastfeeding and wondering if it's because of a faster milk flow that's causing her to exhibit these signs recently. But the vomiting / spit out is somehow quite worrying at times, I tried to burp her as well but it takes really long and sometimes she doesn't burp. Any thoughts on this? Weight gain is alright though.
Hey! New mom here! Great vid! My 22 day old is spitting up too much. Ppl say it’s normal, but I think it’s happening in excess. Anything I can do to control this!??
I appreciate this video. My son was in the NICU for 4/26-5/17 3 weeks )and he turned 1 month this Tuesday 5/24 so this helped me feel at ease that’s he’s doing fine. The doctors says he’s doing fine. I just get paranoid as a new mom.
Sounds like he’s doing great! And remember too, it’s by adjusted age for milestones! My first was a NICU grad too. I hope you’re recovering from that trauma; NICU life is so hard.
That's awesome, so glad you're out and thriving! Mine is a month this week, without being early and NICU, he'd be at 39 weeks gestation 😆 all milestones though 👍👍phew no worries right? (No sleep right?)
I have a question thats been bothering me: my daughter absolutely hates being on her back, swaddled or not, cries hysterically every time she's on her back, and she always prefers tummy time (whether laying in her bassinet or on mine or my husband's chest). Is that normal and if not, how do i curb that so she sleeps properly?
She's coming up on one month now. You're right it's really hard and upsetting alot of the time. She's good though. She's doing 100% exactly everything youe mentioned here. That was actually impressive
Hello, may I ask you if this startle reflex means baby should wake and start crying too? My baby just jerks and startles but most of the time she keeps sleeping, sometimes partly open her eyes, "checks the situation" and keeps sleeping and sometimes slowly wakes up. Most of the time she keeps sleeping though. Is that how it should work? Thank you very much.
Thank you so much for this video. I am an uncle who lives with my sister who is single so essentially i am the only male figure in his life other than my dad. Oh, I'm so sorry! My second daughter had a "witching hour" too and it's really, really hard. Sometimes when it got super bad, I'd give her a swaddle bath and that helped calm her down a little. Just know that it's temporary and WILL pass. (And thank you for being a rad uncle to your nephew!)

Tired teen mom watching at 3:00 am here, this is a life saver. Thank you!
You got this mama
Wishing you all the best!! You can do it mama! ❤
God bless you. Wishing you the best
Haha tired new dad at 6am watching for some encouragement after my baby just screamed at me for 2 hours straight
You got this!
So amazing to know my baby is on track ❤ praying for all the mommies in the comments 🙏🏾🥰🥰
Glad you’re doing well. 🎉❤
My daughter recognized her brother's (3) voice right away and would turn to him. Guess it helps he liked talking ton her in my tummy.

Most babies do this these days. These post covid babies are built different honestly. It's amazing the things they do
@@TN-show3989Yes my baby 3 weeks and he can hold his hold up, pafic, and bottle im like wow
They're not built different lol. Babies naturally lift their heads to an extent immediately as a way to root for food.
Same here , our newborn on day one had strong neck muscles and the midwife commented on it straight away.

Watching this at 4 AM just got my 1 month old to sleep for a little! These videos are reassuring💚 Happy my baby is hitting these milestones.
My baby is now 6 weeks old he is doing all of what you mentioned and also rolled over on his back before he was a month old during tummy time. He keep doing this whenever he is on his tummy

My baby started doing all these immediately after birth, hope it’s normal…… as he’s one month now, he’s changing sleeping position too
Thank you for the video! My baby is 1month old and seems to be developing according to your video 🎉
That’s fantastic! I hope your little one keeps growing and learning!
Reassuring video. Thank you.
My son clocks 3 weeks tomorrow and is on track with all the pointers.
My son is 3weeks old and he's showing all this milestone ❤
My baby will be a month old Tom and she does all those ❤ god is good! This child was prayed for atleast twice a day if not more.
Hi 👋 thanks for the video. My baby is 5 weeks today and he has been cranky, crying and clingy for the past week and a half. He is better at night however during the day he is cranky
Thanks alot!!!! My son turns 1 month today and he does all that you mentioned. I'm so excited!!
That's wonderful!! Sounds like he's doing great!
My doctor said at this point pls don’t worry about the milestone. Just rest and let the baby eat, sleep and poop
My 2weeks old, turns his head, put his hands up his face and obviously do everything cool
Sounds like things are going well!
I read my newborn the Hello Baby Animals book too!
All milestones met for my 5 week old. Very happy to see your video
My baby looks just like your baby in the thumbnail. I also just realized my baby has the exact same burts bees footie lol
Thanks for this video my baby is a month old
My daughter is 8 days old and she’s doing everything that was named in this videos as a 1 month milestone
Thank you for your video, very informative. When should i introduce a routine for my baby please?
My grand son is now going to the 1 month mile stone.. and when I walk into the bedroom he turns his head in my direction when he hears my voice
Sounds like he’s doing a great job!!
When my grandson was one month old he was the hungry Hippo and he still the hungry Hippo with his beautiful self and he's like 5 months now
One month next Wednesday, so happy and a bit tired. I am afraid of tummy time
Don’t be afraid! As long as you are supervising, it is so good for them!
thank you for sharing right now i also have 1 month old baby boy
Thank you so much for a video! Your baby is precious! I like pink baby pillow , where did you get it? Thanks.
Thank you so much for this video!
All my three kids were smiling, when talking to them at 1 month :)

Some jerking is totally normal! It’s just if they’re doing it a LOT that it’s a cause for concern!
Mine also its a quiet mover so scary sometimes need to hold properly otherwise might fall down 😯
Thank you for sharing this video. My newborn is 17 days old, and recently she's exhibiting signs of vomiting after feeding, sometimes high-pitched coughing as well right after latching. From what my doctor told me, that’s pretty normal and not an issue as long as baby is gaining weight. Always worth bringing it up.
Hey! New mom here! Great vid! My 22 day old is spitting up too much. Ppl say it’s normal, but I think it’s happening in excess. Anything I can do to control this!??
Hey, did you get an answer
this was great and informative my baby girl turns 1 month in 3 days
I’m glad it helped!! Happy one month to your little lady!!
Don’t ask me how I’m doing 😂
Good video, thanks!
Ha! I know that feeling! Wishing you sleep and less crying soon! 🙏🏻
Great video, I was sure my granddaughter, Zinga could hear at 1 month, contrary to what the clinic card says 🤔.
Lovely 😍 👌
Thank you so much for this channel.
Lovely explanation, watching from Pakistan.
Thank you for watching!
Thank you for making this video!
Your baby is so cute!!! ❤ thanks for tips
Thank you dear . . . Alots of love from Afghanistan
Where do we do tummy time? & How long
This is extremely helpful! What kind of pacifier was that in some parts of the video? Hard to find one my son likes at 1 month.
It’s an Avent Soothie! They’re the ones our hospital gives out!
Thank you for the information. Your children are beautiful.
You're so sweet; thank you!
Im on my second and this little one is giving me a time. Having a toddler and newborn is hard!!
I have a month and 17months toddler too.its so difficult to take care of them .
It really is. But I will say it DOES get easier, I promise!

Great video. Easy to understand.
Happy almost 1st birthday baby girl!!!!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰

...as I sit here watching with my 1 week old baby girl, Mina. 🥰😂
Hey queen nice video my one month old is doing well it's just a issue is she sleepy in her bassinet

okay but when do you do tummy time? after they eat ?
Not gonna lie, I’m not a parent and don’t have any inclinations to be one, but I need to know this info for stuff I’m writing. So thanks.
Happy to help whoever needs it, writers included! 👍🏻
Thank you so much for this! Very reassuring ❤️❤️❤️

My baby is doing all in her first week!
Same here what really helps I think is actually engaging with your baby.
So is mine 9 days old 😊
HIIIIIIIIII ITS MEEEEEEE
❤ very helpful
Such a great video
Thank you! I hope it was helpful!
Thank you, great info.
Thank you so much for this video. I am an uncle who lives with my sister who is single so essentially i am the only male figure in his life other than my dad. We notice that Atlas (boy) gets colicky between 8 PM to 1 AM. Do you have any recommendations for those times? When he wakes up we feed him and burp him, then we change his diaper and then he cannot for the life of us stop crying for hours on end. Is this natural?
Oh, I'm so sorry! My second daughter had a "witching hour" too and it's really, really hard. Sometimes when it got super bad, I'd give her a swaddle bath and that helped calm her down a little. Just know that it's temporary and WILL pass. (And thank you for being a rad uncle to your nephew!)
Chiropractor. I promise it will change your life
I bet you are an amazing uncle ☺️
Also, also him on a wedge. I’m sure you’ve already figured that out and gotten past that stage by now.
Absolutely not normal. Contact baby’s doctor
What if your newborn is doing all of this before the end of the first week?
Does the same apply if the baby is a premie ?
You will follow the adjusted age
My daughter is 14 days old. What is the right time to give her a pacifier?
I also want to know about this too
Whenever you like and you feel that it would help! I gave one to both of my girls pretty soon after we got home and it did not interfere with nursing.
Just had twins and im dying inside
At 3.10, what are you using to lay baby down?
It’s a boppy lounger, which has unfortunately been recalled due to infants falling asleep on it and suffocating. Now, I set her down in the very simple fisher price bouncer chair!
This is great 👍❤️
My 34 days baby holds her head up for a few seconds, touches toys on her playing mat, and smiles at me. She's also huge. She's growing too fast for me it makes me sad
It goes so fast! Enjoy every moment!!
