This brought tears to my eyes as these animals are totally defenseless against human exploitation. I am so happy they were rescued and now in South Africa, but it breaks my heart to see the young ones still in cages all over the world.😥
💯 mal ja zu diesen Worten. Sie sind für immer in Sicherheit. Danke 4 Paws und ich hoffe, dass es all den anderen Tieren bald genauso ergeht. Ein Leben in Ruhe und Frieden 😇🙏
Sky and Snow will now have the best life possible in their species appropriate sanctuary 🙏 because four paws 🐾🐾 are unceasingly amazing ❤ have a beautiful life, Sky and Snow ❄️ ❤
Good work you guys do. I know there is a lovely couple in Russia who took a very sick puma (Messi) and have cared for him very well. Now they have a second cheetah (the first one was sick with cancer and died not long after they got her). The cheetah seems lovely, but sleeps and lives in a very small enclosure, sometimes allowed out for partmod the day to walk their backyard. I do wonder if this is the best environment for the cheetah given how they love to run. The couple do their best for her, but would love to see Gerda have a lot space and richer environment to live in.
I know it is a step in the right direction but I still feel a bit sad. These rescued tigers and lions get from a tiny to a small enclosure. It is a positive step but still so far from what they should get.
Hi there! We understand how you feel. ❤ Big cats which were born in captivity or have spent most of their life in captivity cannot be released back into the wild. Because they are dependent on humans, it compromises their ability to survive in the wild. However, FOUR PAWS Big Cat Sanctuaries offer a species-appropriate safe haven for such big cats. The big cats get the chance to finally display natural behaviours; their enclosures provide them with enough space to roam around and also allow them to withdraw; all enclosures have natural vegetation, trees and/or wooden structures to climb on or rest underneath protected from the sun, and tigers, leopards and jaguars are provided with water to bathe in. You can read more about our standards of care here! www.lionsrock.org/about-lionsrock/standards-of-care
Yes these rescued tigers originate from India. but given their dreadful captive situations, I'm sure if they could speak, they'd tell you how grateful they are for the huge enclosures, , the grass beneath their feet and the wonderful care that they'll receive for the rest of their lives ...these tigers were born in captivity...Africa or India means nothing them...the ability to run around , play and the huge improvement in their quality of life means everything...
I've never had anything posted to me. Only emails. Perhaps you needed to tick a box for paperless contact, or they send things out to people who make one off donations. Shame, you won't support their work financially anymore, but hopefully you'll stay tuned for their video releases.

I’m sorry but tigers don’t belong in Africa, they being in India, lions belong in Africa!

I won't donate again as my money was spent on lots of printed material posted to me. NOT TO HELP ANIMALS.
