I really liked a lot of the colors in the original KVD liquid lipsticks but they were terribly drying as you said. I stopped using them because my lips were cracking. I might check these out. But like you and some of the other commenters stated, you can’t beat the Chanel. The gloss on top just makes it so much more comfortable. It’s more expensive but worth it not the have prune lips.

Whenever I use matte lipsticks, I use my trusty Beekman 1802 dewy kiss lip salve as a base and it helps a lot.

KVD is such a sleepy brand to me & I don't care much for liquid lipsticks. However, I did like the first pinky shade on you!! You should have gotten that blue 💙 shade Rebecca...dontcha remember that episode of "Friends" where Joey did that commercial for "Iciban For Men"? 🤣🤣🤣

I think the brand is on the up and up. I loved the tattoo liner & original liquid lipsticks, plus their brushes. I’ve loved the good apple foundation. I am hopeful for the brand. I’d like to try the blushes 👍

Thank you for this very honest review! Everyone has been hyping up the shake liquid lipstick, but I'm more of a traditional lipstick girl. Thank you for steering me away from these gimmicky lipsticks! I will stick to the hydrating kind. My lips are always dry and I knew these wouldn't work for me, but its SO HARD to find an true honest review now! I've originally purchased Baneberry from Ulta but I've returned it. It does feel light on the lips...but it felt uncomfortable on my lips and drying. In my opinion these felt just as drying as the other everlasting liquid lipsticks. Also the pigment for the shade Baneberry wasn't as pigment on my two-toned lips as I'd like.

You look SOOO GOOD in these shades!!! But, then again, I’ve never seen you try something that didn’t look great on you. Honest. I don’t wear liquid lipstick… too drying, even when it’s not. I don’t own anything from KVD but, boy, do I have countless memories of Kat’s brand BITD!!! I remember I could not wait to get my hands on Lolita, but I only got a sample. The color did not look good on me at all. I remember everyone was talking about it. And that “Shade and Light” palette!!! At the time, I thought it was genius: the layout, the shades, the whole concept. Meeeeeemories… 💭🥰💖

But there’s so much they can do, I guess… and this type of lipstick remains drying… even when it’s not!!! And you remember my story at the party when I tried to put a gloss over the liquid lip!!!! >>>> 🤡, except that there was no longer a lip line. The mixture went up to the nose and down to the chin!!!! 😂🙄💖

I actually used to like these. But they run soooo cool toned. A lot of the cooler nudes looked grey on me! lol GXVE shades have been so cool.

I would say this one from KVD or the UD. Closely followed by the MUFE. KVD Is longest but can be a little bit drying. If we are talking purely longevity then KVD

I think I will pass on this. I was going to say that I don’t like liquid lipsticks but I own so many 🤦🏼‍♀️. My favorite is the Chanel but I do also really love my YSL tatouage and NARS air matte.
