I have a few liquid lipsticks but I've never been into them much either. Just give me a traditional lipstick and I'll be happy. The few liquid lipsticks I have were either in sets or sephora play boxes, random things I heard were good so I thought I'd try and fit in, or these because they're actually really nice. These don't make my lips look like shriveled raisins because they've sucked every drop of moisture out of them, they fade pretty gracefully (like when I eat), and the colors are beautiful.
I own 3 shades of Kat von D liquid lips too, I don't mind them terribly but I can't wear them for more than 4-5 hours. My lips are naturally very dry, so there's just no way I can work around that - trust me, I keep on trying though :D I really enjoy the traditional lipsticks in matte finishes, those are my "necessary compromises" :)
I have 4 (Jeffree, K-Dub, Melancholia, Susperia). I feel like I had a red one my daughter swiped. My lips are on the dry side too so 4-5 hours is about how long they stay on my lips too before the need to put on balm becomes too great. If I'm having a good lip day I can make it almost a whole 8 hour shift but that's not often. Matte finishes aren't my favorites because of how dry my lips tend to be. I love them on other people though.

I bought Lolita in the studded kiss version (a bit cowardly of me), but I love it. I also bought Double Dare in the liquid lipstick, which is fantastic. Other colors I'm putting in my cart for the November VIB sale are: Ophelia, maybe Ludwig too, Lolita II, Bauhau5, Lovecraft and maybe Mother. There's some risk of getting hooked on them.
I was so excited for the new nude shades!!! Bow n arrow is beautiful but too dark of an everyday shade for my fair skin. But Ophelia is THE perfect everyday nude shade for fair skin! (Looks beautiful on you btw!!! As does every shade!) KVD's formula is sooo comfortable! Highly recommend :)

Bhumika Thakkar I love how Lolita look on her, but on me I feel I need a very smoky look to handle it. It makes me look a tone darker than I'm supposed to.

Literally pausing the video in the middle cause I had to say this: This video is incredible. I have been obsessing over these lipsticks for ages, and this video is so so good. Rambling a little but, wanted you to know that the way you show each and every colour, with a swatch, then the tube and then putting them on is a really great way of showing them. The fact that you have all of the colours and doing them in batches idek just love everything about this video. The music is great and just thanks for showing them off really well without making me jealous haha. Amazing. You are super cute and beautiful .
I wouldn't say either is better; they're both gorgeous. I think it depends on whether you want something more pink or more brown. I admit only own Bow N Arrow, but this makes me want to buy Ludwig too. I will say that Bow N Arrow comes off more brown on me than it seems to on Emily, but I'm more fair skinned than she is. Ludwig looks slightly mauve colored. I imagine the texture and application is probably the same. My other KVD liquid lipsticks all feel the same.
You are seriously the only person in the world that can pull off any shade of lipstick. Also, thanks for not trying to do awkward sexy faces in your lip swatch videos.
I have Lolita, Thumbelina (from the Farm Sanctuary line) and Sinner. I'm not good at applying it because I have shaky hands, but the formula is the absolute best you can find, and I can confirm that it is entirely kissproof.
