Hello, does adding this link increase the travel to 160? Also, if the long travel kit goes to 165, besides the extra 5mm, what other benefits would you gain with the LT version? Thanks!
The long shock kit is more about decreasing the average leverage ratio significantly. This is most beneficial to heavier riders who are up against max pressure with the stock link, however it does make it easier to tune damping as well.
If the left and right are missing, the easiest way to identify each side is by how recessed the bearing is from the outer surface of the link. The outer side of the link is the one where the bearing is recessed the deepest.
For our link for the stock shock it's the same size shock. That's the one in this video. For our long shock kit, which includes different links and a yoke, a 230x65 shock is used.
@@CascadeComponents Are you guys going to be putting out at 2019-2011 long link kit???? I have a 2019 Levo and Im currently running 27.5 on a 170mm Lyrik and the stock rear shock. Before I buy a new shock it would be nice if I could extend that travel to 160.. or close to it.. It should work the same as the 2022 no? (not the part itself but in theory)..
@@hudsonquay The weight limit is based on who will be able to reliably set sag properly. We found that at about 220 lbs the shock pressure had to be maxed out. the 200 lb limit gives a little room for people who want to run less sag.
hello. the long shock kit. Does it make the BB-height higher?
Should I grease all the washers /spacers at contact points?
You don't need to if you don't want to. It can make assembly a little easier, but other than that doesn't do anything.
Good option but the Max rider weight limit being 200 lbs is disappointing.

This can be used to install in alloy frames or it's only for carbon frames?
Works on both!
@@CascadeComponents thanks,you're all great !!!
Greatings from Spain 🤟
Would be nice to know what this link actually does ?

Hello instead of a mullet set up, can it be convert as a full 29er?
No because the rear triangle won't fit a 29er
Hi I just received my set but there is no left and right engraved into the arms.

@@CascadeComponents Thank you. Great service, and fast delivery and I can not wait to try it!
Can i use the same stock shocks that i have for this link?
Yes. Only the long shock kit requires a different shock.
So you can keep the same size rear shock on there, or get a bigger shock 65mm
Also what would you ride fork size, a 170mm ?

you call the left side the right side
200 pounds??
Yes. Anyone 200lbs and over should be on the long shock kit.
@@CascadeComponentsI’m a tad over 200lbs and ordered the regular link. What are the implications of exceeding the recommended weight limit?
