YAY! Thank you so much, I needed this - I've always used Annie Sloan but it's kinda hard to get around me... glad to know there are others that may even be superior to that one! Thank you - you did a great job!!!
Thank you for your video. Two years ago, First time I used chalk paint, I used Dixie Belle. For a first time user, I felt like I had success with this brand. This video was extremely informative for my future projects. I Thank you again
Loved ur comparison video. Thank you. Maybe I bought bum batches of Waverly. But I found that it dragged majorly on bare wood. Brush strokes galore. I will not ever use chalk paint again. Esp. not Waverly. Price was cheap enough, however it ruined my $50 project.
I think you are 100% right on getting bad batches. Especially if it's been sitting on the shelf for a long time. I think I got a bad batch of Folk Art because it was awful. And you're also right on not picking chalk paint if you don't want brush strokes. No matter which paint there will be some (unless you spray it, but I'd rather use am all in one or alkyd for that purpose anyway!)
I’ve only used Waverly and Folk Art. I prefer Waverly although their color catalog could be improved. I do love the amount of color choices with Folk Art.
Yes! I tested that brand in a side by side with 13 other all-in-one paints and it performed well. Still making the video for it, but I was pleased too!
Oh man. I almost said in the video, "if your chalk paint brand isn't in this video, you should look at your marketing efforts" 😳 I tried so hard to find as many as I could!
Great question! I actually have never seen or heard of DIY paint. It isn't sold anywhere near Chicago and it didn't come up when I searched different chalk paints online 🤷♀️
It's always so helpful to see what the seasoned users think about the different products, thank you for taking the time, great video!

I am doing a mirror in a plastic frame, does anyone have opinion as to the best product and should I prep before. Thanks
Waverly smells so bad! I'm not sure it's safe to breathe it but I agree with the performance accessment.
What did you keep ignoring krylon 😕
my brand you did not do. oh well its the best. Yea DIY,

Diy is clay and chalk based paint, it would be best compared to other clay based paints, to be fair
Why is there no DIY paint review? It is truly a chalk paint, not a acrylic paint like most of the ones you tryed.
