I’m planning to paint the apron and legs of my kitchen table, the backs and legs of its matching chairs, and the legs of its accompanying bench. I have a few questions! 1. If choosing Behr, would you choose the regular version or the chalk version? 2. Would you BIN prime them all either way? 3. Do I need to seal them and if yes, what product would you choose? I really appreciate your review videos! Before I found them, I was comparing paint can options and the project seemed much more daunting.
I liked the Magnolia brand. I painted a heavy wood step stool (wood was not v nice) that I found at a thrift shop and it covered really well. The nozzle was sputtering and splattered the paint on the second layer so I had to sand it but it really has a beautiful finish. The color is rainy day, it has a coastal morning mist appearance to it that’s very soothing and attractive, almost like a neutral.
Hi, nice videos, question, out of all the videos and comparasen you have done, if you are going to spray paint lots of pieces as I have, and you have to choose just one primer and one paint, (white) what will be you pick?
Hi! Do you have a comparison video between polyeurathane top coats spray cans? I just finished a desk painted in DB chalk paint, with furniture appliques. I was kinda over it so I opted for Varathane's Triple Thick Polyeurathane in a Matte Finish. It certainly is not a one coat and done. Im interested in knowing more, like tips or good things to know when using it. Would you have any recommendations? Thank you!!!
Home Depot for the win! Cheapest option and it seems to work. I'll try some on a project soon. I always sand and prime anyway. Easier to do it in the first place rather than having to redo it.
Krylon has the worst sprayer tips in the world. At least 1 out of every 3 cans I’ve ever used didn’t work and it always sprays after I take my finger off of it.

So true!
I’ve never had any luck from any Krylon brand paint, especially Krylon brand spray paint.
What about upholstery?
With the magnolia do you need to put anything on after to seal it?
Technically no, not with the spray version because these are oil based. The other can version yes you would need to seal the paint.
Appreciate
Where do you buy Magnolia?
You can find the list of supplies and link to the each products used in the description. 🙂
Can I use a chalk paint wax on these ?
Yes

I hope you find your T's

Wow, really? No need to sand or primer - sounds to good to be true.
You can always sand and prime if you feel the need to!
