You should fill 95 octane fuel as much as possible as it is recommended by the manufacturer. Turbo charged engines have a higher compression ratio and higher octane fuel burns better in such engines. Who knows using 91 octane fuel might cause problems down the road and then people will blame VW skoda for being unreliable when they have clearly mentioned on the fuel cap and the user manual that the minimum recommended fuel is 95 octane. 91 octane can be used in emergencies.
I see you mentioned that it is difficult to find 95 octane fuel in Shimla, that must mean it doesn't get sold much. This brings up one more headache, if the fuel is slow moving and sits in the storage tank for too long, it might get deposits in it from the surroundings which can be transferred to your fuel tank while filling the car up.
No bro Minimum requirement is 91 Octane and max is 95Octane and the main thing is here people don’t fill up with 95octane because its rarely used and sometimes in petrol pumps people sell 91 octane and charge extra money in the name of 95octane.
@@Slaviaguy I think I remember that VAG suggests 95 octane to be the minimum requirement and permits use of 91 octane in case of emergencies. I don't know the impact though, it has been more than 3 years since these cars launched and most people fill up 91 octane. Yet no such failures or complaints have come through after the EPC saga. Maybe it won't affect anything after all.
It's shocking to hear that but I can expect that in hilly regions. Heck, even I am not sure I am getting XP95 in its name even after paying for it. A lot of IOCL bunks still mention it has `premium petrol` instead of XP95 but upon asking they say it is XP95. I seriously doubt if that's the case but I still fill up with XP95 as much as I can.

Hi, would you recommend getting a Slavia for Shimla? I know a hatchback or cSUV would be easier to keep there but I’m really intrigued by the Slavia, will it be manageable there or should I get something else?
Yes bro you can go for it if you have good parking place. If you like slavia then surely go for it. Everything gets managed once you buy a car. 😉

I am only worried cause some friends from Shimla told me it’s very hard to keep a sedan there but I don’t really like compact SUVs.

I also did not any much difference with XP95 but with HP Power I could surely see a huge difference. Not sure if this was because of the Petrol Pump... As the HP power where I put was a new bunk....

Only change you'll get from using xp95 is lower fuel economy. I used to regularly fill xp95 in my 1.5 kushaq and have stopped now. I frankly have noticed no performance improvement.
Bro I am also confused right now because here in shimla availability of XP 95 is low and you don’t even know that for what fuel you are paying extra money. Once it gets common in Shimla I will definitely try this for sometime. 🙏🏽❤️
@@Slaviaguy there's an interesting youtube video comparing xp95 with normal hp petrol. It clearly shows xp95 has significantly high ethanol blend which boosts octane number. More ethanol means less fuel eco.

@@amartyaganguly8369 @Slaviaguy XP95 or any other 95 octane fuel being sold in India has 14-15% ethanol blend. Since last year all of the fuel brands have started shelling out E20 (20% ethanol blend) normal petrol which has a higher ethanol content than XP95 etc. If you car is not E20 compliant, it is better to use 95 octane fuel as it will prevent long term damage to an extent.

Yes bro I am using normal fuel for my 1.5 MT as well so don’t worry. And I guess your car will give mileage of around 15-16kmpl.
Slavia 1.5 manual sometime 1st gear not engage properly after reversing?
Bro just put the car in neutral and then release clutch and again try to engage first gear. Will surely work. Nothing to worry about

Bro it is a definitely a nice car, just look for the year of manufacturing, do check all the suspension and other things before buying because sometimes people change the KM reading in these cars. Rest you can go for it is an amazing car 🙏🏽❤️
I have completely different opinion about this by using XP 95 in both are 1.5 and 1 litre automatic, we have achieved more performance and efficiency in both engines , especially when driven sporty manner

XP95 gives me an average of around 15.5 - 16 kmpl and normal fuel I was getting 13-14 kmpl.
Performance does not improve but engine is easier to rev.
Ok broo but I felt no difference in fuel economy bro infact I felt my fuel economy decreased by 1-2Km/L. All I felt was that engine runs smoothly.
@@Slaviaguy it is recommended that after moving to a higher octane fuel. You have to drive it for at least 500KM for your car's ECU to adjust to the behavior of the new fuel. I've driven around 2000KM and someone else like my father when he drives my car he definitely says that car feels better to drive. You drive it daily so you don't notice the difference much. But you should see at least fuel economy improvements.

Do you also get noise from your Slavia AC ? Mine is 2 weeks old and AC is making weird noise. The noise it not continuous, it comes occasionally . Do you know the reason ?
Bro I had issues with AC but after an update it got settled. Never had any noise problem but in my car all the vents used to release air whether you set in anywhere or not. But after update it got resolved brother.

Agree with Slaviaguy. The issue got fixed after a software update and maybe after running the car a lot. My car has ran 25k kms and there are no AC noises.

Brother thank you so much 🙏🏽❤️ Slavia ka Clutch is not so hard and not so smooth it is kind of in the middle, also are problems in 1.5 Manual clutches like it gets stuck in the middle due to lack of pressure.
