It is incredible that some airlines can provide a service
on board no matter how long or short the flight is. And then other airlines (you know who you are) won't do anything on flights that are several hours long, or if they do they charge you for everything and anything. Biman… please teach other airlines what the right way is when it comes to customer service.

Some passengers flying domestic across Bangladesh (all of which are less than 1hr) want hot meal even after the airlines serve a decent snack box.Good to see that you had a pleasant experience onboard Biman, would've been nicer if you ended up onboard their own 737s which features ife and Sky interiors
How are you even supposed to eat a hot meal on such a short flight?

You have to take this into consideration that flying in Bangladesh is still considered a luxury experience and this expectation of having hot meals comes from there. Its not just in Bangladesh this is often the case in other southeast Asian country as well.

This makes me appreciate European high speed rail so much. Even though I love flying, trains for these "short" distances are just so much better in so many ways imho
High speed rail is the way to go if you have the option. Even in a rich country like Australia we don't have that option because of low population density. If I went to Kalgoorlie from Perth the average speed of the train would only be 85 km/h. It can do 150 on some stretches but the same track is used for heavy cargo trains and needs upgrading for the higher speeds. Driving at 110 km/h is quicker.

Keine Ahnung wie du rechnest aber DUS-FRA sag ich dir ganz ehrlich, dauert schon um die 3-4 Stunden. Normalerweise 4. Und dann noch Verspätung dazu addieren.

First of all I would say your luck was bad that day. They didn't provide you COBUS 2500 instead of that mini bus for going to the aircraft. Secondly S2-AFM was the oldest aircraft that you flew with. Among all B737-800NG in Biman's fleet S2-AHV & S2-AHO is the newest and latest. Both got IFE inside aircraft. Lastly Terminal 3 got almost ready by the time you published this video. Soft opening is scheduled in October 2023. Hopefully you're coming at that time.

Hey mate. So I am Irish Bengali. Flew this route when I was over in June 2022.
Hopefully you enjoyed your brief I presume stay in Bangladesh. It can be a lot to deal with for westerners. Trust me, I know lol.
Buses at Dhaka's domestic terminal are the typical airport ones I have experiences. These normal ones I haven't seen before in all honesty.
We ourselves flew Novo Air rather US Bangla.
And yeah, they look after you good with the food even in 20 min flights. As a kid to adult in my 30s like last year, I always appreciated that 😂
Fingers crossed the new terminal is better organised. Design wise, it looks the part, at least.
Expect to see the new terminal inaugurated soon in October this year

Somehow, you boarded a normal coaster while boarding, but normally biman uses cobus models which can 72 people in one bus. Love from Bangladesh ❤

4:34 they don't even use coaches at Sylhet Airport they just have minibuses so unsurprisingly the remote/hard stands are solely reserved for light aircraft!

They should cut out the serving foods for short flight, may supply a bottle of water if requested. Bangladesh Biman is losing money, and should try to be more economically efficient. ( a government enterprise)
But things like snacks is what will make people come back.

I flew Biman Boeing 737 to Cox's Bazaar, the departure was delayed by 5 hours and the actual flight was only about 35 minutes!

What incidents? Biman has a good safety rating.

Biman used to fly to New York JFK but not anymore. I wonder why did they discontinue the service? 😊
Is it because all the Bangladeshis prefer flying MidEastern carriers even if it requires a connection instead of their own national carrier? 🤔
In 2006, JFK terminated the service due to the aging aircraft, which occurred before the comprehensive airline fleet overhaul involving the introduction of brand-new planes. Presently, Biman is engaged in negotiations with JFK while concurrently evaluating the feasibility and profitability of reinitiating the service utilizing its newly acquired aircraft.

It’s a 35 min flight, and why you complaining about this flight? Biman gave you food, and didn’t walk you to the aircraft, got you on it in a bus, try western countries airline,
Ryan air, spirit air, fly be, and a few more walk to the plane no bus service, pay for luggage, and pay for all food on board, very rough landing, this I would say was a great flight, and no European flight uses inflight entertainment, not that I have seen, and some idiots moan about a domestic flight, Biman has done a great job,
Almost ella stations ilum stop ind keralathil it's really a boring train I'm a student in Bangalore and i used to go to native (Trivandrum) in this train it take 15 to 16 hrs to reach there.such a boring train journey 😂

They operate this to Abu Dhabi, because most of the passengers are migrant workers, they don't give a damn about IFE and even if they get it, most of them don't watch anything

Bangladeshis have a very high standard of personal cleanliness and they also have a wide variety of locally made perfumed oils which many use. I have encountered Europeans who stink but not Bangladeshis.
