Yeah... it was a real shame that Liat collapsed. That was a very poor decision by the government of Antigua & Barbuda to allow that to happen. I bet they are regretting now. They no longer have an airline, and no longer have any say about anything.
As a Trinidadian I'm biased, but it's always comforting to hear that Trini accent after a visit abroad from the cabin and flight deck crew 😂 Caribbean Beat is one of the best magazines about the Caribbean, by the Caribbean to be published too.

Thanks for flying on my country's airline because I'm from Trinidad and Tobago. I never got a chance to fly on CAL's 737s even their old ones. I recently flew direct JFK to POS on Caribbean. Biz on the return to JFK. I am originally from Trinidad and it was my first time back in years. I remember in the old days pre 9/11 there were many more flights. Now it's mostly Caribbean Airlines.
I recall British West Indies Airlines BWIA and Air Jamaica now merged into Caribbean Airlines. Both airlines were known for HORRIBLE service. The Caribbean really has a void in airline service between the islands. Let us see how AraJet in the Dominican Republic does.

No, definately not. Lufthansa does not fly to Australia at all. They used to, but not for a very long time. Better to try Emirates, Qatar or Singapore Airlines, if you want to fly from Munich to Sydney.
Nice video. The precision and clarity of the cabin attendants’ voice was amazing. There was almost a subtle inference of ‘don’t test me’ when she instructed about directing your attention to the safety demonstration and to limit conversation during that demo. 😏
Other interesting flights to review would be JetSmart’s Santiago de Chile-Trujillo in A320neo, or Copa’s Panama City-Chiclayo in B737-800. Reviews of those flights are almost inexistent or show only the view from the plane’s windows. Both are the only international routes reaching airports in Northern Peru.
I flew with them around the same time you did from YYZ-POS. I didn't like the one row at a time disembarkation (but understood because of COVID-19), the inflight entertainment via wifi didn't work, no in-seat plugs in the basic economy, legroom could have been better, but they did give Trini chicken roti as a snack which was really cool! Getting a taste of the local culture before getting there was a nice touch IMO

When filming onboard, mostly iin economy class, do you tend to have a feeling of hesistation because of people looking at you with a camera. I struggle filming onboard, I have tried making videos, but they are not the best because of how much less I film
Jerk chicken is more Jamaican fare; Caribbean Airlines is a Trinidadian airline. So you would get more Trinidadian based dishes (in the pre-ordered meals section). Same reason you wouldn't get Red Stripe. If you were getting a local beer, it would be Carib.
