okay, can we just talk about how weird it is that townies get mad whenever you do anything in their house (i.e. sleeping and cooking)? I think that the game should take into account the relationship of the sim and the townie. Once, my sim went back to her parent's house and was stopped from cooking. In reality, my parents wouldn't be disturbed that I was cooking in the house that I grew up in.

Yes its absolutely ridiculous. I had my sim girl go off to college and move in to the dorm house on campus. And when she went back to home to visit…her hygiene was low so she decided to take a shower! … No her dad did not have the nerve to get upset?! Told her to stop… don’t do that!

maybe this could be profitable if you find a way to spend less money on them, like the flower arranging. could try to use the simple living trait and haggle for discount ingredients

I don’t understand why the Sims doesn’t have a system where you make +10% of whatever the craft costs and get +1% extra for ever level of the skill you have.
the fact that dust makes you more money is ridiculous… idk why all crafts aren’t like paintings.

I am pretty sure I saw a simmer use a yard sale table to markup prices of crafted goods such as flower arranging and was able to win the make money scenario. Surely you can use the same method with cakes.

You’re a genius, omg
Kayla... if you take the cake slices individually from the finished cake, the slices sell for as much as what the whole cake is sold for. While you click on the cake, take piece of cake for inventory... they will keep the slices in their inventory for you to sell
Also, be sure your sims takes a piece instead of grabbing a slice... that way Stanley doesnt eat all the cake before you're ready to sell it. I have used a selling table to place the slices of cake on, then start a yard sale. To make a big profit, sell them at 300%. Good luck!

Wedding cakes might actually work great with the dlc because of how the prices scales, since all the wedding cakes are worth 200 simoleons, with 100 percent mark up you would at least get the 200 as pure profit, if not more depending on the cake
On Simsie's last video there was a comment saying something like "at least if you have a wedding in the new world no one will die cause you don't have any old family members"

Here's a thought, could the rating of the stove/fridge have anything to do with the value of the cakes? The higher the rating on the appliances, the higher the value? Hmmm... Sell baked/cooked goods for 300% markup on a market table and you'll make massive amounts of money. If you want to make more from each item sell them as individual portions too. 👍🏻 Obvs doesn't work with just this pack but if you have the market tables it's the best way to make money.
My inner desire to have a bakery continues to be rewarded. These cakes will be a great boon to a bakery sim. Though those prices need more balancing.
