We all knew Simsie was going to do this the moment it was announced in the trailer
SAME I just KNEW there would be many rages to riches with this pack lamo 😂
Same❤
SAME
It wouldn't be an expansion pack if she didn't figure out all the ways to make bank 😂
Just a PSA for y'all! There's 3 additional types of nectar available, but they're only available for certain occult sims! Plasma for vampires, a valarian(?) for spellcasters, and a moonpetal for werewolves! I haven't really been seeing it on the guides lol
Ooh, thank you for the tip! I hadn't thought of having a vampire rancher but I'm warming to the idea
@@vanguardiris3232 I only discovered this because I got the pack (mainly) FOR the nectar making because that's such a good vampire hobby lol
Oooh. Blood Wine! I'm going to have to get a mod to create some Klingon sims for my vampires to sell it to.
@@vanguardiris3232 My ranchers are vampires, a goth vampire ranch.
Was playing a spellcaster and saw the valerian and was like, oh wait there are hidden ones and cheated to check. Was gonna comment about them existing but you already did. I wonder if you can at all get them when not having the type...
"I haven't been out of the basement in weeks" I came here to have a good time and frankly I'm feeling a little attacked XD
Love Stanley and your rags to riches
Definitely not me 😅😂
The Sims: one huge window for your house, $40
Also The Sims: one dirty, crrappy bottle of grass wine, aged for a couple days: $890
One house window: $40
One toilet paper roll: $50
💀
made by a hot dog in a basement let’s not forget 😭
@@issy483right next to his toilet and shower no less! Imagine how moist those basement walls must be
@@BlueSodaPop_ ew lol
One huge window: $40
One tiny window: $80
Why? Sims said so. Money in Sims makes no sense and it irritates me to no end.. it's honestly part of why I can't stand playing it but enjoy building.
Imagine taking a full inventory of fine nectar and selling it in one of those market tables and marking up the price 👀
Good idea. I didnt think about that one yet
Omg Simsie needs to try that.
😳
I did it and it worked so well
I've been doing that on my save and it is AWESOME for money, however the money you earn doesn't seem to count towards the aspiration so that kinda sucks
$400K from Wine??? If only wine made you that rich in real life.
it does when you sell it, not drink it haha
is it wine? i thought layla said it was nectar?!
@@Olivia-ki2jg “nectar” is wine, they just can’t call in that in the game!
It definitely makes you rich if you're the owner of the vineyard
Oh yeah, winery owners for sure are rich af! 😮💨
Nectar making is insane! Way better to farm money this way than painting, and way more fun too!
Tip: I noticed that if you leave the Nectar in the rack, it's price will still keep increasing. It won't go beyond finely aged, but the price will never stop increasing. I currently have a normal quality grape Nectar worth of 25k simoleons (I've been making it non stop ever since the release lmao)
Similar to real wine. Eventually it reaches a point that it won't really "age" anymore but people will pay more for older ones still. Like there would be a premium price for something from the 1980s even though most wine peaks at 20 years. Some at 30 years. So there's no need to really pay more, but people want to for the vanity at that point.
If you seem to lose a bottle of nectar, put your walls down because it's more than likely stuck in the wall. I've had this happen and it worked for me.
Hear me out: Can Simsie get rich quick using only prairie grass?
YESSS I thought of that too!! Seems chaotic enough 😂😂
once she said loot box I said hm... sounds interesting...
Just collecting stuff from the prairie grass? And, selling the prairie grass itself...but not making nectar?
Sounds like a new challenge, lol.
James Turner mentioned doing a challenge like that.
@@Geekabibble when did he mention that? :o
My thoughts exactly. 😮
I think it’s fair that she starts challenges with stuff now because she *could* spend an hour harvesting to buy this stuff or she could just skip that part we’ve seen a million times.
Plus nectar making has one of the higher initial investments unlike a lot of her other schemes that are cheaper or even free to get into.
So this time that initial phase with frogs, collectables and squeezing money out of everything would be much longer than normal.
It's similar to when I watch Minecraft videos and people use creative to build or build off camera. Everyone acts like it's a massive sin but I'd rather they do that than spend forever building or just not do it and get bored because they don't have anything nice. Skip those bits we've seen a million times.
Also, at that point isn’t it just playing the game normally to get nectar as a proper side gig?
@@Cecebookworm07 Yeah it kinda is 😭
I have a curiosity, what do you mean parts we’ve seen a million times?
Sorry if my English is bad, it is not my first language.
kayla giving Stanley the *bare minimum he needs* to do what title says he'll do, and then apologizing for "twisting" the rules, (like she's not sparing us from watching five minutes of the hot dog sim run around and look for frogs so she can get started at the beginning of all of these videos) is always so funny to me
honestly, until they add new spawning items that can make you money, i think we're all grateful you test the actual jobs out in such an interesting way!
OMGGGGGGGGGG. You can literally make nectar as an investiture for children. They can literally take it with them to sell when they move out. Or you can hold up a bunch in a basement and have a sitting gold mine under the house. That is so freaking cool. A great addition for legacy families honestly!
‘I have to actually talk to people now, this sucks.’ Kayla just described being introverted 😂
The worst part is when you're a social introvert. Meaning you *want* to talk to people but it sucks to do..
I was thinking about commenting this then I saw this
"I haven't been out of the basement for weeks..." Right at the start sets the right tone.
Don't we all dream of consuming nectar that was trampled by an unwashed hot Dog who has the toilet in the Same rooms as the food process 😂
I literally started crying laughing reading this comment. You just made my day lol.
that’s definitely my dream 😂😂😂
A thing that would be really funny is that Simsie could do a challenge but her game is in a foreign language and she could test how good her memory of the game is
Would love to see a part 2 where Stanley uses his riches to build a luxurious ranch full of hotdog horses
"When I start making more money, life will be good. But life is, in fact, not good yet" 😂😂 Simsie with some killer lines today, I snorted
I love hearing Kayla's speech patterns slowly adopt more and more British phrasing. "We've been sat here for a long time..." "I'm considering letting Stanley sleep loads..."
I love how you've picked up on that
Horse Ranch has provided everyone’s favorite weenie sim rare opportunities to live a we’ll deserved life of luxury!! GO STANELY 🎉
I actually cannot believe that selling nectar to the literal nectar guy introduced by this pack doesn't count towards the aspiration
And now for the 100.000 $ question: is this a bug or just one of those usual terrible-flavored feature?! 😂
@@coconoisette I don't think it's a bug or a feature. I think it's probably a programming problem (so possibly an oversight). It's likely coded to count when being sold from your inventory, but the game isn't registering what is being sold to an NPC. Selling from a table/yard sale might also not count for the same reason, but I haven't tested to find out.
I've been testing it myself as I've had the same problem selling the Nectar to finish the aspiration and I've found that for it to count as "selling" you have to drag each stack into the Sell section of your inventory. Multi-select doesn't count either.
The most expensive bottle of nectar I sold so far was a finely aged fruit nectar made of tomatoes worth 11,500 😂
My sims' first year on her ranch wasn't even over and she was already a millionaire and then she stole Umber from Juniper, just for sh*ts and giggles 😅
Stanley finally is gonna have a nice house. (and hopefully not suffer) 😊
Who are you kidding Stanley is always going to suffer..
I know but sometimes i just hope kayla is gonna be nice
Make the house in a shape of a hotdog
Stanley was born to suffer.
@@egg_armyI had an idea to make a hot dog themed mansion and then even though helicopters aren’t in the sims have a hot dog helipad “pixel arted” with floor tiles on the roof
Petition to let Simsie built a mansion for Stanley that’s exactly 383121 simoleons, as gratitude to his suffering and hard work!
stanley and the nectar man getting a negative relationship effect after he sold the nectar is so funny
I make greenhouse out of a roof painted with one of the glass options. Add a door and you have a greenhouse. You can grow all year, because everything is sheltered. It is cheap, and it doesn’t add to your tile count for tiny living.
I also wish the last step of the aspiration was more flexible. I used the selling table to sell my nectar, both for the challenge and for the markup, and that doesn't get recognized by the aspiration. The only transaction it recognizes is when selling through the inventory. It honestly looks like an oversight considering how many other ways to increase profit the game has.
I need Kayla to do a Rags to Riches with just the grass
I love that the aspirations don't seem to be as easy as in some previous expansions!
stanley’s wine line should be called Hot Dog Water 🤣
You're a star for showing off this gameplay and for giving a reason to not leave the house for the rest of the week, so bless!
"I'm considering letting Stanley sleep" -
I never thought I'd hear her say that
I've been doing a lot of these nectar tricks to get my Sim rich quick. I'm planning to build Southfork from Dallas on the 64x64 lot. It seems to be OPed like Orchids
video idea: building stanley a house worth however much you made selling nectar. he worked hard, he deserves a mansion!
I love this, but omg, I full body gasped when you sold the dragonfruit instead of planting it, LOL! They're worth so much!! 🥰
"I haven't been out of the basement in weeks!" I'm gonna die of laughter- Kayla your videos are amazing and the reason I play the Sims!!
It generally makes so much. I had 14 boxes or crates to actually age it, totslly did not lock my sim in a basement but I had her make A LOT of bottles (14x13=182) and I filled all 14 with 13 bottles to age it. Waited till it got to finely aged and from selling it from my inventory I got $650,000 and from selling it to the guy I got $750,000.
Couple of tips. The Nectar Maker can draw ingredients from your refrigerator. The quality and value of the ingredients affects the quality and value of the nectar, for instance, a Perfect quality Dragon Fruit would make a very expensive Excellent quality Fruit Nectar. (hint: shouldn't have sold that Dragon Fruit.) Additionally, if you don't have the space or patience to grow and evolve the ingredients, you can use the debug menu to to raise the quality of your fruits.
if you just make one nectar every ingame day then it’ll get to a point where every day you get another finely aged bottle which works out very nicely considering it doesn’t take long to make one bottle
I wanted try this too. Love that they added this in the game. Learning from you :)
Honestly, I like rags to riches videos better when you really start with nothing, instead of setting it up. Its just more interesting.
Thank you sooo sooo much for this video simsie!! I’ve been searching the whole day for videos that show the nectar making process.
What she didnt do in this video is upgrading the garden. When the fruit and stuff is better quallity the wine is also more worth i think. Im trying it in my own save now
Fun Fact, if you became a spellcaster you can use copypasto as a way to maximize all your bottles of nectar, also if you use repairio you can turn any poor quality nectar into incredible :p
Am I the only one that uses Lilsimsie as a 3 pm alarm? I'm like "Damn is 3 already?
what im confused about is why selling to the mysterious rancher didn’t complete the aspiration…. maybe it was so much money it just hadn’t loaded yet? in the goal description it even mentions how selling to him makes more money so
I used that yard sale table to sell finely aged nectar. Not the fastest way to get rich but oh my you can get really obscenely rich with it
Omg imagine making a bottle of nectar when your sim is born. Then have it age alongside them, they'll be able to drink it when they become an adult can drink it😲🍷
Stanley is known by every bar in the sims 😂 so iconic
Poor Stanley Humphrey is going through so much...
Then again, he is a literal weiner.
Stanley must look so strange to the NPCs. Guy lives in a hole in the ground only coming out to tend his plants and sell nectar. Is secretly a millionaire.
Hi Kayla, my girlfriend is a long time viewer and she loves your videos and most of the times she falls asleep with them.
I watch you occasionally and get updated on the new stuff. Keep up the great work :D
Stanley not getting high on his own supply is boss energy
please build a house for Stanley with these simoleons! he deserves to finally have his empireee
So the horse ambrosia can be used for the ghost horse by that one bridge? The one with the grave ?
„I have to actually talk to people now, this sucks!“ I’ve never heard anything more relatable
I accidently made my sim a millionaire with nectar making and burned myself out on the pack 😅
Nectar is POWERFUL
I’m surprised simsie didn’t use the gardening lot trait to speed up plant growth
Having the Rancher trait also helps to make money through nectar-making because occasionally you can get two bottles at once.
To find a lost item in the walls: Hide the walls, go in tab mode to locate the item, remove wall where the item is, grab the item, put the wall back.
So, when can we expect the "how to get rich quick using praire grass?" 😂
It'd be cool to see a tier list of all the get rich quick schemes
My favorite part of a new pack release: Simsie's get rich quick videos
It only counts to the aspiration if you click and drag it in your inventory to sell it. Not multi select or selling through Crinkletop
That feeling when Stanley's nectar basement is nicer than your entire apartment.
i love these rags to riches videos! feel bad for stanley tho, he always has such unfortunate living situations. i think it would be cool if you did a build making a real house for stanley in a style you think he'd like lol!
Put your walls down, and the bottles will appear! 😂😂 I kept losing plates, and my sims were getting uncomfortable. I put the walls down in build mode, and they showed up! 😂😂
It may take forever to age nectar but it’s still quicker than going to university 😂
Simsie!!! You’re so close to 2 million!! So proud and happy for you!
Now I want to see Kayla build a Weenie Ranch with that money for Stanley, the man deserves it 🤣🤣🤣
I don’t even play sims but I’m hooked on your vids
Yas
Glad to see Stanley is back
I wonder if this challenge would've been more amusing had Stanley been given the Paranoid Trait from Strangerville... since he lived in a basement and Paranoid Sims like being in basements. lol They get a +1 Happy Moodlet from being in basements. lol
I am actually playing with a household that I've had for a few months. There's the vegan vampire, the strangely youthful nectar maker, and their adopted spellcaster daughter. They all tend the farm, the garden, and the animals. Complete with a secret lab and passesges, its an interesting household that has long outlived all the original townies by several generations. 😀
Petition to give Stanly the house he has deserved over all this time...? He has finally broken the barrier more than ever before. Also I would love to see lilsimsie struggle to spend over 300,000 on a build. The cherry is obviously it being Stanley themed.
Hii simsie I LOVE your shirttt it looks so nice on you!!!❤ and I really really appreciate you for posting EVERY day! And streaming a lot!! I love watching your videos every day keep going girl!!🫶❤️ you’re genuinely the nicest and best TH-camr ever Xx Julie
Just realized it might be a dress😆 love it both ways!!
Stanley in his horse Ranch era- and I'm here for it
Sounds like a solidly speedrun RTR would be getting yourself a dumpster as your sole garbage unit, a "pile of presents," a basement for nectar-making, and start making yourself a greenhouse to grow fruits so you can have them all year long. (Also, if you want them right away for gardening, there's a lake in northeastern San Sequoia that you can fish Dragon Fruit and Cow Berries from that spot! Look for the little wooden dock with the umbrella-style outdoor table, can't miss it!)
Love ur videos! I just got sims! I’ve wanted it since I first saw your vids❤
I’ve been thinking about selling my aged nectar in a “winery” retail shop.
Stanley is the KING of "girl dinner"
You could do a get rich quick just by farming prairie grass. XD I love it!
The prairie grass is an excellent opportunity for a rags to riches Stanley video!
I wish you would have used the money to make the space cool and comfy at the end that’s always the most satisfying to me to watch
I've been waiting for this
Welcome back Stanley
Not gonna lie, now I wanna know how quickly could you become rich with a lot filled with prairie grass. Some of this stuff you get from it is insane.
I'd love to see you build a $350k winery/ranch for Stanley (& his horse Weenie) 💜
Hear me out… you should rank all of your rags to riches videos by either how much money it gives, or how much fun.
I think lilsimsie said there were three Stanley videos, which makes me think the last one could possibly be training and selling horses, so I suspect that just gonna be a video of her in agony because that will hurt her soul I think.
I have been doing nothing but make nectar, its my new favorite "job" in the sims since i love stay at home jobs.
im not a horse gal, but watching this series is making me consider buying the pack
4:40 so relatable
The video where Stanley actually gets rich and the only one we don't see a house for him. It'd have been MASSIVE
Btw, you can leave the nectar in your sim’s inventory and it will still age!
IM EARLY and I love Stanley he’s iconic
i love that the nectar bottles show who made them. i wanted to keep my bottles and the ones i found in separate racks and that makes it so easy
I look at the new features in the game and realize I'm looking forward to updating the conditions for the challenge not so berry! 😅
I'm currently on generation Gray and want to try all the features of the new additions
you know i'm starting to get curious if you can get rich from just the prairie grass and its loot...
The answer is yes
In town there is a park lot thats a stable and has a toilet, couches, a bar, and a grill! Definitely a good place to visit.
You should build Stanley a nice hotdog mansion with that money lol
I figured out very quickly that for whatever reason if you sell the nectar more than one at a time, it doesnt count toward the aspiration at all. So if you want the money to count for the aspiration you need to sell them one by one 😭
