I never liked Jopping much and couldn’t understand why other people did, eventually it grew on me but, again, it’s because everybody seemed to like it and not because I thought it was a good song. Since then they haven’t released anything I like much and tbh I feel the music is very weak for the otherwise strong lineup
I must say i loved E:U's raps in Ladida whereas in the past she trully was given minuscule, filer roles and it felt like Aisha was the main rapper. Ladida gave a certain flair and flavour that the rest of her lines didn't have and surprisingly Aisha's lines felt more recycled and fell flat for me when they were usually the best part of the song. I do agree that E:U deserves more, much more, but we were blessed with main rapper E:U and decent line distribution E:U, so this is a step forward in my opinion, but i do get and empathise with your point. Overall, brilliant video, loved it.
I 100% agree with you Her rap in ladida was my favorite part of the song but I wanted it to be longer to be honest. Like what was said in this video it feels like they just rush her raps. She is such a fantastic rapper. I really hope she starts getting longer raps to showcase her skills but I must say ladida had a decent line distribution and the song was overall good so I'm happy for that.
E:Us role within LDD was odd- I totally get that feeling of her rap being rushed in and out of the song, but she also does the majority of the backing vocals- which is fascinating as we never actually get to hear her sing?
I like that you said that Stray Kids are basically just leaning in with their concepts because it's what I like so much about them (other than the boys themselves they're amazing; they're the only group that I'm watching vlives of rn). Like, do you see any other group making a whole song with the concept being "we're chefs!" And letting that just, work? Though, to be completely fair to me I watch a lot of dance line fancams and mostly appreciate them for their stages and how outlandish it all gets. Don't get me wrong, I eat that shit for breakfast and also adore their slower b sides and Japan releases like Slump. But let's be real I like watching pretty boys dance well it's why I'm here. [ETA: pretty boys in general is what got me into a.c.e (... rap line in Under Cover, specifically, I have no shame) but I'm very glad I did. Somehow I forgot that Favorite Boys happened this month? So I need to get back into that one. But I love them a lot]
I honestly think E:U's little "la di da di da"s after the vocal chorus is such a beautiful marriage of opposites, especially because sihyeon's voice is light in some places and mia's is dark in others. Adios and Dun Dun felt like lazily filled girl crush templates, and Ladida takes everything everglow has done and changes it just enough to make you pay attention. it's just so their own, and it doesn't force the girls to be anything they aren't, which is what I think they've needed more of in their music.

Sameee, only with the few seconds she gets to rap in every song I can clearly see why she was chosen as the main rapper of the group. Yuehua has potentially one of the best female rappers in 4th gen, but I think giving her only a 4 to 6 seconds verse doesn't allow her to showcase how good of a rapper she actually is.

I don't particularly like Everglow's other songs, but LaDiDa became an instant favorite. I'm a sucker for 80s synth inspiration, it's the perfect running song, and it kept me holding my head high and saying "fuck you, I'm in control" when I was had to quit my job due to harassment. I found it at the perfect time in my life.
Helicopter disappointed me in all honesty, but that's okay because Everglow came out of nowhere and gave us what we needed. In a few hours from now, we will be getting what YG thinks the world needs.. What we really need is your god damned Patreon link!!!!

the appreciation in this video for all of the style & care that taemin puts into his concepts is a YES from me!!! he worked so so hard to create criminal and it shows: its a carefully crafted work of art, and an absolute masterpiece in my eyes. watching a taemin music video isnt just watching a music video, its a full-fledged Experience, and this one is no exception (in fact, i think it was probably taemin at his best, the most polished and charismatic and compelling hes ever been). honestly the only thing i disliked about criminal was how it got completely overshadowed due to being sandwiched between 2 super m songs, leaving taemin next to no room to promote or for the release to breathe, and that, of course, is no one's fault but sm's given that they were the ones who delayed his comeback again and again. tldr taemin is amazing, criminal will most likely be my personal song of the year, its perfection i also love the time you spent on favorite boys & ladida as those were 2 other recent releases that i adored. your videos are always so articulate and pleasant to watch, and the way you explain your thoughts and ideas makes any video a treat to listen to. i hope your throat feels better & your voice will return soon!!
Damn. Chill Mera voice sounds just as nice as regular Mera voice! But I do hope you’re staying healthy, and that you know how much it means that you made this video for us. Your point on Lovelyz is interesting, as a couple of my favorite things about K-Pop are the songs written for so many different voices, and how much gets accomplished within 3-4 minutes. I often listen to a song and will look at the timer and be shocked that what seemed like a whole universe was just 2 minutes and we haven’t even hit the bridge yet. I agree that this lays bare how difficult making that magic is, and how it unfortunately doesn’t always work, tho I definitely give points for effort. As an Orbit tho, I have to say that while I totally get where you’re coming from in the comparison to early B-Sides, I feel like this has a lot of similar elements on paper, but the details are more predictable here, whereas Loona (to me) more often than not feels complex yet organic, if that makes any sense. (Re-listening to this I am actually thinking this does kinda sound like a bit of a cut-and-paste from like 4 different early Loona songs so.... well said!) I hadn’t heard VAV’s song but when you said “grieving futurism” I IMMEDIATELY checked it out. One thing right off the bat that I loved was the meter. A lot of groups will occasionally play with triplets over a 4/4 time signature, this however sounds like 4/4 at first, but the pulse underneath is a speedy 6/8. This gives them a LOT of room, as they can go a slow 4 up to a slow 6 up to a fast 4 up to a fast 6, all without breaking tempo. All of the raps play with this quite well, and the delivery is that of artists who understand what’s happening and not just winging it over a beat. This all lets them build that sort of desperate tension in the verses and then just level everything with the long/slow feel of the chorus. And I love how the last chorus is sung just once, no repeat, making it more of a statement than just an obvious end to a song. Grieving futurism, indeed. I didn’t even know Treasure had a second song out yet, but you’re right on the money, though I am reticent to get my hopes up. After all, that’s YG in a nutshell, wonderful artists, high production, lots of pomp and pizzazz, all chained to a bank vault, with YG sitting alone in it with his stupid hat on. Also! Your thoughts on bands reminded me... have you checked out Se So Neon (새소년)? They are just magical mood music that will make you laugh just as easily as they make your heart burst. If not, give em a whirl! And as far as CLC goes, weren’t we just talking about syllabic design in multi-language formats? This time, we have a success. Silly as it may be. (Though the word “Pilot”, just phonetically, always bugs me for some reason in this song.) Everglow is killing it, I am so in love with their 80s synth rock approach, I am so glad E:U is being allowed to co-write again (tho not to a hugely satisfying degree). This whole release is gorgeous, they are becoming one of the most well rounded groups out there. And thank you for mentioning Player, because that song absolutely owns. I feel like with a few minor changes it could literally be a Nine Inch Nails song, which is just fascinating, and the chordal shift with the final chorus is Einstein level brilliant. Ok, lots more thoughts but this comment is already way too long. Love u tons, stay healthy, you rock. PS: Taemin is just sex. In all it’s complex, multifaceted glory. Ok. I’m out.

(^-^) I've had less time with my Kpop playlist this last month, due to work, not being on Monster Hunter World or Destiny 2 as much, as well as falling into a whole chunk of Troy Sivan. Yet when I have dived in I've heard a lot of groups I wasn't familiar with creating flawed, brash, ambitious pop .. and I love it. You described the odd slices of this as Alien, and I agree wholeheartedly. Couldn't help but giggle at the CLC section. It's not a favourite song,. but it exists in my head a lot. I hadn't factored in the 'make hella noise for the take off', but now that's in the mix, I don't see that shifting. Everglow of late seemed to be doing BlackPink better than BlackPink, and now BlackPink are back doing what BlackPink do exactly as BlackPink do it .. Everglow have evolved their sound. It wouldn't go amiss on the new Dua Lipa album, and it's another earworm. Also .. Ayesha .. [*sigh*]

If you haven't heard a ton from KNK, I would seriously recommend checking them out! They are so unknown by many kpop fans, but I love them/ their sound sooooo much. Sunset is truly a bop, and it feels like a vogueing/ model/ aesthetically-pleasing wonderland. It is truly one of my favorite kpop songs of all time, and their MV for it only has like 1.4 million views??? I honestly think you would really like Sunset. I also especially love Knock, Back Again, U, Rain- I describe their music kind of like.... kinda sad but kinda upbeat, vocally beautiful, sound like movie soundtrack sounds almost (but like in a good way).
Knk is so underrated, but I feel like they’ve been picking up a bit since sunset and ride was a great continuation of that. They’ve been working for almost 5 years now and I don’t know how old the members are, but if they have 2 years or so left before military and continue with comebacks like these songs, they might still get their big break before enlisting. At least that’s what I hope, because I love their songs^^

As a Cheshire, I have to say that while I loved Helicopter, it was very generic and typical girl crush. Not even NO or Black Dress were this generic. I did not like the MV because it was actually underwhelming and I’m afraid CLC’s MVs tend to be that way and always will be. While it does seem to be a bit better than their other MV’s, it was still pretty bad and basic. It’s unbelievable how their sister group gets two comebacks, one being an album while CLC gets a single. Just a single. It hurts seeing your group not being treated fairly.
Its a great review with amazing vocabulary as always, but please take care of your voice. Don't force yourself to do things if you're not okay and I think most people in this community will be happy with that. ^_^
I agree! La Di Da was by far my favorite comeback of the month. It really surprised me when it came out that Everglow finally leaned towards something more fresh than what they've repeated over and over. I've had the song on repeat since it's release and I find it insanely delightful. It really highlights each of the member's abilities in the best way.

The Boyz have slowly been charming me and I'm glad I finally have an Everglow song that I enjoyed more than a week. I really wish the subject was different for La Di Da, something a bit melodramatic and campy... like the 80's was. Back Door is a delight but I never playlist Stray Kidz songs, I only find them entertaining paired with the M/V. Still works I guess. But anyway, see ya next time!!
MERA! I have been waiting to hear your opinion on TREASURE for months and i can't even tell you how excited and thrilled I am that you loved their second single! I hate that i love another YG group, but I can't help it. This group has so much amazing chemistry, and their pre-debut show Treasure Map really made me fall in love with the members. PLUS they've been feeding us so well with loads of behind the scenes content. I'm glad you liked the chorus of i love you as much as I did. It's so much fun! Perfect mix of fun boy group and bad boy vibes.

I'm not a lot kpop listener (only CLC and some Twice songs) but i love your videos and opinions about songs etc. After the video i checked Everglow's songs, it was so cool, that sound it so great. Also Mamamoo's songs chorus is my favorite, those funky bass line is so great and it perfectly suits the girls voices. I'm not a fan of edm, dubstep etc. so it's great to hear real instruments in a pop songs. Great video as always. Stay healthy 💜

As to your point about La Di Da using its own elements and tweaking them throughout the song- that's why I loved Bon Bon Chocolat so much. That song has a deep bassline that changes through the choruses and a melancholic tone that builds up just to it. It's subtle but once you know it's there, it just kind of wraps around the whole melody and blows you away. My favorite kpop song of all time, and a huge reason why I loved seeing them go back to that sound. It's such a small characteristic but I would love to see this become a hallmark of their music. It makes me really appreciate the producers they work with. They have their shit figured out.
Ahhh!!! Omg you will not be disappointed!! I got into them after seeing their busking performances and just WOW that hunger, that energy is still prominent in all their performances.. I can’t believe how they sing live (I am a real stickler for groups singing live) and still dance how they do. Donghun’s voice can make me cry, Chan and Jun’s voices are so beautiful and strong as well. The way BK performs is just incredible and Sehyoon is just perfect too. Seriously watch their lives first (their MVs are so so imo, as they come from a small company (it’s literally just them) and don’t have much of a budget) and their vocal covers. The fans, Choices, always say that there are five main dancers and five main vocalists.. and yeah I couldn’t tell who was who when I first watched them! Enjoy and welcome!!! ☺️

I absolutely LOVED their debut and E:U stood out so much to me in that song and I was excited about what Everglow could be, and then their next two title tracks disappointed me. I think clc’s lyrics seem cringe until you realize they were chosen purposefully to make a statement, does not mean they’re not cringe but it shows a very fierce sincerity and genuine emotion and frustration that only chesires and clc can understand. I think this cb was a debut, a way for cube to show off clc’s talent, charisma and hard work. CLC are the most uniquely self-made group, I think cube needs to trust them more. I also view this cb as clc reassuring chesires, we’re a small fandom but clc constantly and when I mean constantly I mean EVERY SINGLE DAY!!! Show us how much they love us. They’re always apologizing to fans for their lack of music or performances and I think helicopter was a promise of more. I am heavily biased but it was my fav cb of the month. Is it the best song they’ve ever released? Not at all, but it’s the cb where All their anger and frustration of the past year were converted into charisma and improvement. I missed clc, now I want more. Clc should take a well deserved break but cube better not fuck up this time this might be their last chance to finally be successful

Usually I'm good at knowing how to describe feelings and emotions in art, but with music I have more difficulty. I can never put my finger on it, but hearing your explanations helps me figure out what I'm trying to pinpoint. I felt the same way as you for DUN DUN and Adios, and I didn't know why I felt they (and other songs that sound similar to them) were lacking something. And now I understand what I was feeling! I appreciate you helping me not be so confused! Also La Di Da was the best for me too, certain songs just have this sensation of giving you something you didn't even know you needed.

I must say i loved E:U's raps in Ladida whereas in the past she trully was given minuscule, filer roles and it felt like Aisha was the main rapper. Ladida gave a certain flair and flavour that the rest of her lines didn't have and surprisingly Aisha's lines felt more recycled and fell flat for me when they were usually the best part of the song.
I do agree that E:U deserves more, much more, but we were blessed with main rapper E:U and decent line distribution E:U, so this is a step forward in my opinion, but i do get and empathise with your point. Overall, brilliant video, loved it.

Her rap in ladida was my favorite part of the song but I wanted it to be longer to be honest. Like what was said in this video it feels like they just rush her raps. She is such a fantastic rapper. I really hope she starts getting longer raps to showcase her skills but I must say ladida had a decent line distribution and the song was overall good so I'm happy for that.
E:Us role within LDD was odd- I totally get that feeling of her rap being rushed in and out of the song, but she also does the majority of the backing vocals- which is fascinating as we never actually get to hear her sing?
I like that you said that Stray Kids are basically just leaning in with their concepts because it's what I like so much about them (other than the boys themselves they're amazing; they're the only group that I'm watching vlives of rn). Like, do you see any other group making a whole song with the concept being "we're chefs!" And letting that just, work? Though, to be completely fair to me I watch a lot of dance line fancams and mostly appreciate them for their stages and how outlandish it all gets. Don't get me wrong, I eat that shit for breakfast and also adore their slower b sides and Japan releases like Slump. But let's be real I like watching pretty boys dance well it's why I'm here. [ETA: pretty boys in general is what got me into a.c.e (... rap line in Under Cover, specifically, I have no shame) but I'm very glad I did. Somehow I forgot that Favorite Boys happened this month? So I need to get back into that one. But I love them a lot]

I honestly think E:U's little "la di da di da"s after the vocal chorus is such a beautiful marriage of opposites, especially because sihyeon's voice is light in some places and mia's is dark in others. Adios and Dun Dun felt like lazily filled girl crush templates, and Ladida takes everything everglow has done and changes it just enough to make you pay attention. it's just so their own, and it doesn't force the girls to be anything they aren't, which is what I think they've needed more of in their music.

Sameee, only with the few seconds she gets to rap in every song I can clearly see why she was chosen as the main rapper of the group. Yuehua has potentially one of the best female rappers in 4th gen, but I think giving her only a 4 to 6 seconds verse doesn't allow her to showcase how good of a rapper she actually is.
It’s odd, as she is credited as a writer on La Di Da. Did she write her own section, and we need to give her time to grow, or did the parts she write get shoved to the other girls? The mystery begins...

I'm a sucker for 80s synth inspiration, it's the perfect running song, and it kept me holding my head high and saying "fuck you, I'm in control" when I was had to quit my job due to harassment. I found it at the perfect time in my life.

the appreciation in this video for all of the style & care that taemin puts into his concepts is a YES from me!!! he worked so so hard to create criminal and it shows: its a carefully crafted work of art, and an absolute masterpiece in my eyes. watching a taemin music video isnt just watching a music video, its a full-fledged Experience, and this one is no exception (in fact, i think it was probably taemin at his best, the most polished and charismatic and compelling hes ever been). honestly the only thing i disliked about criminal was how it got completely overshadowed due to being sandwiched between 2 super m songs, leaving taemin next to no room to promote or for the release to breathe, and that, of course, is no one's fault but sm's given that they were the ones who delayed his comeback again and again.
tldr taemin is amazing, criminal will most likely be my personal song of the year, its perfection

Your point on Lovelyz is interesting, as a couple of my favorite things about K-Pop are the songs written for so many different voices, and how much gets accomplished within 3-4 minutes. I often listen to a song and will look at the timer and be shocked that what seemed like a whole universe was just 2 minutes and we haven’t even hit the bridge yet. I agree that this lays bare how difficult making that magic is, and how it unfortunately doesn’t always work, tho I definitely give points for effort.
As an Orbit tho, I have to say that while I totally get where you’re coming from in the comparison to early B-Sides, I feel like this has a lot of similar elements on paper, but the details are more predictable here, whereas Loona (to me) more often than not feels complex yet organic, if that makes any sense. (Re-listening to this I am actually thinking this does kinda sound like a bit of a cut-and-paste from like 4 different early Loona songs so.... well said!)
I hadn’t heard VAV’s song but when you said “grieving futurism” I IMMEDIATELY checked it out. One thing right off the bat that I loved was the meter. A lot of groups will occasionally play with triplets over a 4/4 time signature, this however sounds like 4/4 at first, but the pulse underneath is a speedy 6/8. This gives them a LOT of room, as they can go a slow 4 up to a slow 6 up to a fast 4 up to a fast 6, all without breaking tempo. All of the raps play with this quite well, and the delivery is that of artists who understand what’s happening and not just winging it over a beat. This all lets them build that sort of desperate tension in the verses and then just level everything with the long/slow feel of the chorus. And I love how the last chorus is sung just once, no repeat, making it more of a statement than just an obvious end to a song. Grieving futurism, indeed.
I didn’t even know Treasure had a second song out yet, but you’re right on the money, though I am reticent to get my hopes up. After all, that’s YG in a nutshell, wonderful artists, high production, lots of pomp and pizzazz, all chained to a bank vault, with YG sitting alone in it with his stupid hat on.
Also! Your thoughts on bands reminded me... have you checked out Se So Neon (새소년)? They are just magical mood music that will make you laugh just as easily as they make your heart burst. If not, give em a whirl!
And as far as CLC goes, weren’t we just talking about syllabic design in multi-language formats? This time, we have a success. Silly as it may be. (Though the word “Pilot”, just phonetically, always bugs me for some reason in this song.)
Everglow is killing it, I am so in love with their 80s synth rock approach, I am so glad E:U is being allowed to co-write again (tho not to a hugely satisfying degree). This whole release is gorgeous, they are becoming one of the most well rounded groups out there. And thank you for mentioning Player, because that song absolutely owns. I feel like with a few minor changes it could literally be a Nine Inch Nails song, which is just fascinating, and the chordal shift with the final chorus is Einstein level brilliant.

I've had less time with my Kpop playlist this last month, due to work, not being on Monster Hunter World or Destiny 2 as much, as well as falling into a whole chunk of Troy Sivan. Yet when I have dived in I've heard a lot of groups I wasn't familiar with creating flawed, brash, ambitious pop .. and I love it. You described the odd slices of this as Alien, and I agree wholeheartedly.
Couldn't help but giggle at the CLC section. It's not a favourite song,. but it exists in my head a lot. I hadn't factored in the 'make hella noise for the take off', but now that's in the mix, I don't see that shifting.

If you haven't heard a ton from KNK, I would seriously recommend checking them out! They are so unknown by many kpop fans, but I love them/ their sound sooooo much. Sunset is truly a bop, and it feels like a vogueing/ model/ aesthetically-pleasing wonderland. It is truly one of my favorite kpop songs of all time, and their MV for it only has like 1.4 million views??? I honestly think you would really like Sunset.
I also especially love Knock, Back Again, U, Rain- I describe their music kind of like.... kinda sad but kinda upbeat, vocally beautiful, sound like movie soundtrack sounds almost (but like in a good way).
I'm so surprised they haven't blown up yet from their amazing choreos and vocals. Like Rain??? It will be my favorite song forever
Knk is so underrated, but I feel like they’ve been picking up a bit since sunset and ride was a great continuation of that. They’ve been working for almost 5 years now and I don’t know how old the members are, but if they have 2 years or so left before military and continue with comebacks like these songs, they might still get their big break before enlisting. As a Cheshire, I have to say that while I loved Helicopter, it was very generic and typical girl crush. Not even NO or Black Dress were this generic. I did not like the MV because it was actually underwhelming and I’m afraid CLC’s MVs tend to be that way and always will be. While it does seem to be a bit better than their other MV’s, it was still pretty bad and basic.
It’s unbelievable how their sister group gets two comebacks, one being an album while CLC gets a single. Just a single. It hurts seeing your group not being treated fairly.
Its a great review with amazing vocabulary as always, but please take care of your voice. Don't force yourself to do things if you're not okay and I think most people in this community will be happy with that. ^_^

I agree! La Di Da was by far my favorite comeback of the month. It really surprised me when it came out that Everglow finally leaned towards something more fresh than what they've repeated over and over. I've had the song on repeat since it's release and I find it insanely delightful. It really highlights each of the member's abilities in the best way.

SM did Taemin dirty like they gave SuperM a comeback/prerelease at the same time, so his comeback got overshadowed and didn’t get promoted the way the king deserves
it barely got promoted because sm would rather focus on superm :( no magazine covers, no interviews, no press releases, no tv show appearances, just the bare minimum music show performances. it’s a crying shame because he worked on this album for years and imo it’s his best release

That was a lot of songs! Lol! The Stealer and La Di Da are the only ones from this list I'm still listening to. The Boyz have slowly been charming me and I'm glad I finally have an Everglow song that I enjoyed more than a week. I really wish the subject was different for La Di Da, something a bit melodramatic and campy... like the 80's was.
Back Door is a delight but I never playlist Stray Kidz songs, I only find them entertaining paired with the M/V. Still works I guess.

MERA! I have been waiting to hear your opinion on TREASURE for months and i can't even tell you how excited and thrilled I am that you loved their second single! I hate that i love another YG group, but I can't help it. This group has so much amazing chemistry, and their pre-debut show Treasure Map really made me fall in love with the members. PLUS they've been feeding us so well with loads of behind the scenes content.

I'm not a lot kpop listener (only CLC and some Twice songs) but i love your videos and opinions about songs etc. After the video i checked Everglow's songs, it was so cool, that sound it so great. Also Mamamoo's songs chorus is my favorite, those funky bass line is so great and it perfectly suits the girls voices. I'm not a fan of edm, dubstep etc. so it's great to hear real instruments in a pop songs.

As to your point about La Di Da using its own elements and tweaking them throughout the song- that's why I loved Bon Bon Chocolat so much. That song has a deep bassline that changes through the choruses and a melancholic tone that builds up just to it. It's subtle but once you know it's there, it just kind of wraps around the whole melody and blows you away. My favorite kpop song of all time, and a huge reason why I loved seeing them go back to that sound. It's such a small characteristic but I would love to see this become a hallmark of their music. It makes me really appreciate the producers they work with. They have their shit figured out.

Ahhh!!! Omg you will not be disappointed!! I got into them after seeing their busking performances and just WOW that hunger, that energy is still prominent in all their performances.. I can’t believe how they sing live (I am a real stickler for groups singing live) and still dance how they do. Donghun’s voice can make me cry, Chan and Jun’s voices are so beautiful and strong as well. The way BK performs is just incredible and Sehyoon is just perfect too. Seriously watch their lives first (their MVs are so so imo, as they come from a small company (it’s literally just them) and don’t have much of a budget) and their vocal covers. The fans, Choices, always say that there are five main dancers and five main vocalists.. and yeah I couldn’t tell who was who when I first watched them! Enjoy and welcome!!! ☺️
I love your La Di Da section because you voiced everything I've felt about Everglow. I absolutely LOVED their debut and E:U stood out so much to me in that song and I was excited about what Everglow could be, and then their next two title tracks disappointed me. I absolutely love La Di Da and I'm hoping from here Everglow can get me excited again.

I think clc’s lyrics seem cringe until you realize they were chosen purposefully to make a statement, does not mean they’re not cringe but it shows a very fierce sincerity and genuine emotion and frustration that only chesires and clc can understand. I think this cb was a debut, a way for cube to show off clc’s talent, charisma and hard work. CLC are the most uniquely self-made group, I think cube needs to trust them more. I also view this cb as clc reassuring chesires, we’re a small fandom but clc constantly and when I mean constantly I mean EVERY SINGLE DAY!!! Show us how much they love us. They’re always apologizing to fans for their lack of music or performances and I think helicopter was a promise of more.
I am heavily biased but it was my fav cb of the month. Is it the best song they’ve ever released? Not at all, but it’s the cb where All their anger and frustration of the past year were converted into charisma and improvement. I missed clc, now I want more. Clc should take a well deserved break but cube better not fuck up this time this might be their last chance to finally be successful

Usually I'm good at knowing how to describe feelings and emotions in art, but with music I have more difficulty. I can never put my finger on it, but hearing your explanations helps me figure out what I'm trying to pinpoint. I felt the same way as you for DUN DUN and Adios, and I didn't know why I felt they (and other songs that sound similar to them) were lacking something. And now I understand what I was feeling! I appreciate you helping me not be so confused!
Also La Di Da was the best for me too, certain songs just have this sensation of giving you something you didn't even know you needed.
