Flash warning for 8:00! If you guys have seen my community post, you’ll know that I’m taking a break for the time being. I’ll see if there are shorter videos to upload here and there, but I need to take some time off. Please take care of yourselves, and I’ll be back soon!
i haven't listened to most of them yet (have listened to ponzona, after school, lilac, feel good, unnatural, kick back, run, warning, scaredy cat, i'm real (ew), bambi) but yes i watched it too
I feel like this is a kinda of crazy idea, but considering Iz*one is going to disband by the end of this month, I think it’d be so cool if Mera did a video looking back at their discography and their impact on their kpop world, like an Iz*one rewind. Maybe I’m insane, as a Wiz*one, I’d love to see it and I feel like it would be a fun video to make, just going to throw it out their. Thanks for the great video :p

I was really hyped for it and have been following PK for a while but sadly Ponzona just wasn't for me :( Maybe their next release will be more my style though edit: I'd like to add that the music video was sooooo beautiful and I wanna see more of it
I thought it was such a great debut title track. Skip Skip is the real gem of that album though IMO, it’s so simple but it’s so damn effortless and catchy. They pull it off perfectly. The song and how they distribute their vocals genuinely brought me back to SNSD days for a bit.
It almost has 20 millions views. That is actually insane for a rookie group that's not from the big 3. They are just below the usual views of groups like CLC and Dreamcatcher. Both of these groups are actually really popular so yeah. They are not being overlooked
@@Faeriiexx I'm so proud of them all for doing so well. I've watched all their stages, which I can only say about one other group, and they were all beautiful and full of talent
FINALLLLYYY!!! Finally someone who included Purple Kiss's Ponzona. I watched like 3-4 videos before this one and no one even talked about Purple Kiss like they didn't even existed... I really love you a lot now Mera!! I swear you are amazing! The way you described Ponzona was the exact way how I was thinking about it... Thank You so so much Mera! Love You!!
Purple kiss on BLOODY TOP!!! Absolute favorite debut. You phrased everything I loved about the song so well. im so excited for another album already!!!!
Unnatural and After school definitely made me release how much I love Kpop especially as I’ve been fading out of it recently. For me a good year in Kpop and music as a whole normally starts with a exciting comeback and while there have been songs I’ve enjoyed there has been nothing that’s really pulled me into this year and I’m glad that it was Wjsns and Weeeklys comebacks that did so
Huge, huge thank you for including Sorn!! Love her, lovvvve the song, and despise cube, ohhhhgod, despise cube so much. Whenever I think they can't possibly manage their groups - and CLC in particular - any worse, they find a new low. Just. Wow.
Do or not is just absolutely amazing. Hui wrote it back in January, after his enlistment was delayed. It’s just so cute and never gets old no matter how much I listen to it.
Because I had other songs on my mind, I skipped Ponzoña for most of March on my playlist, but I've been rediscovering it in the past few days and I'm obsessed. I don't have the technical vocabulary to put it properly into words, but I love how PURPLE KISS has found a way to deliver a song that could have easily belonged to the Dreamcatcher discography (and videography), but found a vocal style that is more, to me, in the neighborhood of Blackpink's honey vocals (maybe Rosé's releases have played a part in how I appreciate it differently) with sprinkles of G-IDLE on top ; hadn't thought of the parallel with IZ*ONE (despite this group being what drew me back to Kpop), but it's an amazing comparison. I think Swan does a lot of the heavy lifting here, but not exclusively, and it's so appealing how the group finds a spot in the landscape so early in their life. I still don't care much for Can We Talk Again, as someone who naturally doesn't listen to a lot of ballads, but I find myself going back to My Heart Skip a Beat, and it makes a lot more sense to me that a group could have "pre-debut releases" when you see the 'evolution'. There's already something of a trajectory. So your video was perfectly timely (though I'd been anticipating for several days, I wasn't into Ponzoña earlier this month) and I was so happy to see you enthused about this song. And sure, you talked about a lot of others, but, yeah.
i'm gonna be honest , i have to say that my favorite comeback this month is Do or Not by Pentagon. at first i wasn't too sure maybe because it felt a bit too high school musical for me but i caught myself waking up in the morning and being like " i need pentagon do or not to help me start the day". and just kept listening to it to help me get into form everyday. Hui puts kind of a pinch of strength into his voice in the chorus and it just GOES BOOM , followed by hongseok's sweeter voice felt so satisfying , that little part at the end of his part in the chorus where he just goes "nanaNANAnaaaa" LIKE HOLYSHIT IS IT NICE TO HEAR. so yeah this song is a banger and it IS ABSOLUTELY WITH NO DOUBT going on the volleyball playlist.
Oh, I'm so happy you included love%!! I feel like this song wasn't on many people's radars and it super deserves to have been noticed more, it's great!
Mera PLEASE listen to Skip Skip off’ the Ponzona mini album. I am so curious to know how you like it. It’s a perfect song for me and reminds me of the effortless, catchy b-sides SNSD used to release. It’s a shame they didn’t promote it despite performing it and having a dance and all that.
Weeekly is the GG we all need right now. They just make me feel so cozy! I love all the girl crush and dark concepts but the colorful cheerful pop Weeekly brings just lifts me. Great video as always!
this is my third comment on this video; apologies, but I really loved that Ponzona being the darker version of La Vie En Rose comparison! I can totally see that, and have never looked at it like that, and it'd make it easier for me to recommend songs to people, so thank you!
ok seriously this is my favorite kpop review channel atm, I love how efficient and detailed mera's reviews are and I'm always looking forward to the beginning of the month for this lol
Since I see the thumbnail, I would like to add that I love Sejeong’s song ‘Warning’. It felt like someone has hugging me, telling me everything is okay
as a BB (DKB fandom) I was really really glad to see them included in the review ! ngl i jumped out of my chair hearing all in play cause I didnt believe it lol. I've actually been really hoping that youd include them in one of these cause that to me is knowing that they've reached some recognition. So thank you ! alot alot !
My favourite release this month would have to be Coin by IU, I mean, yes, it may be about gambling, but that *rap part* . Honestly, the amount of attitude that holds, and the lines 'worth more than jewels' and 'no kids zone', the rhythmic and tones used in them, honestly chefs kiss worthy. I also fell in love with the aesthetics of the mv! IU in that tomboy-ish style high-key suits her, and I also liked the more toned down colours, but a pop of colour here and there (and ofc I loved the celebrity who's-name-i-cant-remember and the fact he featured!). I also loved how they included that sound effect of a coin going into a machine, not only in the mv for aesthetic purposes, but also in the official soundtrack on apps like Spotify etc etc. Adding onto the notes I made earlier about the actual song and the lyrics, the part where it goes 'I move, I move, I move, I move, I move, go ahead' etc etc, it just gives you energy (?) The bouncy beat, that just makes you want to jump to the side along with it. Honestly, for a person who can never make up her mind about anything, I know *for sure* that this is going to be one of my favourite songs for a long time.
Loved Coin too!!! For all the reasons you mentioned! It's not about gambling though. The song is about her addiction to her work. When she works on a project whether it's music or acting she goes "all in" and she's worked hard in the industry no matter what cards life has dealt her. She's gambled in her career by taking risks from her auditions to the types of music she creates and the acting gigs she's picked up. But she's succeeded because of her hard work. The actual gambling in the MV is a metaphor for that
@@romanii1368 for me I think they’re not underrated, but under appreciated. Their debut literally was one the most popular debuts in 2020. But I guess this year you could say they’re underrated.
Overall I really loved WJSN's Unnatural, but tbh I miss when their concepts and MVs were at least a little bit more complex. Like, I'm not saying they always have to pull through something like Save Me, Save You or As You Wish, but I still really really miss it and I feel like this time the MV was just glam, pretty, polished imagery with no substance. Granted, I might've missed something, or it might just be my personal taste, idk.
we share the same opinion !! i felt like Unnatural MV made no sense it was pretty but it had no storyline just pretty shots after pretty shots Since Unnatural is their first comeback with this mature concept i hope the mvs and the songs are gonna get better with time
From dreams come true until LA LA love... THEY as in singers and dancers had their uniqueness and magical color.. But after that they lost it.. And I couldn't tell why until now.. Like I'm still listening it (and new me) all the time but half the time randomly hear Panorama and end up trying my best to make the dance fit
march is over? what?! also after watching it for sometime when it came to Buzz, I hadn't heard analogue before, but I went and watched it and loved it a lot probably one of the best songs/comeback from march, but that's also because I slept through March before that Lilac was probably my favourite it sounded so fresh and pretty!
My March favorites = Pentagon whole love and take album Ateez fireworks and celebrate Magnetic rainft jackson Iu flu coin lilac Purple kiss ponzona, can we talk again and skip skip The box soundtrack Baekhyun bambi and cry for love Love% demianft. Dawn Seori lovers in the night Park bom do re mi
im so glad you loved after school and do or not bc they were also my favs of march, after school has a startling yet not unwelcomed nostalgic presence to it ( if that makes sense in the slightest) and i cannot not get enough of it! And do or not is just that bitch!
Ever since I saw the webtoon teasers for do or not I thought of your playlist so glad to see it's actually going there! Thank you for encapsulating why I love this song so much
My favorite comeback of March is Baekhyun, Woodz, Pentagon, Sorn, Weeekly and WJSN. I was about to write Hoshi, however I realized that it's an april comeback, also the song you included, but didn't write any information about, freaked me out!
OMG when you speak I have to stop what I'm doing and just sit there and listen. If I'm driving I have to pull over. You always get my full attention. You're sosososososoooo beautiful. Your attention to detail is so overwhelmingly distinct. You make me cry everytime with this lyrical enchant you create from something already created. It is surrealistic your way with words. You are on top of the world and it only gets better from here!
I say this under every Mera video. The way she talks is enticing like a well put-together performance - her language reinforces every review and boosts the sense of sincerity! Well done Mera ☺️
spit it out was pretty bad and half the comments is everyone convincing themselves it wasn't LMAO. ALSO i 100% agree with what you said about the last chorus!! its what i thought as well when i first listened. MAJORS are having a comeback tomorrow april 16! hopefully its a better release
verivery have been one of my ults for over a year now and i am just so in love with their variety and diversity in their discography ! every comeback is something different and i've loved all of them
I can't keep up with rookie groups or comebacks anymore, so I really enjoy these monthly reviews as they help me keep up and find new music, I'm really stuck in my ult bubble now that I'm older. This made me realized I missed ALOT last month and I'm excited to expand my yearly kpop playlist. I just love and ADORE WEEKLY, their debut song was so CATCHY and I LOVED this comeback. I like Ghost9 as a boyband name and I listened to their debut song but didn't like it but their comeback song might be to my tastes. And Oh T149, I follow them cause I like Momoland but I have yet to like a song from them, but I love their 2nd/edge of 3rd gen kpop aesthetic. Their new MV is giving me vibes of BTS's older MVs as well.
Loved this review! My favourite release was Ponzona by far, I'd already been interested in Purple Kiss before, but this made me full on stan! I'm the one wasn't my favourite Ateez title by far, but Take me home was so amazing. PS: love the Bbuseo appreciation in the intro!
I hesitate a lot in terms of knowing n listening to more groups thinking would it be worth it if I give it a go but what I waste my time n all these but watching your channel really makes me wanna explore more n find the style, meaning behind these songs. I THANK YOU FOR DOING THESE VIDEOS N EXPLANATIONS!!!
my favorites are 1. lovemonth - yukika 2. new me - wjsn 3. coin - iu 4. lilac - iu 5. blood night - g-reyish 6. super moon - wjsn 7. unnatural - wjsn 8. ponzona - purple kiss 9. after school - weeekly 10. what type of x - jessi also i love this video sooo much thank you for your hard work :)
I’m so happy seeing how Weeekly is evolving and so glad seeing everyone loving ‘After School’ and finding Weeekly! I hope Weeekly continues to grow and succeed! Let’s get that first win soon!
I've been writing down my reviews of some of the comebacks this year, and when I got to the part of this video that talked about Unnatural I said out loud "that's what I said"- I wrote down almost the exact same thing that you said about the producers knowing the prechorus/"how can I breathe now now now" was the best part of the song. Great minds think alike (although I doubt I'm a great mind), I guess. I also really liked Ponzona and was glad to see someone appreciate it!
you really make me want to check out at least half of the songs you were talking about i like the combo of your very creative and beautiful descriptive wording and a short audio snippet so i can get a feel for the song. and then i open another tab and i'll deffo do a 'new music session' when i am done with this video :D
any MERA video notification i darenot to miss it always looking for her detailed explanation and in turn learning something new from her truly admire mera💓💓
March was such a good month! DEMIAN Love% was perfection. I liked Scaredy cat but So beautiful is honestly a masterpeace. Add Bloo story by BLOO and Action figure by WayV and you got my obsessions' songs of the month!
this comment got so long and I truly don’t know how it happened but now I have to post it because I spent so long writing it all out Seoul, GHOST9 (0:42) - I love and adore this comeback from GHOST9 but then I also simply. love and adore GHOST9, so my enjoyment of this song wasn’t a shock. Dongjun/Taeseung’s bridge was my favorite part of the song - I liked the way their voices floated over the whistling-wind, kinda spirally electro sounds - it felt like standing on a roof and looking at the night skyline. I was a little amused that as a whole the song kinda sounds like a promotional advert soundtrack for Seoul tourism though. Why Why Why, iKON (1:43) - I think for me the best part of this song was iKON’s voices, particularly Junhoe’s. The scrape in it in the second part of the first chorus added important anguish and depth to the overall sound, and stood in excellent contrast to Jinhwan’s in the first part of it - it kind of had the same effect as Everglow’s La Di Da, where Sihyeon sings the first set of chorus lines and Mia has the second - I think you said she warps it? Can’t quite remember. anyways, I liked why why why a lot too Get Away, VERIVERY (3:05) - one of the things I really liked about Get Away was the way it played with rhyme. idk what section to call this, but Yongseung’s first lines are “tell me what you wanna do” but then his next line ends in “play”, where I thought the songwriters would rhyme with do, but play is nowhere near that. The melody line there isn’t particularly complex, so for the rhyme to be non-existent there gave me the feeling of “something isn’t right here”, like when a character walks into a trap and they put the pieces of it together right before it snaps on them. I thought it added really clever narrative structure. Also, there’s an interesting sense or regret in the song - it almost feels like they’re trying to warn you not to make their mistakes as you play out whatever plot they’re living. 5:25 - I LIKE YOUR FUNKY BEATS MAGIC MEN!!!! Amazing You, Checkmate (8:01) - I’m really rooting for Checkmate (more coed groups!!!), so I hope their company puts time and effort into developing real identity for them beyond “KARD pt. 2 electric boogaloo” 9:09 - OH NO LMAO Kick Back, WAYV (11:43) - I think Action Figure should have been their title track. I definitely haven’t sought out Kick Back to listen to after a cursory M/V watch, but I have gone looking for action figure. That song is catchy as hell, and imo it’s classic and fun NCT bombast done well. Bad Habits, CRAVITY (13:25) - to me every CRAVITY comeback seems to be “nebulous masculinity in a slightly different setting”, which is kind of something I get frustrated by with MONSTA X as well, so I kind of wonder if it’s a Starship thing to just have their male artists’ concepts be “masculinity slightly updated to reflect the perceived preferences of the fan demographic”. I feel like CRAVITY could run miles with a framework or theme like Cosmic Girls’, and I hope they get something like that to work with and dabble in more storytelling and narrative stuff. They’re so talented and imo deserve more to work with than My Turn level material I’m The One, ATEEZ (14:40) - the ATEEZ members are the best part of this comeback imo - they made me pay attention and they’re all such riveting performers. It kind of feels like their music is a little stunned by how far they’ve come and how quickly they’re growing as artists. Like what you said about How You Like That, I feel like I’m The One kinda puts ATEEZ back in a box that they’ve outgrown, though maybe not quite as obviously as HYLT. I really miss hungry, envelope-shredding ATEEZ, and I hope we hear from them soon. Run, Sorn (19:39) - Sorn’s voice sounds so bright, and it sucks that her moment was derailed by “CUBE strikes again”. goddamnit. 20:41 - ABSOLUTELY NOT, THANK YOU AND GOODNIGHT Lilac, IU (21:43) - IU!!!!! She’s So Cool. I like coin more than lilac, personally, but they’re both really good, and I agree with everything you said about the song. Unnatural, WJSN (22:44) - I loved this comeback and I’m so excited about it - I really just find it so satisfying. I think part of the problem in the chorus might be the lyrics. really is a clunky word and unnatural has more syllables than I feel like it should have, so in combination it sounds extra obvious and difficult to spit out at high speeds. Props to them for making it sound as smooth as possible and also for singing the chorus with solid support - I feel like it could have tipped over into pitchy or shrieky or grating but it didn’t and that is an absolute credit to the members and their vocal skills Feel Like, WOODZ (24:17) - WOODZ!!! he really can do any concept but personally I’m in love with the way this, Trigger, and Love Me Harder have elements of a western, both sonically and conceptually. however, I also adore his entire discography. If you haven’t gone running through the rain listening to Bump Bump, I highly recommend it. I really liked how bare the chorus of this song is - he lets the electric guitar speak for itself and conveys a lot of feeling without needing to pack in tons of sonic elements, which I think is really neat Ponzona, Purple Kiss (25:05) - I didn’t like Ponzona at first, but it definitely has grown on me with repeated listens. The music video commits to the BIT and I love that about it. After School, Weeekly (26:20) - on loop since I first heard it, idk what’s in this song but it’s so catchy and fun!!! Jiyoon’s rap section is so charming, and I like that within this song and music video, the members’ individual personalities shine through, from chill to chic to bubbly to girl-next-door friendly. Do Or Not, Pentagon (28:09) - SO GOOD. There’s something about this era that emphasizes just how tall Wooseok is and I don’t know what it is but he’s valid. everything you said is absolutely correct and it’s been said a million times but your vocabulary is spectacular - your videos are always a joy to listen to and I really appreciate the precision of your word choice. Anyways, Pentagon - The pink suits are literally perfect and the whole thing is such a serotonin boost but I keep coming back to the live stages - they’re so much fun. I’m not sure when this comment got so goddamn long. I always feel like March as a month goes on for an unrealistic amount of time, though, so maybe that’s poking through here. this video and your analysis was incredible as always and I hope you get good rest and eat good snacks on your time away!!! p.s. edited bc I saw a typo
Thank you--I always love your monthly reviews. You introduce so many groups and comebacks that I somehow missed! Also, I'm so glad you love Do Or Not--Pentagon joined my stan list this year, then Do Or Not moved them to my ult list. This group is amazing, and Do Or Not is my favorite comeback of the year so far! Also, Do Or Not is the BEST song to blast in your car and shout at the top of your lungs while stuck in traffic!
do or not was undoubtedly the best comeback of the month for me, and maybe even of the year so far !! it had so much fun and joy about it, and it reminded why i even love kpop in the first place; because it makes me happy. and this is exactly what do or not does, pentagon as a group never disappoint honestly. this song got me to stan them again and i'm so thankful for that, because they are just the loveliest guys in the whole universe (hehe
I'm so happy seeing DPR IAN get the attention he deserves. MITO is one of those albums where I'm in love with every single song and it's the best album so far this year (for me). Love that.
PLS finally someone mentions woodz! his music is literally so so so SO good my god mera your taste- so happy you're liking his works so far! also YES after school is absolute perfection! warning is quite good as well. i rly like the message behind it!
I love mushrooms! The way you describe food is just as amazing as you describe music haha. You make me want to listen to every song you talk about and try every food you talk about. :)
Always love your analysis, Mera! My favorite March MV releases: IU - Coin & Lilac Baekhyn - Bambi Ikon - Why why why DPR Ian - Scaredy Cat Purple Kiss - Ponzona They were amazing in my opinion.
I agree about Majors!!! Such good song but the final part is the part that kept me repeatedly hear this song. I wish they will sprinkle that backup vocals and sound during ‘spit it out’ chorus ahhhhh 🥺🔥🔥🔥
bro MARCH HIT DIFFERENT FOR REAL!!! My favourites were Lilac, Midzy, Unnatural, Don't Call Me, After School and House Party. Ponzona was good too but I preferred Can We Talk Again personally ^^'
"A few sandwiches short of a picnic" is such a brilliant line. For me, my favourite song was "Unnatural" by a landslide. And next in line is Ponzona - it scratches an itch for me.
Your videos are always so well made Mera, I really like the way you talk about everything. As for the songs I can agree that Ateez's new song is not my style. It sounds...fine I guess but I prefer what they did before. Pirate Ateez is more my style than angsty teenagers time jumping with the use of a hourglass
i love how i either strongly agree or fully disagree with mera’s thoughts and opinions, that gives another view on kpop and reassurance at the same time :>
march sucked a lot for me and it felt like it was endless but after school was the best thing that happened to me all month. weeekly is just the serotonin i need in this moment, theyre such a breath of fresh air! since ive fallen in love with seventeen in the span of the last six to eight months, i tend to relate them to everything in my life. so one thing that makes me love weeekly a lot is that they remind me of their early years, and i appreciate it a lot that while i wasnt there to live seventeen's first years into their career now i have a girl group that gives me the same feeling i get when i listen to their early stuff. its all so youthful, heartwarming and nostalgic and it gets me right in my feelings. im a big fan of ateez so i really liked their title track though i agree with you its not for everybody, but i honestly think the true gem of their comeback is their bside take me home which they released in both korean and english. i have emotional attachment to that song, its really a masterpiece and it became one of my absolute favorite ateez tracks. also, im a little bit obsessed with feel like by woodz and i already made a playlist around it and hoshi's spider (which im very excited to hear your opinion about!). the electric guitar and his voice elongating the notes in the chorus are so addictive, also the way he pronounces some of the words is so sexy??? its just sexy all over! and i really enjoy it! we need more of it honestly. i loved this video and i realized i missed so many comebacks that im now going to check out so thank you for that
you literaaly get me so hyped about comeback i didnt even like at first listen. always after your videos i just watch random mv's metioned in your video and it just makes me feel so happy :) keep up the good work and see you next month!
Flash warning for 8:00!

"Cravity is back baby, and instead of dancing at the car dealership, they moved to the parking garage" i laughed so hard at this! LMAO

Have I listened to any new releases in March? No.
Am I still watching to listen to mera talk? Absolutely.

Saaaame hahaha I always thinking like wait do I know any new songs from March ? Hmm nah
Why haven't you listened to "Ponzoña", "After School" or "Unnatural"..sorry no excuse.
@@floverdan5180 since when is it a requirement sheesh
unnatural ? run ? lilac ? afterschool ?
i haven't listened to most of them yet (have listened to ponzona, after school, lilac, feel good, unnatural, kick back, run, warning, scaredy cat, i'm real (ew), bambi) but yes i watched it too
tbh, no matter how much I like the song, the way baekhyun sings the word 'bambi' in the chorus is so funny to me that I can't take it seriously
IT'S SO FUNNY

I literally can't take this song seriously arghh
giving me very ... bÂmbĪ

Yess finally someone appreciates Ponzona! The song's been so overlooked I couldn't stand it, but I just knew Mera would not let that slide
I was really hyped for it and have been following PK for a while but sadly Ponzona just wasn't for me :(
Maybe their next release will be more my style though
edit: I'd like to add that the music video was sooooo beautiful and I wanna see more of it
I thought it was such a great debut title track.
@@lisaeon9927 YESS skip skip is a gem indeed - it just seems like with each segment it gets better and better I love that song
@@Faeriiexx I'm so proud of them all for doing so well. I've watched all their stages, which I can only say about one other group, and they were all beautiful and full of talent
A half an hour video from mera is enough to make my day better.
I'm supposed to be working but wtf is work, MERA IS BACK, THAT’S ALL THAT MATTERS!!
30 minutes of Mera's voice, yeah that's perfect ✨
I love how in a Mera video before watch it I immediately check the description cause know which snack she had is also very important
I am so so hyped about Purple Kiss and I cannot wait to see where they go from here. This debut was exactly what I was hoping for from them.
ok seriously this is my favorite kpop review channel atm, I love how efficient and detailed mera's reviews are and I'm always looking forward to the beginning of the month for this lol
The actual gambling in the MV is a metaphor for that
@@MyahWorld Wow what a great explanation, that makes me love the song even more, thanks!
@@MyahWorld ah thank you! sorry my TH-cam notifications are basicslly broken, so I've only just found this now 😅
As someone who has now stanned MCND for almost a year (apr 17) I’m so happy to hear you’re enjoying MCND and their money!
Yes!! MCND is so underrrated. They are a lot of fun, charisma and talent! Love MCND! :3
Granted, I might've missed something, or it might just be my personal taste, idk.
we share the same opinion !! i felt like Unnatural MV made no sense it was pretty but it had no storyline just pretty shots after pretty shots
Since Unnatural is their first comeback with this mature concept i hope the mvs and the songs are gonna get better with time
hadn't realized this was bothering me till you articulated it, but big agree
From dreams come true until LA LA love... THEY as in singers and dancers had their uniqueness and magical color.. But after that they lost it.. And I couldn't tell why until now.. Like I'm still listening it (and new me) all the time but half the time randomly hear Panorama and end up trying my best to make the dance fit
@@JW-ck9gr I don’t thinks that’s why I think it’s because of the subunits
Waiting for your May review queen. Please bless us. We’re all rooting for you. And take your time if you need to.

iu's 'lilac' just hit different! i am loving hearing your opinions on songs i like and hearing you describe them as genres i enjoy lol
I cant wait for this high-quality review as always
I clear out my schedule, get cozied up in my bed and then I watch mera's videos cuz at that moment, she is all that's on my mind
march is over?
what?!
also after watching it for sometime when it came to Buzz, I hadn't heard analogue before, but I went and watched it and loved it a lot probably one of the best songs/comeback from march, but that's also because I slept through March before that Lilac was probably my favourite it sounded so fresh and pretty!
My March favorites =
Pentagon whole love and take album
Ateez fireworks and celebrate
Magnetic rainft jackson
Iu flu coin lilac
Purple kiss ponzona, can we talk again and skip skip
The box soundtrack
Baekhyun bambi and cry for love
Love% demianft. Dawn
Seori lovers in the night
Park bom do re mi
ooo yes Magnetic was so good--I'm still obsessed with the MV. So simple yet clever
im so glad you loved after school and do or not bc they were also my favs of march, after school has a startling yet not unwelcomed nostalgic presence to it ( if that makes sense in the slightest) and i cannot not get enough of it! And do or not is just that bitch!
Ever since I saw the webtoon teasers for do or not I thought of your playlist so glad to see it's actually going there! Thank you for encapsulating why I love this song so much
My favorite comeback of March is
Baekhyun, Woodz, Pentagon, Sorn, Weeekly and WJSN.
I am a big fan of drippin lately, I really liked their comeback, I am soooo happy that you talked about them, love u queen
MAJORS are having a comeback tomorrow april 16! hopefully its a better release
verivery have been one of my ults for over a year now and i am just so in love with their variety and diversity in their discography ! every comeback is something different and i've loved all of them
26:20: As a Monday fan, I like your taste! So glad Weeekly got featured here, and just as glad you like their music~
Yesss, thanks for acknowledging Do or Not! I've missed Pentagon and dear god did this comeback deliver. This is the quality they deserve.
my favorites are
1. lovemonth - yukika
2. new me - wjsn
3. coin - iu
4. lilac - iu
5. blood night - g-reyish
6. super moon - wjsn
7. unnatural - wjsn
8. ponzona - purple kiss
9. after school - weeekly
10. what type of x - jessi
also i love this video sooo much thank you for your hard work :)
Yukika, yes! I see you're a man of culture 💅
@@polzzza YESS i love yukika, her music is soo good. stream timeabout 😌

I’m gonna have to check out dpr Ian now! That mv is very interesting looking, excited to hear it!
you really make me want to check out at least half of the songs you were talking about
i like the combo of your very creative and beautiful descriptive wording and a short audio snippet so i can get a feel for the song. and then i open another tab and i'll deffo do a 'new music session' when i am done with this video :D
any MERA video notification i darenot to miss it
always looking for her detailed explanation and in turn learning something new from her
truly admire mera💓💓
If I hadnt randomly decided to stan wjsn right before unnatural then unnatural definitely would have dragged me in anyway it's so good
Do or not, after school and IU’s album were my favourites of March
March was such a good month!
DEMIAN Love% was perfection. I liked Scaredy cat but So beautiful is honestly a masterpeace. Add Bloo story by BLOO and Action figure by WayV and you got my obsessions' songs of the month!
Alwayss looking forward to your roundups!
this comment got so long and I truly don’t know how it happened but now I have to post it because I spent so long writing it all out
Seoul, GHOST9 (0:42) - I love and adore this comeback from GHOST9 but then I also simply. love and adore GHOST9, so my enjoyment of this song wasn’t a shock.
Can’t quite remember. anyways, I liked why why why a lot too
Get Away, VERIVERY (3:05) - one of the things I really liked about Get Away was the way it played with rhyme. idk what section to call this, but Yongseung’s first lines are “tell me what you wanna do” but then his next line ends in “play”, where I thought the songwriters would rhyme with do, but play is nowhere near that.
Amazing
You, Checkmate (8:01) - I’m really rooting for Checkmate (more coed groups!!!), so I hope their company puts time and effort into developing real identity for them beyond “KARD pt. 2 electric boogaloo”
9:09 - OH NO LMAO
Kick Back, WAYV (11:43) - I think Action Figure should have been their title track.
They’re so talented and imo deserve more to work with than My Turn level material
I’m The One, ATEEZ (14:40) - the ATEEZ members are the best part of this comeback imo - they made me pay attention and they’re all such riveting performers.
Run, Sorn (19:39) - Sorn’s voice sounds so bright, and it sucks that her moment was derailed by “CUBE strikes again”. goddamnit.
20:41 - ABSOLUTELY NOT, THANK YOU AND GOODNIGHT
Lilac, IU (21:43) - IU!!!!!
Props to them for making it sound as smooth as possible and also for singing the chorus with solid support - I feel like it could have tipped over into pitchy or shrieky or grating but it didn’t and that is an absolute credit to the members and their vocal skills
Feel Like, WOODZ (24:17) - WOODZ!!! he really can do any concept but personally I’m in love with the way this, Trigger, and Love Me Harder have elements of a western, both sonically and conceptually. however, I also adore his entire discography. If you haven’t gone running through the rain listening to Bump Bump, I highly recommend it. I really liked how bare the chorus of this song is - he lets the electric guitar speak for itself and conveys a lot of feeling without needing to pack in tons of sonic elements, which I think is really neat
Ponzona, Purple Kiss (25:05) - I didn’t like Ponzona at first, but it definitely has grown on me with repeated listens.
This couldn’t be more true, I swear I’ll look back at all these songs and go
Damn, that’s a banger
do or not was undoubtedly the best comeback of the month for me, and maybe even of the year so far !! it had so much fun and joy about it, and it reminded why i even love kpop in the first place; because it makes me happy. and this is exactly what do or not does, pentagon as a group never disappoint honestly. this song got me to stan them again and i'm so thankful for that, because they are just the loveliest guys in the whole universe (hehe
4:52 Yess!! Mera starting to stan MCND is what I needed this year! :D

I’m an iKONIC and they way you described Why Why Why have me goosebumps. I absolutely love the song...It leaves a lingering ache in my heart.
I think one of my favorite things about your videos is all the obscure language you use it’s very humorous and I love it
Spit It Out is an unfinished project, a really good starting point for a banger but it needed more to shine properly
Yay! So glad you reviewed this month! I felt like it was a bit lacking, so thanks for highlighting some gems for me!! 😄
Yay! I have been checking every day since March began and It's here. I loved it as always.

My favorite March MV releases:
IU - Coin & Lilac
Baekhyn - Bambi

DPR Ian - Scaredy Cat
Purple Kiss - Ponzona
They were amazing in my opinion.

I agree about Majors!!! Such good song but the final part is the part that kept me repeatedly hear this song. I wish they will sprinkle that backup vocals and sound during ‘spit it out’ chorus ahhhhh 🥺🔥🔥🔥
After School going into my favorite comebacks of this year + going to stan them 😍
G-REYISH's comeback was my fav, I waited 4 years for that mini album!!
yess i love blood night so much

My favourites were Lilac, Midzy, Unnatural, Don't Call Me, After School and House Party. Ponzona was good too but I preferred Can We Talk Again personally ^^'
MONDAY FROM WEEEKLY IS AN ACE AND THE FUNNIEST LITTLE THING
"A few sandwiches short of a picnic" is such a brilliant line.
For me, my favourite song was "Unnatural" by a landslide. And next in line is Ponzona - it scratches an itch for me.
warning is SO good i love it sejeong never stops releasing good music
Thanks for the long video! I get so excited every time I see another video from Mera; it always makes my day!
absolutely the best way to spend my study break
Your videos are always so well made Mera, I really like the way you talk about everything.
As for the songs I can agree that Ateez's new song is not my style. It sounds...fine I guess but I prefer what they did before. Pirate Ateez is more my style than angsty teenagers time jumping with the use of a hourglass
i loved 'get away' so much, and its funny to hear the comparison to love shot since i love that song too! also, hope you feel better!!
how do you not have 100,000 subs especially with the talent and the views-
i love how i either strongly agree or fully disagree with mera’s thoughts and opinions, that gives another view on kpop and reassurance at the same time :>
march sucked a lot for me and it felt like it was endless but after school was the best thing that happened to me all month. weeekly is just the serotonin i need in this moment, theyre such a breath of fresh air! since ive fallen in love with seventeen in the span of the last six to eight months, i tend to relate them to everything in my life. so one thing that makes me love weeekly a lot is that they remind me of their early years, and i appreciate it a lot that while i wasnt there to live seventeen's first years into their career now i have a girl group that gives me the same feeling i get when i listen to their early stuff. its all so youthful, heartwarming and nostalgic and it gets me right in my feelings. im a big fan of ateez so i really liked their title track though i agree with you its not for everybody, but i honestly think the true gem of their comeback is their bside take me home which they released in both korean and english. i have emotional attachment to that song, its really a masterpiece and it became one of my absolute favorite ateez tracks. also, im a little bit obsessed with feel like by woodz and i already made a playlist around it and hoshi's spider (which im very excited to hear your opinion about!). the electric guitar and his voice elongating the notes in the chorus are so addictive, also the way he pronounces some of the words is so sexy??? its just sexy all over! and i really enjoy it! we need more of it honestly. i loved this video and i realized i missed so many comebacks that im now going to check out so thank you for that
omfg you are so right about do or not going on the volleyball playlist
Fact that you know about Owl city makes me unbelievably happy for some reason. Thanks, Mera

Same! My Sea was beautiful! Did you see the IANNE featuring the song. It makes it even better
