I have this game. Graphically it's a little bad when it comes to far away distance. The cars are amazing and the handling physics in the game is spot on and really well. A ton of amazing tuners. The game is basically a mash between Tokyo Xtreme racer and Need for speed underground. Not a bad game at all but it's a rare gem that no one really talks about.

This game made a revolution about paint cutomization in race games too. Forza has the same settings to customize your own car visual with free creations like fast furious, what makes its so iconic. Favorite cars are: 180sx, chevelle ss, rx7, nsx, impreza...
Good game! It was one of my first online racing experiences. A tip for those new to the game... You’re pretty much unbeatable in either the Toyota Trueno or Levin (can’t remember which). When fully upgraded, one of the two allow a 2JZ swap and can destroy any competitor with little to no resistance.
The Toyota Trueno AE86 gets the 'TRD Formula Atlantic 4A-GE'(engine swap) so it's gonna be the Levin which gets the 2JZ engine swap, and these two cars can clear about 60%~65% of the game. in my case I had a 404 BHP, 350 Torque Trueno which I used to beat all 40 roll-up racers(NTSC, 32 for PAL), 32/80 of crew members can be defeated with this car (I beat first two members of the crew 'Sunshine Run' with this car, 100% of DailyDriven, SpeedTheNight, Team Karoshi, Velocity(Hanzo gave me some trouble), the drift crews 'Kansai' and 'Gerbil Zoo' can also be taken out with this beast with good drift control, as well as all drift tuts. Yep, this car is awesome if you know what to do with 'em. 😁😂
The sound of engine,gear,nos,story, physics,customization,songs damn so osm and graphics r great at that time they should really remake this game by graphically and adding some movie clip damn really kill street racing games 👌🏻😭🔥
My favorite cars in this Fast & Furious game are the Mazda RX-7 FC3S and the Mazda RX-7 FD3S. Both my favorite retro Japanese sports cars from the 80's and 90's. 💙

Man, I want to play this game again when I played it I was so young I remember I was building my cars and I would always get beat because the other cars were way faster and it’s because I was putting transmissions in it for acceleration instead of top speed😅
I had this on reserve through GameFly when they were just getting started. Got a 360 with GRAW and forgot about 6th gen entirely. I had been anticipating the first F&F game that was supposed to be released sometime around 2004, but all that remains is screenshots. Probably wasn't worth trying to compete with NFS and GTA San Andreas.
when i played it on the pcsx2 emulator i kept hitting invisible walls, like the road was clipping me and throwing the car around. anyone has the same problem?
