the maps look more creatively designed than ones from Unleashed, and weapons and traps are an awesome touch!! I wish the new one had these! Thanks for sharing this vintage gem of a game with us! I had no clue it existed.

Its been 17 years since the release of Hot Wheels Beat That, another underrated masterpiece PlayStation 2 Racing Game. The Eutechnyx DRIFT ENGINE in HW BEAT THAT also is very awesome!
I remember playing this game with my cousin I use to beat him everytime in multiplayer That" mine collision " was very satisfying And when u break that wall and get a shortcut.
One thing i loved the most about racing games is the replay mode. Where u the whole race different angles all that. Really sad lot of new racing games dont have that anymore. Also this was my favorite hot wheels game

In this game you can find easter eggs in the game they are easy. The easter eggs are in the Bedroom and the Attic. The 1st Easter Egg is the AcceleRacers 1st movie Ignition. The 2nd Easter Egg is the Max Steel (2000) where you can find images.
I have to say this game is really bad that I love it. I Hope Hot Wheels Unleased did better. Edit: I remember XTG already did this game 3 years ago but it's crash.
I remember playing this Game for hours on my old PS2! And now my brothers and I play this together on my younger brother's Wii, everything came to full circle!
