    Me again 🙂Well, in the three months since I first saw this video, I've made four scissors keepers. I added zipper tabs & cut the pieces out slightly larger to accommodate them, but otherwise followed your instructions closely and they came out great. Since it only uses a fairly small amount of fabric, it's a terrific way to use up biggish scraps & fat quarters. Now to decide which fabrics to use for the next one...

    Thank you Svetlana, this is genius, I love the way the zipper ends turned out and super idea with the topstitching just on the outer fabric, this makes for a very neat and professional finish. Thank you for your time and expertise and for the template.

    These are really lovely and will make great gifts for friends that sew. I glue down the seam allowances, using a fabric glue pen on the area left open for turning. It keeps them very neat.

    Great video! I’ll be making some for my sewing friends for the holidays. Thank you, Svetlana.
    I have a question. Is it necessary to leave the 3” opening to turn the bag right side out? Couldn’t you just sew the entire way around and turn it right side out via the zipper?

    • @sotakhandmade
      @sotakhandmade  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That’s not possible, you have to leave the opening.
