    The best tutorial on TH-cam by far. You are the only person that has mentioned the tip about top-stitching the outer only. Thank you so much for showing us your amazing skills. Keep going, you're amazing x

    I wanted to make pouches to give away as gifts and I bought zippers and fabric and cut out about 30 of them, however I've viewed several videos and my zippers never looked quite right. Your video is great and I can't wait to pick my project up again after a year. I'm so motivated! Who knew I'd find what I needed by googling "pencil case". I will let you know how they turn out. Thank You.

After 9 months of making facemasks, and realizing how much I enjoy the creative process, I have been so very eager to find another small, quick-to-completion project to sew! But, as a novice sewer, I couldn't visualize how one would even begin to make a zippered pouch. Your video makes this adorable little pouch look so easy to make! Thank you!!! (I just subscribed!!)

    Loved it. You are so neat, tidy and explain things so well for beginners. Also I've made several of these but the zips sides have always been slanted but I will now try the way you did the zip and hopefully this won't happen👍😁

    • @stoneblue1795
      @stoneblue1795 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I could not agree more. I have hated and dreaded making top-zip bags because of how mine have come out in the past. I always end up dialing the zipping down a bit and putting it on the front of bags a couple inches from the top. Which is fine, but I like to be able to master more than one way of doing these.

    Your videos are so very helpful!! Your camera work is very very well done and your slow, methodical explanations are quite clear - especially for beginners, like me! Thank you. More, please! (Is there a rule of thumb for how long a zipper to buy relative to the overall width of the zipper pouch you are making? If the pouch would be 10-1/2" wide, would you buy a 10" zipper? etc.?)

      Or learn to work with bulk zipper chain in plastic/nylon like YKK makes (number 5 a good choice or 8 if you want really robust), you can stich across it for the most part and make it any length you need/want.
