All of those presentations are very solid! I like to work my own version of a Carolina rig when I'm fishing from the bank. I'll use a 1/2 oz or 3/4 oz bullet weight because it has to come through all the vegetation like an arrow, and I use a long, paddle tail, floating worm that's Texas rigged. To add just a bit more float, I'll use mono for my leader and go about 3 feet with it. It's great for getting those fish that have their bellies near the bottom in colder water.

Jerk bait is my favorite and so much fun to fish in the colder months. Keep the drag set loose because a big fish will bend out those little hooks on a hard run.
Lipless crank was my favorite never really fished lipless! I think I will be after watching this!! Thanks guys

I like the tip from Miles about expanding the strike zone with the lipless crank bait, that makes a lot of sense. Also can never go wrong with the good old chatter bait with the trailer. Thanks for giving us information on that as well!

When I fish a bladed jig around cover not only do I use a flat creature bait but I also use the Berkley Slobberknocker because it doesn’t roll over like the Chatterbait because of the way the blade is connected to the head, but I do use the mini max a ton though for most everything else
Always good tips will have to try the z craws on a chatterbait have some in my plastic box that have had for a while.
In my area of Ms. The swimming worm and chatter baits work well on our submerged stump flats.

Where would I start in February and March on lake Belton Texas that’s mainly rock and timber
Start in mouth of creeks. Look for channel swings next to timber / rock. You can follow the creek channels to middle/ back half of creeks. Target the rock / wood that they are near.
