    Thanks for the informative video! I had the worst of many attacks last week & ended my morning in the emergency room. I'm doing a search for laparoscopic surgeons as I write this. You look very well & have been recovering quickly since your surgery! I will be creating my own video & will post for all to see. You are a brave soul. Many thanks for posting!!!

      +Jer Bear Please look into doing a liver flush/cleanse before you get surgery. I removed stones a couple of days ago just by drinking olive oil and fresh citrus juice. Watch Dr. Andreas Moritz, very informative.

    they didnt let me out of the hospital till after a day of surgery :( they said it was complicated but didnt explain why. also shoulders hurt a lot and i just got home im taking tylenol 3 and well im just home now. i think the worst pain is on my shoulders than my stomach.

    • @robax
      @robax 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      The shoulder pain is from the gas they use to pump up your belly so they can see things inside. Getting rid of the remaining gas is like having the bends. Mine went after a day and a bit.

    I suffered the most on day 2. Day 1 was scariest I was too scared to move I got stuck in bed and needed to pee that was terrifying. I had a very poor recovery to begin with day 3 I feel more human and no drugs now :) just too scared to clean the belly button incision as it stings!

    keep in mind after your surgery try to move around but not to much to where you hurt. when you move you get the gas out faste, the gas will either go to your shoulder or chest sometimes it will be both. i found it very comfortable to lay on your left side and alwaya aak for help when herting up to keep from using all your stomach muscles.

    Very glad you feel better. I had mine in a emergency situation. Where my girlfriend raced me to the E.R asap where I crawled out of the car and vomited the pain I had was so bad that I passed Out and woke up two days later.I believe my reason for not recognising the symptoms was my pain mngt.meds of Fentanyl , Norco and vicodin over a 15yr. Period. This was from a Sprint car racing accident where I broke my neck and back had two disc removed with 7 levels fused. So I believe this was masking my pain.( I don't drink alc.or eat crazy foods .I've been a vegan for most of my life. ) I wish someone would have mentioned the Tylenol was unhealthy in the doses and periods I was taking. This is another reason to look into since just recently the FDA now is saying this ingredient can be harmful. Just to put a pain level on the situation.
    I broke my back And neck pain level was a 4-5
    I snapped my Achilles tendon pain level 7-8
    Gall bladder exploding pain level 20-30
    Honestly it's up there.
    Thanks for your video I've had other friends and family see them just to get them to see a dr.

    Thank you for taking the effort, especially under the circumstances, to make this video. I just had my surgery Sat night, went home Monday morn and it's Wed night now. I had a few more problems and had already been in hospital for a week before the surgery. My gallbladder was full of pus as well as the stones and they had cut me/it open to let it out. Then they put in a drain tube with a ball like thing hanging out of me. They waited a few more days hoping it would get healthy enough for laparascopic surgery but I kept feeling worse, more bloated and more pain and I could only take small fast breaths because my lungs felt squashed. I finally convinced the nurses to call my doc in the night for a 2nd time. They did the surgery, luckily laparascopically and not a full blown gut cut. They found the drain had clogged and the pus and whatever else was in there had been emptying into my body cavity, instead of the ball. I guess they had been thinking that the ball wasn't filling up because it wasn't making much pus anymore. At the time they cut it to put in the drain they showed me a big fat syringe full of what they sucked out plus I had felt a big hot gush burst out and run down my side when the doc first cut in. One nurse had said the syringe had 120cc in it but later the doc said it was over 200cc. A cc is a ml so that's nearly a cup of poison, plus that gush!
    Anyhow. I'm feeling not too bad considering. But I have no doubt that I wouldn't be without the pain meds. I actually ate pizza tonight. After clear fluids for a week then things like soup and crackers for days, I was craving it so bad.
    I'm sure I had to have lost weight but my belly is still so round I can't even tell.
    I hope that settles down soon.
    You know what the clear fluids diet consisted of?......water.....a cup of hot water ....and a cup of cold water......and mmmm some hard water (ice) also either red water or green water in gel form. Every flipping meal for a week!

    Thank you for sharing your story! I have been suffering with horrifying pain for about 5 years and went to the ER a number of times and told I am getting ulcers. My pain is sharp burning contractions right in between my ribs above my stomach and it bulges out during attacks. I also get nauseous and cant eat or even drink water some days! I finally found a doctor willing to listen and shes ordering me a CT scan and she is almost 100 % sure its my gallbladder. Im so glad I found your videos because I thought I was dying or something and to see someone else describe the same symptoms gives me comfort in knowing that ill be ok. I hope all is well and your in good health! Thanks again! hugs!

      Hey same. The next scan for me is something called like the HIDA scan. all test came back negative for me as well and severe pain under rips in upper right corner. I had appendix removed before this and they still have no idea whats causing it, The pain after eating is horrible sometimes I just wanna die rather than going through the pain or just fall asleep so the pain goes away when I wake up. hopefully even if the HIDA scan comes beck negative I can Maybe get surgery because all the symptoms are pointing to the gallbladder. Ultrasound was done, Blood work, nothing it pisses me off because its not like I'm faking the pain and that's what bugs me the most is people just don't know whats going on and i've been suffering for 2 months now! UGH.

      Wow im sorry your dealing with all this! I went through it for 5 years and today i FINALLY got the diagnosis and get mine removed next week. U, in so much pain and discomfort I feel like im having a child through my chest!

    • @calvinwartnick3499
      @calvinwartnick3499 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah it hurts so bad for me. Whenever I eat I feel so sick and the doctors won't do anything about it pain killers kinda work but then sometimes they don't. I'm hoping the HIDA scan finds something or else it's going to be more of a waiting game until when they give up on all options and say let's do exploratory surgery on you and see if we can see what's causing the pain or let's just take the gallbladder out all together but that might not be for another 1-4 months or longer. I feel bad for you dam man 5 years I could not even imagine what you went though. And I'm complaining about 2 months but still I feel your pain and. I'm glad they are trying to help you at least for us we are just waiting and waiting and it's annoying and my patience is running out especially since I'm always in pain after eating and the pain takes forever to go away. Anyway best of luck to you and hopefully they fix me sometime soon.

    I'm having surgery Friday July 1st. This video is more like my mom and two friends have said. Not a bad surgery. Not a big deal with recovering. They said it takes 1-2 days before I'm someone normal again but it's not that bad or painful for recovery. You looked good the day of surgery. So I'm more relieved. Heck my friend went back to work on day 3 and he's a cop. So I should be fine. I hope. Hopefully I'm able to be back to normal by the 4th.

    5/13/14 I had my gallbladder removed at about 7 am, was home by 12 noon. Felt pretty good, out of it, throat so dry due to being intubated. I eventually got sick and threw up due to either the anesthesia drugs or hydrocodone, so stopped taking that and am only on 800 mg. of regular store bought ibuprofen. I drank a milkshake and 4 bottles of water and half a gallon bottle of apple juice before the morning of the second day. Hurts getting up or down from couch or bed, other than that its not too bad. More of a dull pain, really.

    Tip: load up your freezer with ice chips, popsicles etc so you can soothe your throat from the tubing they used during surgery. Really helps a lot. If you still have throat pain, you can use throat spray to numb it.

    I had my operation last week. It was a breeze compared to the attacks so I´m happy. I´m still a bit sore around the belly button but that´s about it. But here they let you stay one night over, just in case. I´m glad for that because I had some problems waking up, lol. But it´s normal to keep you one night.

    I had my gallbladder removed Feb 2011 due to it not functioning properly. I was horribly sick for years over it. I had it removed and had severe gas pains after surgery. It hurt to talk, walk, breath, sit up, lay down pretty much do anything. I had 4 small incisions and couldnt use the bathroom because my bladder was still asleep from the surgery. I had to go to the ER at midnight to get my bladder drained. I was only on Tylenol 3 for the pain because Im sensetive to meds. I still had the severe gas pains for 2 days and I wasnt feeling to good on day 2. After that I was able to eat normally and felt better just was a lil sore from my incisions. Im a lot better since my surgery but I still do have stomach problems. My GI doctor thinks I produce to much acid but I still get sick with different symptoms even though I take acid reducers.

    • @Monicasdestiny
      @Monicasdestiny 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Annachie Harkin the surgery and recovery was easy. I was back to work in 3 days...I should have waited a few more though cuz I tore open 2 of my surgery sites. But, even that wasn't bad cuz the surgery holes are tiny. I still can't eat broccoli, fatty food and bacon sets me off bad. The pain was gone immediately but I still have gallbladder like attacks if I eat certain foods and I can't eat fast food or fried food at all now...or reap the consequences. I'm ok though and I'm glad I did it.
