If there's one thing the Unovan Pokédex is missing, it's Fairy-types. From what I've seen it seems you have a certain abililty in drawing "monstrous" or "strong" designs for Pokémon. Perhaps it would be a nice challenge for yourself to try and make a few Fairy-type forms! Unrelated (or not) I'd like to see your take on the Volcarona and Hydreigon lines!
It is a good opportunity to challenge himself! Though there is also potential for more “fairy tale monster” designs for the type as well such as Mawile or Grimmsnarl!
@@MegaMew204it actually is fairy type. Grass/fairy for both it and whimsicott. They only gained the secondary fairy type after gen 6 because fairy didn’t exist during gen 5, where they’re both pure grass
I like the connection between Dracula and the blood sucking tick as a basis for the design. Also like the related black and white color. Nicely done!!!
I have four of ideas that you could use: A ancient Pangoro evolution like Ursaluna where you would need a special item and a specific time to evolve it can retain its original typing of Dark/Fighting. A ancient form of Pidgeot that is a Dragon/Flying type Draconic Bird Pokémon. A ancient Dunsparce evolution that could be a Dragon/Normal type Pokémon. A ancient Nuzleaf evolution like Sneasler that could be a Grass/Fighting type or a Grass/Rock type Pokémon.
That was awesome and also I think you should add those pokemon to your newist pokemon region because you can do same like Scarlet And Violet and also Also Golurk is my favourite ground type pokemon
I love the ideas you have for this region! I wanted to leave a few notes. The collar on the Joltik design was the next most vampirey element in the design after the skull, but in the final colors its unreadable. Maybe it could be red or the shading changed so its more readable. Also watch for tangents! The Fraxure line has two: where the tusk and crests meet and where the arm and the club tail meet. Its just harder to read the silhouette when these elements line up so perfectly. The only other thing is I wish Gavantula had a new design element, cause this recolor feels more like a new shiny. Hopefully this information is helpful for you! I love all the concepts you've come up with for this project.
You’ve already added quite a few fire bug types within your videos, maybe you could change Volcorona’s type to help with diversity. I could see it turning into a fire fairy type as many fairy’s are depicted as semi insectoid in folklore and media, it also adds to Volcorona’s already mystical nature and would keep its sun-like theming.
Here's an idea: a fairy fighting hatterene line, they became tougher in the ancient unova reigon when they were brought over by galar natives, they had to adapt to fight all the tough pokemon in the reigon (kingambit, haxorus, conkeldurr ect). they fight alongside humans against their opponents
Since liligant already got a past form, maybe its counterpart whimsicott could get one too. Maybe it could have a more rugged sage look and be fairy/ground to contrast the graceful fighter look and type hissuian lilligant has.
I grew up watching the black and white anime, so seeing someone put so much time into a region that I know well and love is awesome. also, I had a thought that since legends: arceus has alphas, why doesn't legends kyurem have omega pokemon? it would be a smaller than normal pokemon with glowing blue eyes rather than red. also, this gimmick could affect speed and accuracy since there're smaller
In the Galvantula dex entry it says that what it has sapped enough energy it could evolve. So what if “in game” you had to use moves like bite crunch or giga drain a certain amount of time in order to evolve.
I feel like you should do an ancient Blastoise and Venusour line because Charzard always gets more attention then them when there really cool! I feel like a cool Fighting/Water type Blastoise would be cool, especially with a snapping or other ancient turtle species would be awesome!
You should do a Beartic that evolves similarly to ursaluna implying a common ancestor between teddiursa/ ursaring and cubchoo/ beartic I always thought they were similar
Here are some ideas that could maybe be used.... 1. Milktank - When Gen 5 came out we saw Nurse Joy switch from using Chansey to using Audino. While they maybe could use them in Legends Kyurem too, they could also possibly have used another pokemon in the past - a Fairy/Normal type Milktank. These Milktank would be smaller, have a smoother and less bombastic appearance. Maybe have frills on them that can make them look like wet nurses, milk maids, maids in general? Kinda reminiscent of Indeedee in a way since you said they'd be coming from Galar. The idea would be the explorers bring them with them to the region, and over generations in the future they were bred so much to maximize milk production that they lost their fairy typing. Maybe they sort of have a rivalry with the Bouffalant of the region? 2. Aerodactyl - I think Aerodactyl would be good to make into a Dragon type as I've always seen it like those pokemon. Maybe Dragon/Flying so it doesn't overlap with the new Haxorus. In certain parts of the Pokemon world fossil pokemon are seen to be alive in modern day, so it would make sense that in a place where they value traditions some would especially be protected for use by trainers. It would also give Dragon type trainers another pokemon to use. As apart of its lore, you could say that it had to adapt to new threats as colonists brought in more Fairy type pokemon to the region. It tried adapating by changing its Dragon type for Rock but that wasn't enough and the entire species went fully extinct.
Haxorus is my all time favorite pokemon, tied only with Aggron, so I'm overjoyed to see it get such a special treatment. One thing I'd like to see in this region I'd pokemon not native to Unova in the original B/W and their respective versions, much like Hisui had Braviary and Liligant, and alternate evolutions like Sneasler. You're doing amazing work my dude, keep it up!
Random ideas -a fairy type scyther evolution based on the orchid mantis -a dragon type mawile form with a snake for hair based on the gorgons of Greek myth -a honedge evolution based on the sword in the stone turned golem -a much less aggressive beedrill form based on how honey bee’s aren’t technically native to the americas -a fairy type hydreigon form based on its violet entry that states it’s only angry and destructive because people in the past loathed it -a roselia evolution based on thumbelina -a ribombee form based on the mothman -two forms for swanna, a fairy type white swan and a dark black swan based on swan lake -an ice form of sawsbuck or stantler based on the wendigo -forms for the talonflame line based on the thunderbird -forms for the walrein line based on sirens that drowned sailors -forms for the kingdra line based on the glaucus atlanticus
You could make a pure dragon type Hydreigon line that mimics the legendary dragons. Deino would mimic Kyreum, Zweilous would mimic Zekrom and Reshiram, and Hydreigon would have Kyreum as the main head and have Zekrom and Reshiram as the side hands.
I LOVEEEE THIS SERIES, please, I beg of your do another one of these or do other creative pokemon ideas like a Pokémon Z or new Pokémon forms cause I need more
Already I'm gonna call it now, Skye is the top-tier waifu of all the human characters for 'Legends: Kyurem'. Although the ancestor for Marlon (Plus Shelly from R/S/E & ORAS) does have her perks, but Skyla's ancestor beats her out in terms of her cuteness and overall energetic personality.
It’s sad to see that this series is coming to end, soon. Seeing the development of this game’s lore and designs has been really fun, and it’s honestly made me super hyped to see if Gamefreak plans on making any more Legends games Also, as an out-there suggestion: I thought it could be fun to have some sort of lore that references Hydreigon and the introduction of the Fairy type. There were 2 ways I was thinking this could be done: 1. You could add an ancient pokemon that was so oppressively good at hunting Fairy types that it drove them to near/complete extinction. This could be a good in-game explanation for why modern-day Unova mostly lacks Fairy types, while also explaining why the region has so many strong Dragon and Dark type pokemon. To drive home the point, maybe the Hydreigon line could be more common throughout the ancient region too. You could also explain why the ancient pokemon no longer exists, since it would’ve overhunted its main food supply. 2. You could make it so that Fairy types are an invasive species to the region, which were brought along by settlers to the area. Similar to what happened in the real-world competitive scene, the newly introduced Fairies could cause chaos in the unprepared region, to the point that efforts are made by the regional leaders to contain the growing Fairy population. A successful effort to mitigate the Fairy population could be another in-game way to explain why there’s only a few Fairy types in modern Unova. The whole invasive Fairy debacle could also explain why the Hydreigon line pokemon are so rare in the B/W games, since they would’ve been forced to hide away in victory road (which just so happens to have an abundance of Steel type Durant).
I’d actually thought that a third evolution for the Volcarona line to take it into full Kaiju Pseudolegendary Bug-type territory would be great. Imagine an even larger and more majestic and imposing evolution for Volcarona along the lines of Milotic’s grace and visual impact, with eye-patterned wings that also become even closer to the orange lilies that they already resemble, a Fire/Bug type Sun Moth demigod that can have the abilities either Flash Fire or Pixilate.
Here’s an idea : As a kind of opposite to Basculin/Basculegion, you would have an evolution for single form Wishiwashi. Like how Basculin is a single Pokémon that gains the energy from others to evolve, the Wishiwashi would evolve due to there being no one around to protect it. I was thinking of basing on some sort of large American fish, and it could be Water/Fairy cause of a lack of fairy types in the dex rn.
Ideas you say, i think a new form of hydreigon would be cool as well as a few new evolutions for some newer or older Pokemon, like heatmor and carnivine and maybe even a fusion of kyrem, zecrom and reshiram together
While i do like the idea of Unovan pokemon getting regional forms, i think there might be an idea of taking some outer region pokemon (more from Kalos onward) and giving some of those a branching evolution? Because it feels like you're too focused on making sure that every pokemon fits in with this style of Unova, which isnt a bad idea, i do like this. But maybe if there was some newer gen pokemon that got some regional varients, it would be nice for the diversity
I love your ideas for this fictive Pokémon Legends game! 🤩The new designs for the characters & different Pokémon lines are awesome. The only question in my head is - why does Haxorus have 4 claws on his right feet, only 3 on his left?
This is a minor comment but when you write the entry's like the joltik you tend to show the evolution in the entry you can ignore this if you want but it does spoil it. Have a good day!
Real quick, in Legends Arceus the fossil pokemon didn't exist and were only obtainable via space time distortions, so it might make more sense to replace Skye's Archeops with a Mandibuzz or something. Great series btw!
I love these videos but I was wondering can you tell us what area you can find different pokemon on the map and new moves because the the starter have new moves included some other that get different forms
i luv your work, i had the idea for a ground-fairy type gotheta line with the hole line based around brownies (the fae creature not the {ok somewhat on the} dessert) the could start out as playful tricksters as gotheta who also luv sweets, as gothareta begin to mature as gothareta by fixing what they ruind as gotheta, and finaly deadacate themselves to careing for a house and family by cleaning the house and makeing sweets for the without asking for anything the line would have dirty dusty cloths like their fae insperation and would be the perfect start for their gothic maid insperation in modern times
have you heard of the tale of the Wampus cat? it's an American cryptid about a six-legged cat, it's verry presence invokes fear in whoever beholds it. a classic southern Appalachian tale, I suggest researching. in reality The Miccosukee Indians call a mix of Bobcat and domestic cat a Wampus cat. Hey how would you include Paradox pokemon into the story? I know this sounds out of place but Unova is the only other region that has human made time travel ( as an Opelucid city side quest) so what if we encounter Paradox pokemon on our travels. What Unovan and other region pokemon would be interesting for Paradox pokemon treatments.
Can you make an ancient form of the Pokémon scelotl which instead of using leaves uses silk or cloth or an ancient version of crustal which has coral on its back?
Hear me out. Durent evolution that is based off of an ant queen which would be Fairy/Steel type. A grass/water Maractus that would be based off of sea anemone And a water/electric Stunfisk which would be based off of clownfish and would have a symbiotic relationship with Maractus
Hello your ancient Haxorus totally rules , 100/100 , could you maybe do an ancient Zebstrika line, I don’t think there is electricity in more ancient times 🙂
I know this isn't a real game, as of June 27,2023, but this is for some reason getting me very excited. I really hope the Pokemon Company makes a Legends Kyurem
Maybe make some past Eeveelutions? Perhaps they went extinct due to requiring very specific conditions to evolve, but ye I think they would be very popular
I think it would be cool if there was a Russian nesting doll darumaka that uses the materiel around it to make the doll around or over its head kinda like burmy
0.:41 hate to break it to you but Haxorus doesn't have high enough bst to be classified as a pseudo, unless you plan on upping their stats. Are you? Great designs though regardless!
I have a small critique, when you draw forms, they are in the same pose as the original only with different colors and a few different details. Try to change it up a little by changing the expression, angle, so that we know it’s not just Haxorus, but a different Haxorus and we know it’s personality and traits. Otherwise, good work!
Listen I get that they usually have their original as their shiny when it comes to past forms but for Joltik it is just too weird and different. Maybe an orange and gray color instead?
I was wondering if you can change the rendering on the "Kyurem" in the title to match colonial-era Americas? It would fit better than the brushed style used for Legends: Archeus, which fit into Meiji Restoration era Hokkaido.
I have a idea for your little noble pokemon problem let me explain your fire and electrice type noble pokemon a+ your ice and steel type could use work you cauld give beartice a new evouotion and give kingambit a reginal form to fix yoyr problem

Ducklett and Swanna itself would also perfectly fit a Fairy like design, due to Swanna having that heart chest.
It is a good opportunity to challenge himself! Though there is also potential for more “fairy tale monster” designs for the type as well such as Mawile or Grimmsnarl!
Hey Jon great designs can’t wait to see what you do next
Cottonee is right there, it needs the fairy type... Mostly because I thought it WAS fairy for a while...

Haxorus is my favorite Pokémon and most other variants I’ve seen kinda ruin it for me. This did not. Thank you.
Lessgo another video!!! The new designs are frickin slapping!!! Love! ❤
Ditto your famous!
This Haxorus line, I need it
maybe Drilbur and Excadrill as older mining implements? Dwebble and Crustle could be an idea

Axew? More like Ancew! Get it? Eh, Eh?
No…
I don’t get it…
Nope
I don't
An ancient form of Durant make it base on the evolution from wasp to ants made make it dark or ghost type
have you heard of the tale of the Wampus cat? it's an American cryptid about a six-legged cat, it's verry presence invokes fear in whoever beholds it. a classic southern Appalachian tale, I suggest researching. in reality The Miccosukee Indians call a mix of Bobcat and domestic cat a Wampus cat. It looked like a small domestic cat but was very wild in behavior, a kid took it to Cornell U (where she was going to school at the time) and they verified it had an extra spinal bone and some other characteristics of a wild bobcat.
also if you're looking for some inspiration for a regional gardevoir/gothita may i suggest the bell witch? it's about a vengeful ghost who was surprisingly talkative, claimed to be older than the Appalachian Mountains. real interesting stuff.
I could see a rock types Haxoris getting the move stone axe.
100/100, great artistry/ great story. When is your next publication coming out?
Ancient amoongus that mimics the face of kyurem to terrify predators
You did great work, however I have 2 small issues:
1. Less important, Kyurem doesn't change type while changing form
2. More important, From what I have seen, you are only making regional variants of pokemon from unova (except for starters) notice how in Legends Arceus there are forms of pokemon that are no native to basic Sinnoh like Decidueye, Lilligant, Arcanine, Avalugg, I think that you should make regional variants of other than unovian pokemon but you do you, still good work dude
I think you should do an ancient version of sawk and throw, maybe based on early boxers and wrestlers
Can you try hide the evos when showing previous evolutions.
A ghost based vampiric tick Joltik/Galvantula is such a good idea
I think it would be more interesting is haxorus’s tusks we’re just sharp rocks that it holds in its mouth.
2nd love the new forms ❤
Can you make an ancient form of the Pokémon scelotl which instead of using leaves uses silk or cloth or an ancient version of crustal which has coral on its back?
Can you please make an ancient Excadrill that instead of steel claws and head armour they could be made out of bones or stone
Maybe the fly Pokémon good be a dragon flying evolution to gyarados just to tie in more of the myth that the line is based on
Hear me out. Durent evolution that is based off of an ant queen which would be Fairy/Steel type.
A grass/water Maractus that would be based off of sea anemone
And a water/electric Stunfisk which would be based off of clownfish and would have a symbiotic relationship with Maractus
For joltik I would have done a Hisuan sneasel thing and give it a new evolution altogether
You could have called it Taracula or something
Kerum is the husk and the original mind if the first dragon pokemon
Maybe an ancient squad of the swords of justice?
Hello your ancient Haxorus totally rules , 100/100 , could you maybe do an ancient Zebstrika line, I don’t think there is electricity in more ancient times 🙂
You should have said that for axus they shed thwir tusks and ancient humans used the shedded tusks for spears
I know this isn't a real game, as of June 27,2023, but this is for some reason getting me very excited. I really hope the Pokemon Company makes a Legends Kyurem
Druddigon is my favourite dragon type pokemon
Kigambit is like king but I thought it would be like a ninja like bisharp
You should do scraggy with old cloths and a older form of lizard and a amoongest with a old form or add more or to gigilth
Maybe make some past Eeveelutions? Perhaps they went extinct due to requiring very specific conditions to evolve, but ye I think they would be very popular
Plz plz plz do a Concestador Mudstale
Fire type hydragon based on classic scaly green dragon's in myths
I think bringing the unova fossils back to life without the rock typing would look cool
I, for one, always thought the Axew line should have been either Dragon/Rock or Dragon/ Steel
Galvantula should have a skull face or more to do with dracula, this Galvantula is just a recolor
I think it would be cool if there was a Russian nesting doll darumaka that uses the materiel around it to make the doll around or over its head kinda like burmy
The Axew looks like a dinosaur zorua
I feel like there is an ancestor missing: The ancestor of Surge, the Lightning American.
Good morning
you should do forms for the forces of nature but only the 3 ogs
When will a few legendaries will be coming
What about chargestone cave? Joltik can exist there
since hawaii is a state, how about making legends: necrozma? 👀👀👀

This guy is so sick! god I bet he isn't in his homeland rn
Will Zoroark gets a new form since its its home region after all
Mabye the names for Joltik and galvantula should have different names, like ghoultik and Countvantula
@TheJonMachine! do you need a proof reader? There's a couple of there/their errors in your dex entries and I'd be happy to help out
Could you make something for hydreigon line
What is the Vampirism ability?
hey can you make a regional form for shiftry?
How about a regional form for genesect but instead of being purple it's gold and made out of gears and other old steam powered technology
Haxorus has one extra toe on his right foot
0.:41 hate to break it to you but Haxorus doesn't have high enough bst to be classified as a pseudo, unless you plan on upping their stats. Are you?
Great designs though regardless!
What about a Pikachu like that went extinct over time could be stell ground type or somthing else as in the anime pikachu is rare in unova
I have a small critique, when you draw forms, they are in the same pose as the original only with different colors and a few different details. Try to change it up a little by changing the expression, angle, so that we know it’s not just Haxorus, but a different Haxorus and we know it’s personality and traits. Otherwise, good work!
Most of the official art of Alolan forms: **nervous sweating**
@@MarshtompGames yeah but they have such different appearances that we know that this is not just vulpix, it’s a new pkmn
Listen I get that they usually have their original as their shiny when it comes to past forms but for Joltik it is just too weird and different. Maybe an orange and gray color instead?
Maybe reversed too like its body is orange and its eyes are black?
why does the haxorus have four toes on one side, and three on the other.
I was wondering if you can change the rendering on the "Kyurem" in the title to match colonial-era Americas? It would fit better than the brushed style used for Legends: Archeus, which fit into Meiji Restoration era Hokkaido.
He talked about this a few videos ago, and, to keep it somewhat simple, bit late to change it. That's what I can recall, anyway.
Please, please, please make a ground and Fairbanks type Leavanny based on Native Amerecans.
The leaf on the head may be feathers instead.
The ground and fairy type comes from their connection with the earth and the spirits of the earth.
I have a idea for your little noble pokemon problem let me explain your fire and electrice type noble pokemon a+ your ice and steel type could use work you cauld give beartice a new evouotion and give kingambit a reginal form to fix yoyr problem
What app does he use to draw these fakemon?
One of Haxorus’ feet is missing a toe.
I'm glad I'm not the only one to notice that
