The quality of golf played was outstanding. Two class pros going blow for blow. Joe's mental toughness to stay on his game while being behind most of the match was especially impressive. Top class camerawork, editing and golf. All held together by the insightful shot by shot explanations by the competitors themselves. To be able to call your own shots, then carry it out requires immense concentration and skill, so well done to both James and Joe. This format really showcases pure golf competition and the BBC should be beating a path to your door to serialise this as a TV series.

Wow! What a match! I purposely didn’t look in the comments beforehand, just in case it gave the result away! 2 very evenly matched, super talented and ultra competitive players, showing us how it should be done. What I also love was the way each of them were still willing each others shots to…bounce right, sit etc. James and Jo, such nice guys.

What I love about your Channel Dan is how you follow these different pros careers and goals etc. I find myself checking up on James’s, Joes and Paul’s scoring in tournaments more than I do the PGA tour. Couldn’t watch until now-knew it would be epic so needed some clear time-but it went by so fast. Such great golf and insight. It’s easy to forget how good the players are on this channel with all the banter and fun, but Paul winning the PGA, Joe and James shooting lights out in a gale … as good as it gets short of touring pros. Outstanding work!

Watching this a few holes at a time to spread the fun. The snippets of conversation between Dan, Jordan and our two champions really add to the enjoyment of watching this match unfold.
In my opinion that was the best vlog to date on DHG, two class players going head to head in very testing wind conditions, well played by both players , more of this please Dan.

Well Dan what an enthralling hour and a half of real quality golf, filming and commentary- the standard of golf played in windy conditions was awesome coupled with their thoughts as the round progressed. Congratulations to all concerned with such an excellent production. Top quality golf from these two talented and amiable players. Their pre-shot commentary was so enlightening and their execution of the plan was top drawer on a course that was stretched to the limit and with a typical Trevose stiff breeze. The camera work also showed off Trevose at its best and reflected all the recent improvements the club have worked so hard to deliver.
Would love to see both having a crack at the Challenge Tour event but, failing that, we’ll all be rooting for Joe.

Top class venue, excellent camera work (incl the drone footage) and post production, surprisingly good commentary (well done Dan - the next Peter Alliss?) and of course some outstanding golf from both players. Pity there could only be one winner. Also, the bright clear sunny day helped showcase the course and surroundings beautifully. Eye catching colours. One of the best vlogs of the year so far so well done!. Oh, I guess you had to get the PGA to sanction the match to enable the winner to get into a Challenge Tour field? Maybe there was a minimum prize money requirement -5K? Looking forward to seeing how Joe gets on at St Mellion 1st week in August.
