We learned the removing the rain fly trick the hard way on one of our trips to the NC mountains. Ended up removing it at 2am after a night of sleeplessness. Lol

Good stuff. I'm still waiting to hear how the awning is holding up and thoughts on it. On paper or screen I suppose I'm liking what I see from 23zero so I suppose I'm a fan by proxy.
Really cool. Have you had a chance to use the tent in cold weather yet? I’m curious how the high density mattress does in cold weather. I used to bring a memory foam mattress and put it on top of the regular 3” foam mattress in my Yakima tent, but found that the memory foam got rock hard in cold temperatures.

Nice Vid. Been waiting for a turtle trailer , 23 zero tent combo. We are just about to pull the trigger on the exact match for both, Only thing I will change is reversing the zipper inside the back of the annex so I can zip down a partial window for the trailer table access and still be able to keep critters out. Question; do how do you set up your awning without interfering with your tent window poles? Nice choice!!!

Awesome! Hows the wind noise? Does it ever get a bit too much when it's blowing hard?
At first I was terrified to look at the price but wow, very reasonable. Actually comparable to my GoFSR adventure series cost but with more sleeping space, better roof rack footprint, thicker mattress, and sky lights. I think I'm sold!!
Interesting. I've been looking at the 23Zero tents but once I added some of the add-ons (boot bag for $50, sheet for $60, and locks for $40) and the cost of shipping ($230), the price came very close to the GoFSR tents (which include boot bags) so I really switched up my thinking and I'm now leaning towards the GoFSR High Country 55".

Nice walk around! We tried a soft shell roof tent when traveling in Australia but didn't like it. Wasn't from this brand though. We were happy to come back to our hard shell roof top tent. Have you ever tried a hard top roof tent?

I love the LST aspect, I sleep all day when I am on vacation. How is the flooring material? Looks like an aluminum deck.
Tent zippers should ALWAYS be 550 cord pulls. Zippers clanking together in the wind sucks.

Jerry Lunday same here. With the amount of usage that Kevin, Sarah, and Caroline put through their 23Zero it’s hard to go with another brand for me. 23Zero is proven and that’s a big deal to me

23Zero or God, it makes no difference who makes the tent if they are going to stay with a 3-inch mattress it will never be comfortable. When are these tent makers going to increase the size of the hinge to allow for a Six-Inch Mattress that is comfortable? It takes very little looking on the nett to find fellow rooftop tenters who hate the mattress and want real comfort. Blacking out will suit some people but I was waiting for you to tell us it had another use such as an insulation layer.
Does anyone else think it’s a joke to call a blackout tent LST. It’s not some advanced technology...
