If JR Rider hadn’t been such a basket case he could’ve led that team into the tournament and done very well. Instead, he was removed from the team shortly after dominating this game.
No that's not what happened. They didn't make the tournament after losing the Big West final to New Mexico State and after they accepted the NIT bid, THEN he was removed from the team. I know this because I went to UNLV with him and attended every game.
