Workforce training? Nobody actually does that anymore, but they sure do claim they do to hold it over your head.

Thing is, otj training is pretty much non existent these days and trade secrets can be protected with NDA's

Shocking! Someone is suing the FTC over rulemaking. That never happens, right?

The claim about noncompete contract protecting trade secrets is bs. You want to protect your trade secrets there are called nondisclosure agreements. If they want a noncompete that is enforceable then be willing to pay the employee 100% of what they would earn to stay home.

Let’s count the number of lawsuits that will inevitably be filed once company secrets are exposed 😂!

I don't understand why non compete agreements even exist. It's a free country and everyone must be free to chose where they want to continue their careers.
In addition, being locked in one company where the workers and especially the high performers inevitably makes those performers to go into a silent resign after some time. In this case even high performers do just enough work not be laid off but nothing more.
Any workplace restricts the freedom of its employees will eventually face the fact that their high performers to underperform over the time.
Prisons don't create high performers but the other way around !

"Businesses need noncompetes for stuff like innovation"
Oh my god! HE ADMIT IT🤣
Do these business lackeys really "not realize" that they're SAYING THE QUIET PART LOUD about how companies and esp. corporations, so often, REALLY JUST WANT WHATEVER SPECIAL, LEGAL ADVANTAGES THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH to minimize competition as much as possible, to keep profits and oligopoly high??
