    The laurel twigs are called, locally, Brobs. These mark the safe route, as planned by Cedric, Queen's Guide to the sands. The route is safe for a short time, after which it is looked at again, owing the ever changing conditions of this vast bay.

    Arnside is in Cumbria. You walked from Cumbria to Cumbria.

    Always been fascinated by this dangerous bay. RIP all those poor cocklepickers. Id love to visit the bay and see the fast tide rush in.

    Pro tip - walk from Kents Bank to Grange along the path/prom. Buy yourself an ice cream from the cafe on the way.

    I've done it many times over the years since 1964 but the ripples in the sand are murder on the soles of your feet so haven't done it barefoot for many years.

    Good filming and views ,a pity about the nob who obviously doesn't know his ass from his elbow, I'm a Morecambrian,,sand grown , all in a good cause, ,as the saying goes, a little knowledge ?
