Thank you very much! I used to have a Casio very dear to me: it was a gift from my mother when we’d traveled to Florida for a vacation, after visited Disney, while visiting around she bought me a Casio with the coolest backlight. Unfortunately I lost it years ago, but after watching various of your videos I finally found the model (w 740)… after a quick search I found a seller online, new in package… Thanks a lot for your videos🙏
Just last year I managed to make a G-shock's display go dark due to excess heat (leaving it on the dashboard of a car on a sunny day). As soon as I let it cool down it was fine. In fact, the owner's manual says that this is possible and makes it sound like it's not a big deal, because the display will return to normal as soon as it gets back to a normal temperature. But I can't help thinking that it's not good for the watch so I'm careful not to let it happen again. If I leave a new G-Shock in the direct sun outside (and not in an enclosed car where the ambient temperature can literally get above 140 degrees F) then the display never seems to be affected (because it doesn't go dark like it did in the car).
I've had the carbon fiber one for about 3 years now. I think this is the best of the lot. And today I picked up the combi bracelet one. And I feel my square collection is complete and don't see myself buying another square. Love your videos. Cheers!
"You never really own a Casio, you meerly look after it for the next generation." I abhor this cancerous idea that the Swiss luxury manufacturers have infected the watch world with. There's this idea that you *must* buy a multi thousand dollar watch in order to have something that last years and years and something that is even worth owning. Bitch, I have a Casio calculator watch that is working just fine after 20 years. Will my children want it after I'm dead? Probably not. Would they want a Patek or Rolex I owned? Also probably not.

Got a GW-M5610-1 with NATO strap and protective bar in 2015 and was stolen by a relative's kid. Just got my GW-M5610-1BER a week ago and I'm loving it. Not having to worry about recalibrating or the battery of you watch feels so good!
Very informative video to get me started on the squares and inspired me to look and explore. Thanks. I actually got a combi bracelet from the GW-B5600-HR, harvested it and fitted it to my 20 year anniversary DW-5000SP-1DR (screw back caseback) and it works perfectly.
bought my gwm5610 for 115usd. I was hesitant because of the red stripe but when it arrived, it doesn't really looked bad at all. i am happy with my purchase. now im planning to also buy gw s5600 and gw5000. 😊
Great video Greg , I have over 125 Casio watches in my collection. About 30 are vintage Casio watches and Casio G-Shock watches. have you got casio CMD-40 1174 remote controlled watch, might put it up for sale if your from the uk, asking £80 for it, plus £5 for delivery, great condition, new battery, buttons all work, metal bracelet fully polished and looking new, almost invisible scratches but great for 21 year old watch, got my sky control programmed into learning mode, so 16 buttons, much better condition than online ones ive seen, tv, vidio player and learning mode, date, day and time, stopwatch, alarm and calculator, if your interested and live in the uk ill list on ebay, if not thats cool too, just really liking the standard watch from this video, lol
I like the retro style of the GWM5610-1 and its red stripe. I also installed a new-style combi bracelet to it. The install was very tough to do and I did scratch the case a bit where the springbar engages. While I like the fit of the bracelet, I'm so very glad that it's on a solar watch. I would not look forward to having to remove and reinstall the bracelet after a battery change.
Thanks for the video Greg. You might want to check out the square full metal. I have the GMW B5000GD. Made in Japan with tough solar and multi band 6. Yes more expensive but fun to wear and comfortable.
I also did a comparison of square G-Shocks on my channel, but also included non Tough Solar models as well as much bigger, but still square shaped King. On the other video I have compared good old composite bracelet from GW-M5610BC-1 model to the newest one made of plastic, but looking more classical, like strap bands, taken from GW-B5600BC-1. Unfortunately to most of the viewers I did in in Polish, however maybe just looking will be at least satisfying. Greg, it was a nice video, good to watch. All the best from Poland. :)
LOVED this video Greg - you covered so many MB6 square subtleties that I’ve pondered on. I put a $89 new combo on my 5610 and it was a great watch. Random Rob has a great vid on the install. I gave the watch to my nephew so am waiting for more Bluetooth and possibly Carbon case squares to be released before I purchase again. Surprised you didn’t pick up the solar no-atomic G-5600E - that’s my everyday beater and has only run 40sec fast in the last 6 months so pretty decent accuracy. If Casio would enlarge the pushers I would be thrilled. If I had your collection I’d swap your display head unit from your glossy blue 5610BA-1JF into your the matte case + combi bracelet from your 5610BC-1JF. You’d still have two complete watches and someone prolly wants the glossy case neg display (even with blue lettering). Just a thought.
I went through some of the same decisions on selecting which model to get. Ended up with the GW-S5600-1JF (carbon fiber strap and titanium back). I have added a GW-B5600BC-1ER (Bluetooth and combi bracelet). The combi bracelet is very comfortable, but sometimes I prefer having the strap, such as during cool weather running and bicycling (wearing the watch over inner clothing layers).
Just bought the one with the red stripe around it before watching this video. I think i made a good choice. The one from japan with neutral colors (5000-1jf) would have been perfect, but im not willing to pay more than double. All so a quick search i couldn't find the one with carbon fiber for a good price.
Terrific presentation . Thanks for the great comparison . Glad to see that a somewhat normal human bean would buy effectively six of the same watch. Thank you, you make me feel a little better about my Casio obsession . My GA M5610 -1 will be here this Friday .
Hi Greg, Just found your chanel! Great stuff and most informative inside on TH-cam! Didn't know that there were so many different 5610 out there!!! I own a couple of squares myself and I just love the red lining on the M5610 !! It's more of a burgundy dark red and I think it looks fantastic!! I also dislike the negative display on digital watches. But then, I'm over 50 years , so it's a reminiscent feeling of the time back then, when we were younger and there weren't such fashion statements. And of course it's harder to read at an age when one needs to wear glasses just to read anything!!;)) Keep up the good work!! Greetings from Germany Frank Schroth
Thank you Greg you're a man after my own heart! I have over 60 watches in my collection and have G Shock that I love. Keep your videos coming my friend.Dr Paul UK.
Love the "squares"! Great review of the different models. I have the basics one.....no solar. Thinking about pulling the trigger, but it runs as advertised.
I have the GW-5000-1f on combi bracelet without any problem as far as what you're thinking regarding the case back. It looks great and feels comfortable and much easier to put on and off. Highly recommended combination. Nothing really wrong with the supple rubber strap but I really like the look of the watch with the combi bracelet.
Thanks for the vid, I'm a traditionalist so it's got be digital, and a bit cheap, it's got to be under 100 quid (130 to 140 USD), so it's the standard GWM 5610 for me, nice to see the myriad of oriental options though, they all have the 3159 module ultimately. Many thanks for the post/ comparison.
Good video and great collection. FYI: This is absolutely fine to put the combi bracelet on your other watches. Those bracelets will fit any 6900, 5610, 5600, and 5000 series. You can even put them on the 5900 models. Hope that helps. Have a nice one!
I just ordered the red line. I am a casual collector, and I am looking for a work horse that I can wear on long Florida bicycle rides. I paid $107. USD tax included . Nice collection you have. Also, I bought it for the retro 80s look. I had my share of Casios back then as did everyone. Watches weren't such a status symbol back then. Thanks for your reviews.
What a good collection of square Gshock watches you have there Greg, they are awesome. I like your discussion about the negative & positive features of every model which are very helpful for me to decide which one to buy. I think I will pick the GW5000 out of these ones. I like the GWs5600 but I don't like to many writing on the band as you said. In Australia we have another model G-5600E that look quite nice and subtle like the GW5000 but it doesn't have multiband 6 which make sense since we don't have any radio control tower here. Thank you for a very well detailed comparison video.
I wasn't sure if I would like the GW-S5600 but, after I bought it, I decided I REALLY like it. Of course, I like them all. But if I had to pick just one it would either be the GW-S5600 or the GW-5000.
@@GoodTimekeeper I like the GW-S5600 for its lightness and titanium back case, but again I am still bothered by all those writing on the band :) . I would go for the GW-M5610 if its face has the odd red outline on it but as you said it doesn't look bad in person so hopefully by chance I will see someone is wearing it one day :) . Like you, I don't like negative display gshock , and I would never buy a digital negative display one after I bought the GWG1000, they are completely unreadable in less light environment , lucky it has analog display. I want to own one of these square ones and still deciding between the G-5600E-1 it has solar but without multibank 6 and the GW5000 has everything else, and it's made in Japan but it costs around $400 Australian dollars while the G-5600E-1 costs only $120. Also the G-5600E-1 2 yrs warranty compare to 1 year international warranty if I buy the GW5000 . It's some kind of heart over head and vice versa decision for me now. Could you please confirm if the GW-5000 display is less readable compare to other ones as I read a few comments from owners , and one reviewer said so. Thank you Greg.
Just purchased the new GW-M5610U and love the red! Found on Amazon as having damage to the box, who cares, so it was marked down to $73 shipped. Perfect watch. Had to have a GW5000U, also with the new module. Purchased used on eBay from Japan for $198 shipped. You would never know it was used! So prices are great especially the GW-M5610u for that price!
Very nice video. I also have the one with the red stripe. And you are right it is because the price is a lot better than the rest of them. And it has the same features
Passionate review! My GW-5000 and 5610 are my favorite squares in my collection. Analog Frogman in red is my current favorite Casio gaining lots of wrist time.
Hi Greg As a potential buyer I enjoyed your good advice. I also would prefer Tough Solar + Atomic Time Keeping and I think it’s a very good video, focusing on exactly this kind of G Shocks. Choosing between Casios is a jungle - there’s so many of them. So it’s nice to see a comparison by an experienced user. What an I going to choose? Hmm...we will se about that😊
For anyone in 2020 who is interested in these watches and wants something that is simple, not clogged with text on the front, comfortable wristband, and is fully equipped with all the features, then I highly recommend GW-B5600BC-1BER. I personally have no issues with the negative display since this clock comes with backlight. But if you want one with the regular display, then I instead recommend GW-B5600BC-1ER.
Thank you for the great video Greg, it's a well-made, well put together mix of information and level-headed passion. I'm certain there are many of us who understand why you bought so many versions of what would appear to be the same watch, can understand your having "priorities" as to what's next as well - and even why you had to have the negative display model in your collection...
I may not think the way others do, but I think I'd rather have lots of watches in a lot of varieties rather than just a few watches. Maybe I'll get some really expensive watches someday... but then I'll still hold onto these G-shocks anyway! They're great.
Great video and collection - I'm a big G-shock square fan/collector because 1) they are super practical 2) they are fun 3) customizable 4) did I say fun? Love my squares. Now you have to experience the newer GW-B5600s - the new combi 2 bracelet is so light and comfortable. You could get a matte bezel for the GW-M5610BA if you want to run the combi on that watch. I've seen many run the combi on the GW-5000, shouldn't be a problem. I have the combi bracelet on a few SS screwback squares - so comfortable. The nice thing about the GW-S5600 is that it has a Ti back and Ti bolts - reason why it's so light. "I REALLY LIKE THEM ALL"
@@GoodTimekeeper all these squares use different spring bars - you just need to make sure you use the right one (eg. one that is used with combis - which most of the time is 19mm/13mm).
Really enjoyed seeing your collection. I purchased the GW-S5600 yesterday (3/30) and should have it by Tuesday (4/2). I'm also waiting on the GW-S5600B to arrive at some later date. The -S5600B is incoming from Japan. I couldn't find it new anywhere, but that's a small risk I'm going to accept, as I heard the -S5600B is a much more rare version to the -S5600 because of the negative display.
I collect like you. I find a certain watch I really like and I get many variations. I don’t get lots of different style watches. I like the Seiko SNK800 series watches, I had to get all 4 colors. I like the new Seiko land tortoise models, I have the 4th one on the way😅. It was entertaining listening to you try to justify the purchase of all these, no need to justify, we get it😂. I have the 5610u on the way, I hope this does not lead to a collection of square Casios.
Outside of my titanium squares, the GW5000-1JF is my favorite - the strap is so comfortable that I didn’t swap it out with adapters and replace it with a single pass Zulu. It’s hefty with being top heavy and the construction makes the DW5600-E look like a cheap homage. Not to disparage the entry level Square because it’s a tough watch and I proudly wear mine.
The number one complaint that I've read about G-Shocks are about the resin bands, so I bought the standard GWM5610-1, a "JaysAndKays Metal Adapters for GW5000 GBX100 DW5600 GWM5610 Casio GShock", and a nice 22mm Seat Belt Black/Red/Green Nato strap. It added a little over $30 to swap the resin band with a Nato strap, but I was very pleased with the result -- it's very comfortable and the strap's black bands and red pinstripes really match nicely with the display -- it was totally worth it for me.
I love G shock, and I think it's a perfect watch for everyone, but when my eyesight get ageing, I find that they are difficult to read under the sun in some angles than some analogue watches, and the rubber bands seems not as tough as stainless steel, so the new Protrex prg600yb-2 is my favorite. 😊
I like a watch that’s easily legible in all light conditions, I found the GBX-100 with a negative display that IMPROVES its readability under bright sunlight, has up to 3 seconds auto-illumination for darker conditions, very good in normal indoor lighting plus has a handful of other features I like including Bluetooth, all on a super soft, comfortable band. I love mine and it’s affordable. Might be worth a look for you too
Hi Greg! This has been one of the best Gshock review that I have seen in TH-cam. Thanks a lot! Now I am 100% sure wich one I want. My piggy bank will be the only one that will suffer due to your video. ;-)
I didn't have any trouble at all with swapping my combi bracelet out! I actually switched out my negative display module too with the regular positive module from the 5610 with the red border.
Parker Davidson Good to know. I don't know if my fingers are too clumsy to dig into these watches as well as you did. But if I try to swap out bracelets or modules I guess that means I'll be posting more videos!
@Parker Davidson You can also switch just the LCD display, there are a lot of colourways available for GW-M5610 3159 module. Spare LCD is way cheaper than whole module.

Oh, there's the black/orange! That's mine! Well, actually mine is GW-M5600R, and it's made in Thailand, too. Now, what I am really intrigued by now is the whole stainless steel made in Japan GMW-B5000D-1. Silver, regular LCD. But we're talking $500 for a Casio, that's a bit of a stretch, and I am not sure I want Bluetooth.
@@traviswalker8933 Yeah, but I don't want government in my watch. :) Well, I can just disable Bluetooth. Nonetheless, now I am narrowing down on the strapped versions. So it's either going to be GMW-B5000-1, or gMW-B5000G-1, or GMW-B5000G-2. Or two of those. For now I have the black and blue on the radar. Hopefully the watches, not the eye.
You have a clear pronounce that I can understood most of all. Love square gshock and your video, lots of gshock video speak very fast and I cant catch up .
I like how you compare and review things. Please teach other reviewers how to really "review." Because the only thing that they are showing all the time are their faces and not the thing that is supposed to be reviewed. Maybe they just want their faces to be famous. Good work.
Junevene Sadang I try to give the information I would have wanted before I got the thing I’m talking about. And it’s usually easier to talk about my stuff than to talk about myself. I’m glad this approach seems to be working!
Thanks for this video, Greg. Although the watches have changed slightly, the dilemmas have remained the same. What to collect, what to leave out. I have just started collecting the "G-Shock Squares" and like you, I set some parameters, to avoid buying - everything.... So, it had to have solar no matter what, it had to have BlueTooth, because here in Australia, we got rid of our time broadcasts 🙄and I'm trying to stay with the B5000 Series and the 3459 module. I broke all the parameters and got the cheapest solar powered square today, why? Because I needed a "cheapie", one that didn't matter if I got it damaged. There are a couple more stainless steel B5000s, I'd like, then I'll call it quits. No more collecting before it gets out of hand. Cheers 👍
You are missing probably the best - the DW5600e - the display is awesome (maybe best to read from various angles), and most importantly it is the most inexpensive version. I have many watches and I always want to wear this one
5:10 funny thing is I feel the opposite of those people. The red stripe is my favorite aspect, and all the writing. It gives the watch its quirkyness, and the detail is something I enjoy as well. That being said, I see your view as well, as wanting something minimalistic, which fortunately for you they make such models👍
That’s the fun part. There ARE options. I always wonder what it’s like to be Japanese and buy a Japanese watch with so much English writing on it. Maybe they like that. Even the G-Shocks which are exclusively available in Japan look like they’re made for people who speak English.
I’ve got the negative 5610 that you’ve got. I like it but I’ve got the positive display version coming in the post in a few days. I hope the legibility is better.
Sometimes while I am sitting in my chair, I like to look at the face of my g shock and just admire it like a piece of fine jewelry. Watches are functional, but also works of art. Do you watches are stolen because the thief needs to know what time it is?
You can buy original parts from Casio, your older F91 predecessor parts May not be available anymore though but if you are prone to wearing down you straps you may want to get straps and bezel replacements for them now especially for you more expensive versions. The bezel and straps for the GW5000 are really cheap, $7-8 for the bezel and under $20 for the GW5000 straps. You can also get spring bars and the 4 screws that hold the bezel case.
Well, I finally did it-a bit more than a year after I got my first GWM5610 (the commonly-available version in the US, with the red stripe around the dial), I just yesterday pulled the trigger on the GWM5610BC-1JF, the Japanese-market version with the negative display on the Combi bracelet. I’d had my eye on it for months, and felt the itch in my trigger finger especially badly!!
I tried the negative display GW-M5610U-1BER (same face as your GW-M5610BC-1JF) for a couple of years, but found the difficulty of reading it in certain lights hard to live with, so reversed the display by replacing the polarizing filter and am more than happy with it now.
Ever thought about getting the GWX-5600-1JF ? A little flashy with the 4 different colors, but the pictures so don't do it justice , but I'm digging mine ! Cheers ! Great video.....
I've noticed some GW-M5610-1 (GW-M5610-1a) have solar panels of a different colour. It seems the Chinese cased ones have a lighter coloured solar panel whilst the Thailand cased versions have a darker solar panel. The Thailand Casio cased watches seem to be better made than the Chinese cased versions while the Japanese cased versions are the best quality.
Thanks for the amazing review! I have to disagree with a few details though. The negative display is super easy to see, and at night you can always use the green light. The combi bracelet is amazing and that alone a reason to buy the watch, don't overlook it guys
GW-M5610U-1ER(made in Thailand) for European market is just perfect. And even this red line is not so red, but dark red and it looks awesome!!!!
very good👍
The red stripe adds to the accuracy. Mission critical stuff.
The racing stripe makes it faster
The red stripe on the G shock face is like the red grille stripe on a VW Golf GTI -- a nod to the original!
And the Nikon F2
It reminds me of the "Redline" tires from the 60's/70's.
Bought my first G in December 2019....1 year later, I have 16...12 of them squares. LOL. Great video

I remember lcd of my childhood would black out if left in direct sunlight. I just picked up a gw-m5610bc. Love the G-shocks!

I think now you need that ‘all metal square’ next in your collection 😉👍🏼
Word!
Wow! Well, I'll keep saving up my funds.
It's nice to see how close all of the watch times sync up next to each other
I figure folks expect that in my videos. And it’s fun that so many watches can synchronize automatically.
Great video Greg , I have over 125 Casio watches in my collection. About 30 are vintage Casio watches and Casio G-Shock watches. I have 17 square G-Shocks ( GW-M5610PC , GW-M5600R , G-5600B , GW-5610BC , GW-5000 , GW-5610BB --- BLUETOOTH MODELS-GW-B5600BL-1ER , GW-B5600BC-1JF , GW-B5600-2 , GW-B5600-1BJF---NON ATOMIC/SOLAR-DW-5030C , DW-5035D , DW-5035E , DW-5600CMA---VINTAGE-DW-5200C , DW-5600C---CLASSIC-DW-5600E ). Of course I have many RISEMAN , RANGEMAN , GULFMAN , GULFMASTER , MUDMASTER , MUDMAN , ect. watches.
have you got casio CMD-40 1174 remote controlled watch, might put it up for sale if your from the uk, asking £80 for it, plus £5 for delivery, great condition, new battery, buttons all work, metal bracelet fully polished and looking new, almost invisible scratches but great for 21 year old watch, got my sky control programmed into learning mode, so 16 buttons, much better condition than online ones ive seen, tv, vidio player and learning mode, date, day and time, stopwatch, alarm and calculator, if your interested and live in the uk ill list on ebay, if not thats cool too, just really liking the standard watch from this video, lol
My hero!
I like the retro style of the GWM5610-1 and its red stripe. I also installed a new-style combi bracelet to it. The install was very tough to do and I did scratch the case a bit where the springbar engages. While I like the fit of the bracelet, I'm so very glad that it's on a solar watch. I would not look forward to having to remove and reinstall the bracelet after a battery change.
amen!
Thanks for the video Greg. You might want to check out the square full metal. I have the GMW B5000GD. Made in Japan with tough solar and multi band 6. Yes more expensive but fun to wear and comfortable.
A great collection of G-SHOCK squares! The serial number gw-5000 informs us that the piece was made on November 6, 2018.
Tomasz Gołębiewski I loved your videos. I wish I knew how to speak Polish!
The Red Stripe is now pretty much as Iconic as the S on Superman's chest! 😀
Hello Greg just bought 2 G-shocks GW-B5600-1DR for me and my wife the translucent PinkBG169-4. Love all of them
I went through some of the same decisions on selecting which model to get.
Hi Greg,
Just found your chanel!
And of course it's harder to read at an age when one needs to wear glasses just to read anything!!;))
Keep up the good work!!
Greetings from Germany
Frank Schroth
Thank you Greg you're a man after my own heart! I have over 60 watches in my collection and have G Shock that I love. Keep your videos coming my friend.Dr Paul UK.
Love the "squares"! Great review of the different models. I have the basics one.....no solar. Thinking about pulling the trigger, but it runs as advertised.
I just got GW-5000U. Amazing piece and Made in Japan 👊
TheFlyrodder68 Good to know. MAYBE I’ll put another combo bracelet a bit higher on my priority list after all!
THanks for your posting... I am now on the hunt for the GW M 5610 BC - 1Jf Have a great day and ... time will tell!
Nice collections and like the way you're talking about the watch..
In the market for my first G shock. Thanks for this review.
Very nice video. I also have the one with the red stripe. And you are right it is because the price is a lot better than the rest of them. And it has the same features
I didn't think I would like the red stripe at all. But when I got it on my wrist I loved it.
Passionate review! My GW-5000 and 5610 are my favorite squares in my collection. Analog Frogman in red is my current favorite Casio gaining lots of wrist time.
5610 and 5000 which 1 better, 5610 so expensive
Gwm5610 looks the best
Hi Greg
As a potential buyer I enjoyed your good advice.
Hmm...we will se about that😊
5610 is gr8 bro I hope you got that
Man the displays of all the other watches are noticeably better than the GW5000. Brighter and clearer.
Short version: buy the GW-M5610 as your first watch, it'll last forever so no use buying the same model over and over.
I looove the red stripe! It looks just like the original from 1983!!
Greg, you make the best videos on these watches, much appreciated
thanks for the video, nice to see a chanel that stays away from massive priced watches, that you cant freeze drop kick drown drive over throw or burn.
I may not think the way others do, but I think I'd rather have lots of watches in a lot of varieties rather than just a few watches. Maybe I'll get some really expensive watches someday... but then I'll still hold onto these G-shocks anyway! They're great.
Fantastic video! I prefer the classic with the red stripe, and I almost feel like picking up jogging again just to have a good reason to get one!
"I REALLY LIKE THEM ALL"
Luc Albert Good to know! I just wasn’t confident that the combo bracelet was that interchangeable.
Just received my black all metal a week ago. 😍😍😍😍
love to watch this, but I couldn't afford them, maybe I'll just buy the f91w, haha
Amazon review!!! I ordered two of these (5600 & M5610) can't wait to get them in the mail!
I swapped the combi onto my 5610 from the negative display, went on fine. Love them both!!
Just got myself the GW-B5600 with the new combi bracelet. Such a nice piece.
Might be worth a look for you too
Fantastic review Greg, thanks im going for the red one, first G-Shock 😁
Hi Greg! This has been one of the best Gshock review that I have seen in TH-cam. Thanks a lot! Now I am 100% sure wich one I want. My piggy bank will be the only one that will suffer due to your video. ;-)
I must say I thought I had a really great casio collection but yours is absolutely stellar
@@GoodTimekeeper The quality of your videos is fantastic, so I look forward to more videos from you!
@Parker Davidson You can also switch just the LCD display, there are a lot of colourways available for GW-M5610 3159 module. Spare LCD is way cheaper than whole module.
I'd like to see your technique as I had a tough time installing a combi into my GWM5610-1.
@@markthibault8579 There you go. Unfortunately in Polish only, but I hope you'll be able to figure out the way I installed my combi bracelet. In case of any questions feel free to ask.
th-cam.com/video/EwMVXTVPWbk/w-d-xo.html
don't forget the gorgeous glossy black GLX-5600-1JF with tide and moon data...that's my favorite of all these variations
It's useful for regions where you can't use multi-band 6.
Thank you.
Cheers 👍
I think the metal parts of the combi-bracelet will play nicely with the more shiny case(s).
Good video. I think I want the carbon fiber version!
Excellent review & very informative, one of the best square G-shock comparisons I've seen on here.
Thank you.
I'm right here in this rabbit hole with you! Now you need to hunt down a GW-5600J with a 2924 module! TheG!
You are missing probably the best - the DW5600e - the display is awesome (maybe best to read from various angles), and most importantly it is the most inexpensive version. I have many watches and I always want to wear this one
What can I say? I’m drawn to the solar/atomic stuff.
I love the carbon fibre version. Would like to add it to my collection one day.
I’ve got the negative 5610 that you’ve got. I like it but I’ve got the positive display version coming in the post in a few days. I hope the legibility is better.
cool to see the seconds all synced on the multiband watches
Just got my self the 5610
Sometimes while I am sitting in my chair, I like to look at the face of my g shock and just admire it like a piece of fine jewelry. Watches are functional, but also works of art. Do you watches are stolen because the thief needs to know what time it is?
I’ve gotten into trouble at work for looking at my watch too much. “Are you in a hurry to go home?” “No; I just like looking at my watch.”
Mate i do the same! Ill spend hours looking over my collection while my GF thinks I'm nuts! lol
I like the Red Stripe. It reminds me of a Red Lettered Rolex Sub :)
The combi bracelet does work on the 5000, it can just be a pain to get on initially.
Thanks for the info. I was getting worried when he said it needs modding 🥴🤣👍
That 30 year old watch looks a few years old. Casio is a hell of a brand
Love your channel! Among other things, you are a Casio Master!
I tried the negative display GW-M5610U-1BER (same face as your GW-M5610BC-1JF) for a couple of years, but found the difficulty of reading it in certain lights hard to live with, so reversed the display by replacing the polarizing filter and am more than happy with it now.
i have the 5610 and very satisfied with the body and its features.
Informasi yang menarik... Mantap 👍👍
I enjoyed your square madness!!!
I really hesitate about the lovely w 740.
You should get the full metal square!!!
Oh my...I think I'm in love...with GW-M5610KC (olive/army green + orange = ♥♥♥)
Thanks for the amazing review! I have to disagree with a few details though. The negative display is super easy to see, and at night you can always use the green light. The combi bracelet is amazing and that alone a reason to buy the watch, don't overlook it guys
