  • If you have the halogen lights in your Wrangler or Gladiator and you need more light, but don't want to spend a grand on the factory equipment, here's a fantastic upgrade option for you.

    Subscribed. I watched a couple of your videos already, and love the detail you give. Also, well done putting all those foolish people in their place....claiming it shouldn't be done because of light scatter and blinding people....yet they've never tried it first hand or bought the quality bulb like we have, that do provide the proper cut off and beam patterns. Thanks for the quality videos...keep em coming!

    Did you need to reprogram the computer to recognize the new bulbs?

    Wish you would have shown the installation of bulbs.
    Great job

    I installed these led on my gladiator, issue is high beams and low beams are reversed, tried to swap and they can only go in one way. as far as the fog lights , they came on once and never again, sending them back

    Thanks for the video. Would you be able to make another video of the Sport S' (Max Tow) fenders? Jeep's website states that the fenders are a two piece design. Does that mean they are similar to the Overland and Rubicon fenders where the top of the fender can be separated from the bottom fender which houses the LED turn signals?

    • @4-LOW
      @4-LOW  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It does appear they are two pieces. With my fingers I can make the edge move around a bit independently of the main body of the fenders. Maybe I'll take a closer look at those soon.

    • @jonathane8585
      @jonathane8585 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@4-LOW Right on! If both rear and front fenders are separable, I will definitely plan to color match the top side of the fenders for a cleaner look. (Once I get my Gladiator of course). Love your videos man.

    Those are just NINEO lights with 4x the price. $45 on Amazon, not kidding, they're the EXACT same products. So save some money in the future!

    I did an oracle led bulb conversion as my first mod on my JL. I think it's some of the best money I've spent.

      Nope they're amazing. Stay bright month after month. Been using these for a few years now.

    Is it a blue or white hue on the lights? I'm curious if it would match the factory white LED fender lights

    • @4-LOW
      @4-LOW  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      They are very white, but I would say there is a hint of blue hue also.

    quick question: i have about 450 miles on my Gladiator and I am experiencing some slop in the steering wheel, especially as things heat up; about a half inch of free play before any pressure/input to the wheels. I wondered if you have a similar condition or if it is the same thing that you experienced on the JL?

    • @4-LOW
      @4-LOW  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      My JT Gladiator doesn't have much slop in the steering at all. It's actually pretty good. They tend to keep getting better as the mileage racks up and the steering linkages all break in. The JL Wrangler was WAY worse when I first got it.

      @@4-LOW Well as you can probably guess... jeep service said all was within specs... I am a bit skeptical ... so i will just keep an eye on it... after driving Tacoma's for 15 years I don't have a good gauge... thanks for doing your videos.

    So these supervona v4. 's are the same as the Katana led headlight bulbs. You could get them on amazon for 50bucks don't let headlight revolution rip u off. I've bought both and they're exactly the same.

    • @4-LOW
      @4-LOW  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Headlight Revolution just did a video last week showing how they are not the same, and people buying the knock-offs are getting ripped off.

  • @abouttime7316
    @abouttime7316 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    CAUTION TO ALL. I bought these LED Supernova V4 headlights and fog lights for my gladiator and I AM NOT IMPRESSED. NEITHER The headlights nor the fog lights lock in properly. The fall right out with some shaking or wiggling. I had to Macgyver the headlights to lock in. I am keeping the headlights since I did all that work to get them in.
    The fog lights wouldn’t even work, awaiting a refund on them.

      Headlights are H13s, fogs are PSX24s

      What would be next comparable to the supernova bulbs. Not really wanting to spend the $ I bought the Overland with the nav trac-loc rear but has the halogen. That's a lighting option

  • @Silver_sen7inel
    @Silver_sen7inel 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Did you install the PWM module in addition to the led and driver? If not how have the V4 been working ? Any issue with flickering?

    • @4-LOW
      @4-LOW  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The head lights have been fine. The fog lights did have some issues, but the Tazer programmer which I already had anyway can flip this setting in the vehicle computer. So now all my lights work flawlessly with no additional parts.

    I just picked up a SPORT S max tow also. Lights are blah...but I knew that going in. Have you seen the new Oracle replacements? They have a Halo for about $550. Plug and play also what do you think of those in comparison to V.4s?

    Nice comparison.. did you consider the beamtech h13 bulbs. I see a bunch of people are happy with them on the forums.
