    naturally aspirated is better coz it will last longer than a turbo charged engine

      I agree.. So, there's a need to cool down the turbo before shutting off the engine to normalize the engine pressure.

    turbo engines are great if it's a diesel, but if it's a gasoline then I prefer NA since turbo gas engines are less reliable and it needs more oil change than NA gas engines

    To be honest, NA is already becoming a thing of the past already because Turbochargers give more power and potential to small engine displacements. Madaming 4 cylinder turbo engine ang mas malakas kesa sa V6 nowadays which costs less and weigh less and there are also 3 cylinder turbo nowadays na pumapantay na din sa 4 cylinder turbo. Just like F1, they came from V12's to V6's with Turbo which is more efficient and requires lesser cost to run.

      Agree, a good example are the engines of Geely now.. They are 3 cylinders only but turbocharged just like the Geely Coolray, Okavango.. iIt is also expected that NA will fade in volume in the coming years but there are purists that still love NA’s.. The next big thing are EV’s

      Same with turbo charge engine are also becoming archaic as electric cars are more faster as it uses pure energy. They do not need to burn fuel regardless if it is gas/petrol or dirty and noisy diesel.

    There nothing better then a good HP all motor engine. But turbos are fun but not the same feel. It feels well forced. So it don’t feel like natural power . For me I pick a good hp naturally aspirated engine!

    Im using vios NA. Matipid naman. At basic lang ang maintenance.
    I also used to have isuzu fuego NA. Matipid at low maintenance din. If ok ka lang sa normal na takbo ok lang yung NA para sa akin.
    My sister bought a TC and NA dump truck. Same size engine pero malaki ang body at container TC. Yung TC di maka arangkada pag puno kahit pantay lang ng container ang load.

    which is more economical to buy sir considering the very high fuel prices.? I think if we are to consider fuel consumption mas better fuel efficient ung turbo engine..but if we are to consider the maintenance and life span cguro eventually baka mas expensive pa mag maintain ng turbo type engine kumpara sa natuarally aspirated.. kc i really dont know whcih is more economical kung long time na gamitan ng sasakyan sir...

      False naturally aspirated engine tends to have more over heating issues than a turbo one's IF you know how to handle a proper care for you're car, also mazda 3's tends to have more transmission fail than a 2003 toyota corolla. As a owner of a mazda 3 hatch it's a big down fall for me

    Interesting na rin si Terra coz of its new look, more useful features, dashboard set up and naka electronic hand break na rin.

    turbocharging is the solution to increase power output without increasing the size of the engine. Naturally, more air more combustion, more power output. NA engines solve this by having more cylinders, say V6 or V8 configuration.

    If u may sir, kung pwd kong mag share re turbo charged engine topic of yours. I want to add sana other reason why a turbo charged engine gives extra power compare to non turbo charger...it equates with combustion formula/burning inside the engine. We know that to create fire, u need fuel, heat, and oxygen, meaning... the more oxygen there is, the higher the combustion, and more air, more oxygen in the system.

    Ano assessment mo sir sa turbo setup ng Geely Coolray? 1.5L then 3 cylinder lang eh tapos 178hp 255nm torque. Nakakaamaze yung technology niya. Kaso tatagal ba ganoong setup?

      I think with the advancement in technology today, mukhang tatagal naman.,Remember it’s a joint development of Volvo and Geely. Volvo is a trusted brand .

    intercooler functions to make the air more compact (siksik) by cooling it for better combustion. Kasi kung mainit ang hangin, parang pitpit na po (dispersed molecules) so yung efficiency ng boosting (higher volume combustion) drops significantly in time.

      Yung DRLnpo palaging bukas yan basta umandar ang makina. Yung cornering lights naman automatic na nabubuhay pag lumiliko ka tapos namamatay ulit pag diretso na ang taknpbo mo

    There's nothing wrong both engines, they are still good engines, its still our preference if you want more power and fuel efficient go for Turbocharged, If you want old school, easy to maintain and excitement like V6 or V8 go for NA

      a turbocharged engine consumes more fuel. with the increased air volume intake, it means you can burn more fuel. thus, higher power output. it also depends on how many times the injector sprays diesel. standard is 4 times, high power rated diesel engines: 6 times during the power stroke.

    actually, may kanya kanyang pros and cons yan. uso kase ngayon is engine minitiurization, pero they padded it up with a turbo charge. that is helpful kase nasa 1.5L lang naman makina. problem with TC(turbocharged) engine is heat. exhaust kase. kaya nga there are intercooler technology. turbo lag has a little improvent now kase medyo fine tuned na yung mga makina especially for those global brands. also its has more hardware than an NA, but more hardware means more components to possibly break. if your engine is on a V8 and V12 or malalaking displacement na, medyo ok yung NA(naturally aspirated). however, there's also a catch. since it uses atmospheric pressure, medyo hindi na sya ganun ka-energy efficient when it comes to places at a high sea level.
