I have just got mine and have so far have only deprimed and resized a few .410 shells, due to the virus I haven't been able to get my hands on reloading supplies but the XRing reloader looks well made and simple to use. I'm looking forward to reloading all my .410 ammo. The XRing is also smaller and lighter than my 30/30 Lee Loader and easily fits in a pocket.
Hello and thank you for commenting. We appreciate the feedback. With this Virus stuff going on, I understand it is getting harder for shooters to get re-supplied. On thing that I did to get my 410 once fired hulls was; I bought the cheapest loaded shells from Walmart. I let my grandson shoot them for practice and kept the hulls. Now I have just over 100 once fired hulls. This is what I use to make my 00 buck and slug loads. I hope you get supplied, I think you will enjoy using the Survival Loader. It's actually hands-on fun. Best regards. Barry
I just started reloading with mine. The crimps take a bit of practice, but after a couple not great crimps, they are coming out like factory for me. Love this little kit.
I have the 12 ga. and now have this 410 kit. good quality and works great. I don't do a lot of reloading. Maybe several boxes a year. I'm a casual reloader and this is just perfect for me.
We are re-stocked. We have the 410 ga-bore kits back in stock and for sale on our website. Thank you to those who asked to be on the email notification list. We have made those notifications. If we missed anyone, we apologize. Thank you all. Keep being safe. Let’s get America cured and up and running again. Best regards Barry-sales
I appreciate the feedback. I wanted to give people who buy my product the best chance possible for making great ammunition. Beside it being practical, it is also fun making specialty loads. In experimenting, I made some Buck & Ball loads also Bolo style loads. Lots of fun.thank you for the review. Barry
I bought this set and was very happy with its quality. All the components were nice polished aluminum and fit the shell real nice. I made a buckshot shell correctly on the first try and enjoyed it For me the roll crimp tool and a shot over card worked out very well and gave me a neat clean shotgun shell. This product would be a good fit for making slugs, buckshots or just reloading your now hard to get 410hulls that you cant bear-to throw away I was able to fit all the components in a new style Lee flat plastic die box. This included a shot/powder dipper. Roll crimper and Lee Number 16 shell holder.
Teşekkür ederim,,,thank you. Your comment is very much appreciated.....new videos will be coming later this year on this channel. My best regards,,,,,,,,,Barry
Thank you for writing. Yes. You are correct. In testing we use very hard hits. Never had one discharge. Kinda like when a semi-auto pistol chambers a live round. The slide face hits the primer. But, it is smooth and flat. It needs a point like that of a firing pin to set it off. Please feel free to write/comment anytime. We like feedback. Especially if it helps to improve the product. Best regards. Barry
UPDATE::: We are updating the 410 gauge to include the Hornady Crimp Starter tool. This will make crimping even easier at no increase in price. Best regards to all. Barry
barry declined I have the updated Hornady crimp. It works well, when I say crimps aren’t great, I mean the aren’t as factory, but most reloading machines for shotshells are not, even those costing many hundreds of dollars. This kit worked especially well with overshot cards and formerly roll crimped hulls. I’m very happy.
I just purchased this kit, it works well, crimps aren’t great but they work. I would recommend a separate roll crimper, either manual or drill type. A scale is also nice, you can work it with dippers. Dippers however requires a bit of practice. Overall I would purchase it again, this video was the deciding factor for me. Thanks for making it.
Hello Roger. Thank you for your input. I remember your sale. Canada. Glad you took the time to comment. We like feedback and are always more than willing to listen and help. We will be updating our videos in August/Sept with new videos along with updated information and helpful tips. Thanks again Roger. Best regards Barry
barry declined thanks Barry, I’m sure with practice it will only get better. We are shooters don’t need to scrounge eBay anymore for those old Lee loaders you have a great product and in my opinion it is superior to the Lee design especially the roll crimp feature which is not available on the lee. 20 guage please.
Roger Pilon we are working on a 20 ga prototype. When it finally becomes available, our TH-cam subscribers will be notified first. Plus a reduced price to thank them for their loyalty. The roll crimp option with the 410 kit is pretty much limited to those who still have a supply of the paper/fiber hulls. On the thick plastic hulls a roll crimp tool is needed. Those usually involve some kind of electric drill to use. Goes beyond what we the Survival Loaders designed purpose. But. Things can be added to enhance the kit. Please comment anytime. We like to hear both good and bad. Can’t improve the product without your hands on feedback. Remember. It’s up to us to stick together to protect our rights to own. Best regards Barry
The 12 ga. Survival Loader will be available for sale on our Web store about mid. Sept. 2018. We have incorporated the "Hornady" Crimp Starter with this new kit. Testing the prototype show that it makes spectacular re-loads. We will be doing updated videos when this goes live for sale. Our previous customers who purchased the 410 ga. Survival Loader will receive emails to allow them the first offerings. Thank you to all of you who bought and love our 410 ga. kit. And thank you for reviews. Barry
I wish I could get one of these no stores in Edmonton sell any reloading supplies for 410, For me either I have to drive 40 miles to be told sorry, I'm planning on making something close bit wish I could buy one, I don't use credit cards so have to figure out some PayPal or gift card payments.
Hello Garnett. We do sell international. We have sold to customers in the UK, Australia and France. Canada shouldn't be a problem. If you want to purchase a 410 Survival Loader. May you all have a Happy 4th of July with your friends and family. May you prosper and live in peace through-out the rest of the year. Best regards Barry @ The X Ring USA
Graham. I have both and they work great. Its a survival loader, so it's meant to be portable in a survival or emergency.. (try putting a bench loader in your pocket or bug out bag) If you recall the old Lee Loader for the shotguns, they command premium prices when you find one on ebay and this survival loader is way better quality and a well thought out design. I'm guessing the price reflects the machining needed to make it. Only negative is that I bought mine on ebay. It was more money buying it on ebay. Don't know why the price difference but I'm guessing is probably got something to do with the high ebay seller fees. Anyway, I like mine and am glad I bought them.
Hello Robert. Your order was sent out this morning. Should show up on the USPS track by the end of the day. Thank you for ordering. I think you will enjoy it. Feel free to post comments. We like feedback, especially if it will improve the product and help our fellow shooters. It’s us helping each other that keeps our shooting sports alive. Best regards Barry
Good afternoon John. Thank you for commenting. More videos will be coming. Right now we are in the process of relocating to AZ. Again I thank you Best regards Barry
We received our parts. 12 ga. Survival Loaders will again be for sale starting Tuesday morning Oct. 27th. Thanks to all for your patience, Best regards Barry-sales
Oct. 6, 2021 Last week the U.S. Postal Service raised shipping (AGAIN). They also slowed down package delivery as a cost cutting method. Basically; they are charging more to provide less service. We have absorbed this price increase, and have not raised our prices. We ship orders with in 3 business days, excluding weekends & holidays. The rest is up to USPS. Thank you & best regards Barry
This is a great reloading tool,I have the Lee hand loader for a 12 gauge and this .410 design is alot better in my opinion but I still think the lee hand loaders are great as I do own several of them. Any .410 shooter should definitely purchase one of these as you would be so impressed such as myself. Its just a great unit to use and I love the station idea as its just so portable. It took just 8 days to receive this survival loader sent to Australia,Australia customs did open it as they left a letter inside the box to show that it passed our custom laws which I new that already,So anyone from Australia get this kit and I know theres a few of yas that want a good .410 kit. Post was $35 but it was worth it. Thank you for such a great kit,my daughter was straight into it reloading her .410 shells.
Hello everyone, just an update on the 20 ga. Survival Loader. Our CNC facility is finishing up our latest 410 order. The 20 ga. parts are next in line. It takes them about 3-4 weeks to get parts after they get started. Hopefully the wait will be short. We will post when the 20 ga. is available for sale. Those on our notification list will be sent an email. Thank you to all that were asking. The times “a-comin” Best regards. Barry
I bought the .410 reloader. The swage tool is different than the video. I am a pretty strong guy, and cannot push the tools together hard enough to get the final crimp to work correctly, and I thinks its because the Pre-crimper tools are not the same as the video. They just dont fold the crimp in far enough. Everything else worked perfectly. Maybe I just need practice. The quality of the parts were outstanding. I ordered the roll-crimp tool, perhaps that will help out when it arrives.
I had the same problem,.. it turned out to be ok with practice... apparently the video is their first generation kit.... I contacted them and they said the generation 2 kits that have been out for the past 2 years are a much better kit,.. I have the newer kit,,,they said the crimp and swager thingy made a big improvement.,,,, I think it was just me needing to get the right feel..... but,,,they told me that if I was not satisfied that I could return it for a refund...... at least they are honest in that regards...... hope it works for you,,,,I'm getting great crimps now.....Roy 😀
Great product and very clear instructions! It's simple, light weight and a good way to save money and help the environment by recycling! Any other gauges in the works?
@@KC0FZZ thank you for the kind comments. As you probably know. Currently we have just the 3 most popular gages. 12 ga - 20 ga - and 410. Eventually, we would like to also have the 16 & 28 ga. But, that is down the road. Again, thank you for commenting. Best regards Barry
Update: The new 20 ga. Survival Loader kits are now available. A big thank you to all who commented with suggestions. Some have been incorporated in the new kits. We listened. The new kits are upgraded to be more user friendly. We added a "Swage Tool" to aid with smoother chambering. Again, thanks to all who contributed. My best regards. Barry thexringusa.com
Good morning. In answer to your question. NO. Please. NO. Do Not use any mallet or hammer on a Live or Loaded shell. Once you have powder in the case. DO NOT use anything to strike or hit a live round. The crimping process is by Hand Only. Hitting live or loaded shells is a disaster waiting to happen. And happen it will. Keep your eyes, Keep your fingers. Stay alive. Please don't give the "anti-gunners" more reason's to use against us. They already make the claim that reloading is unsafe and should be banned. Reload smart, reload safe and enjoy the benefits. Hope this information helps. Best regards. Barry
Why not use those blue wads under the shot, inside the shot cup? I would think that all interference from the wads against the shot would be eliminated. I just bought my 410 loader. I will let you know how I do. Components are severy lacking these days but I am slowly finding shootin materials. Thanks for helping keep the 410 alive.
Thank you for commenting Ron. Slowly, very slowly. stuff is coming back. I actually reload my 209 primers and my pistol primers. I get the priming mixture stuff from 22lrreloader.com. I think he calls it "prime-all". As for wads. so, so many different way to reload the shells. some people do not us any wad, others us various kinds. Just depends on your needs and taste. I thank you again for taking the time to write. Best regards. Barry
Just a pice of information to help those who have our Kits. This is a re-loader. It is Intended to re-load "Previously Fired" shells. If you are trying to load New Hulls/cases, it will be difficult to establish a good crimp.. New Shells do not have an established factory formed Crimp Line. If you are having trouble, please get hold of me through the company website: thexringusa@yahoo.com. I will be more than glad to help you out and help you get great Star Crimps. Below is some of the Feed Back we receive. There is much more in the comments below. Update from Barry at The X Ring USA llc The 410 Survival Loader kits are temporarily out of stock. Our CNC machining facility has closed due to the Virus emergency. (the 410 kits and newly coming 20 ga. are on hold pending getting parts) We are well stocked with 12 ga. kits. These are currently available. As a result of this Pandemic: Some people discovered that having the ability to reload ammunition at home, beats standing in-line at a Gun Shop; only to find they are sold out. This is why the Survival Loader was developed. Ultra-Portable, easy to use, and the ability to reload ammo in an emergency. Hopefully this Virus emergency will be short lived. Until that time; may you and yours be Blessed to get safely through this Pandemic. My best regards. Barry (co-owner)
Yes we are still in business. For those that have asked that question. Yes, we are running full speed to keep up with orders. The link to our webstore is active. thexringusa.com email address: thexringusa@yahoo.com

Hello James. This should not be a worry. Your hand is soft. The primer needs an impact to discharge. As you see in the video; the hand is only holding the shell in place. It’s not being struck. Hope this helps. Please feel free to write. Best regards. Barry
James Boland You are welcome. Also feel free to contact us at our email address. thexringusa@yahoo.com Sometimes it’s the quickest way, especially if you need help. We would be able to explain more and provide photos when needed. Barry

This is a reply I posted two someone who claimed the "ammo shortage" was nearly over. Thought it might be interesting to share:::::::::::::::::::::::: There never was a shortage. Shooters in Canada had plenty of US made stuff on the shelves and so did buyers Internationally. (go online and check out the Canadian stores) What we have ; is ammunition makers setting us up for the new Prices. When you see ammo that used to be $12 bucks or less now selling for $29 or more, you will think its' a bargain. This is nothing but "price resetting". I was at a major sporting good store just last week. They were at about 1/2 the capacity of ammo on the shelves. Actually they had a fairly good amount. . ,223/556 was $44.95 for a box of 20. This used to be under $5 bucks. When i asked the manager about the prices, he said they are paying 3 times the old "wholesale prices" to the manufacturers. SO This is about the ammo makers just resetting the price and making you glad to pay it. Willing to pay $29.95 for. box of ammo? When you cave, they will have plenty for you to buy.
G'Day from Australia, Your instructional video was very clear and easy to follow. I recently bought a single shot 410 shotgun after shooting 12gauge for over fifty years. The last time I took out the SxS12g, I kept wondering why I was lugging the weight and did I need its oomph for shooting close range rabbits. The little 410 will get the job done when used within it's limitations. Very interested in buying this reloading kit. Our gun laws here in OZ can be a little illogical at times. I'm a little concerned that Customs might seize the kit when it comes into the country. Have you sent one to Australia? Thanks for the video. Cheers, Steve
Good afternoon Steve. Here in old Arizona its the day before Christmas. Yes. We frequently ship to Australia and New Zealand. So far, your Customs process has not been a problem. Contact us at thexringusa@yahoo.com for the specific information needed to ship an International order. The shipping rate to Australia is $41.70 USA. @@barrydeclined2547 Good Morning Barry, Due to the time difference, it is Christmas Day here. That's very encouraging about shipping to Australia and having no problems. I'll get the Christmas/New Years holiday time out of the way before looking into placing an order. for 12 ga. I use Titewad. I like H110 powder for the 410. It works great for the 410 and for my 45 Colt. As for how powder weight. That is a big variable. It depends on the weight of the shot load. I have several different loads. Each with different amounts of powder. Best that you go online to one of the reloading site to see what they recommend for load data. Hodgdon has a great online resource date site. Best regards. Barry
Thanks for the videos! Bought your survival loader and really enjoy it. I notice you dont use the included "red" star crimp tool. Where does that come in?
Good evening: The '"red" tool is a Hornady Crimp Starter. In the video I am using our original tool which I personally like. That said. We updated our kits about a year ago and now included it in our Kits. While it costs more to include; at the same time It cut down on manufacturing time. So, it was a trade-off. The 12-20-410 gage kits all now have the Hornady Crimp Starter. Some people like them, some like the original. We also have them for sale as an accessory to add to a kit. It is a nice addition since the 12 & 20 ga. shells come with different point crimps, depending on manufacturer. So, we offer them in 6 point and 8 point. The 410 is 6 point only. Hope this helps. Feel free to write me if I can be of more help. Thank you for commenting and best regards Barry
Good evening Shane. There are so many other roll crimp tools out there that it would not be something to offer. I bought my roll crimp tools on Ebay. Only problem is they need an electric drill or drill press to really do a nice job. Sorry to disappoint. Best regards Barry
Looks good except for that ugly star crimp. Is the inside of the crimp starting tool actually patterned like on a real shotgun reloader (Mec Spidex, etc.) or not? The video and images on website do not reveal this.
Hello and thank you for writing. NO. The 410 kit crimp starter does not have internal grooves like a commercial crimper. In the 410, we found that 2 commercial crimpers would be needed to make a Reloading machine quality crimp. Many Reloading Presses require 2 crimpers. (a starter & a set crimper) This adds additional steps. (in 12 ga. this is not an issue- we included the Hornady crimper in that kit) Since this is an Emergency-Survival loader, we felt the extra steps and the costs not warranted, That said, a commercial crimper(s) may be purchased separately and added to the 410 kit. In our testing, we found the commercial crimper did not make a significant difference with the 410. I do agree that a Reloading Press with the commercial grooved crimpers does provide superior reloads, That said;, In an emergency, when you need ammo quickly; Pretty is way down the list after speed of manufacture and reliability. The Survival Loader offers affordability with an acceptable compromise, in a small package. Best regards Barry
Good morning BK No. All metal shells would not work very well. This is designed for regular shotgun ammo. Brass/metal bases and plastic hill. If you would like to send me an email, I have detailed information as to why all metal won’t work. Be glad to send it to you. Email me at: thexringusa@yahoo.com Be glad to share it with you. As you know. Components like Primers, powder and such are different to find. I use any standard 209 primer I can find. Wads, In 410 I get Clays from Ballistic Products. In 410, I like H110. It also doubles for my 45 Colt. In the other gages it depends on what I am loading. Game shot, buck or slugs. Each will take different powders, wads and powder charges. But. All use a 209 primer. That’s a commonality with them. Good loading data can be found online from the Powder manufacturer. Or, find a current reloading data book. Hope this has been of some help. Best regards….Barry
Hello JD. I have loaded the all brass MagTech 410 cases with my personal kit. Here is what I found. 1: Most of the cases just slipped into the Size Die with finger pressure. So, you would not be able to do the resizing step. 2: Decapping. The pin on the decap rod is the larger diameter to remove 209 shot shell primers. The MagTech case has the small pistol hole and you would not be able to remove the primers. I had to buy a LEE decap rod for pistol primers. Other than those issues, I was able to load my MagTech cases. I couldn't crimp the brass. I used an "overshot" wad and sealed the end with lacquer. They worked just fine. But, if I needed to resize them, I cant. RCBS sells a "Cowboy Action" Size Die made for the all brass cases. It also has the right Decap rod. Kinda pricey, but if you are doing a lot of brass cases, I might be worth the money. I would love to sell you our Survival Loader kit, but for all brass cases, you would be waisting your money. I hope this information helps. Feel free to contact me if I can help. Best regards Barry

Hello Mark: Canada. Yes, the Canadians are stocked with US made components. I have a post further down from a few weeks ago that addresses this issue. In my opinion, the US shortage is fake. I magine if we were at war. Wow, no ammo from Winchester, Federal, Hornady or the rest. I think not. Anyway, rather than rant on, please search further down for my post on the Shortage and the Canadians getting ammo and reloading components. And, you can check for yourself. Go to one of the many Canadian online stores such as: bullseyenorth.com or sporteque.com Thank you for posting. It is appreciated, Best regards Barry
I found it and decided to re-post. QUESTION::::: Is the Primer & Powder shortage real, or another "gun control" method? Why is Canada getting USA made powders & primers when shooters in the US market can't? The Canadian don't seem to have a problem getting American made reloading supplies and ammunition. Primers from Cci and Winchester are available in Canadian stores. :::::::::::::::::::::See for yourself::::::::::::::::::::::::: Here is just one of the many Canadian shops. sportegue.com or bullseyenorth.com and many others. Even the big 2 here in the USA (cabalas & bass pro) don't have ammo, powder or primers for sale. One reason the US manufacturers claim for the shortage is: millions of 1st. time gun buyers bought the ammunition. QUESTION::: Did they also become 1st. time reloaders? And why can't foreign Primers be imported to fill the gap? Brands such as Seller Bellot, RWS, Fiocchi, have boxer primers, not just burdan. I guess there must have been a lot of 1st time gun buyers and reloaders in Europe. Either way: Maybe I am wrong, I have been wrong on things before. But for now, it's my opinion this is made to order shortage. What do you think
Loove the product. Went to website to buy it and I find it very overpriced. I wish I could buy it but I could buy a bench top re loader for cheaper. If it was cheaper if buy it in both .410 and 12 gauge.
Hello sir I recently bought one and have used it according to the directions. But when I try to chamber a sized shell it will have to be forced in. Also I think my crimp might be off because my hybrid crimp bells out the shell. How do I fix this?
Good morning. First let me say, you will not be stuck if you find our product isn't for you, You have our 30 day return/money back warranty. Just contact us via the email address for return information. ( thexringusa@yahoo.com ) Now, to address the issues you are experiencing. It sounds like you have correctly assessed the problem. The swelling or bulging of the case mouth after it has been crimped. But, let's find out for sure. First we need to determine if it is the bulging on the crimp or the sizing on the metal base. Take another shell case and do the Full resize process. Then cut off the plastic part of the hull right above the brass metal. Now you will have just the metal base. Insert the metal base into the shotgun's chamber with finger pressure. if it goes in with slight to moderate finger pressure, then the problem is not with the base resizing. The bulging or swelled case mouth is what is keeping the case from seating. To reduced the bulge, insert the shell into the "crimp form" tool. (the end with the concave opening) and push firmly. Also rotate at the same time to help reduce or remove the bulge. You can also use the Hornady Crimp starter to do the same. This should help. All that said; If you decide our Survival Loader is not working to your expectations, feel free to use the warranty for a refund. Please contact us at thexringusa.com We have now moved to a new address in Arizona. We will send you instructions for the return and refund. You worked hard for your money. we refund it if you are not satisfied. Feel free to contact me anytime. The email address listed on your Instruction Sheet is the quickest method. Best regards Barry
Hello John: You are correct. New cases do not crimp well. This is designed as a "Re-Loader". New shells do not have established crimp folds to make a decent crimp... As a Re-Loader you will need to use previously fired shells. Those will work great. They will reload & crimp very nicely. We advertise the Survival Loader is for use on previously fired cases. I hope this help to clarify why a New case does not crimp well. Your comment is appreciated. Best regards Barry -account & sales
One thing that might help make a crimp fold on brand new unformed shells……. Thinning the case mouth with the “skive tool” that you can get from Ballistic Products. It is designed to do this exact job. New cases are thick. Skiving makes the hull mouth thinner to help it fold easier on new unformed cases. It’s an option I thought I would mention to help. Please update me and share how you do with all this. Other re-loaders will find your results interesting. Barry

My .410 loader arrived this week. Very easy to use and great quality well worth the money. Barry I was wondering have you had any experience with these: www.ebay.com/itm/410GA-wad-cutter-pellet-bullet-mold-AS-Lyman-style/292198322361 Wad Cutter Pellet Slugs. I would like to able to reload these slugs other than just being limited to shot loads. If possible could we discuss the reloading data that you used for the reloading demonstrated in this video, as well as possible reload data that you would recommend for these pellet wad cutter slugs. My powder of choice is the Alliant 410. I am looking at the lyman reloading data for the 410 2 1/2" Winchester HS plastic cases. For 1/2 oz. shot loads it says 12.5 grains charge. However, the description for the pellet wad cutter slugs says they weigh 117 grains (a bit more than a 1/4 oz). Since the slug weight is less than a 1/2 oz, would I still use the same 12.5 grain charge if not what should the charged be reduced to? Thanks Isac H.
Hello and in answer to your question. Each kit is different. One kit does not do all the gauges. Plus, we have different kits such as the Basic 12 ga. and 20 ga. or the premium 12 ga and 20 ga. kits. All depends on your needs. I hope this information helps. Please feel free to write if you need more information. Thank you for commenting. It is appreciated. Best regards Barry
@@atubeviewer4942 the one 410 kit loads both 2-1/2” and 3” shells. The 12 ga. and the 20 ga are different since the gauges are different. Even the older and very popular LEE Loader had different kits for the different gauges. If you find a LEE Loader for the shotgun, they are usually over $100 on ebay. The one by Paco Kelly at leverguns. com is also more expensive. We feel that the quality, usability and our pricing is less than competitors. I hope this helps to answer your concerns. Barry
Good morning Matt For the 12 ga. you need a 3/4” punch. We do not sell them. The one in the demo video was bought on ebay. It was fairly inexpensive. They are a leather “hole” punch. You might look at Tandy Leather online or ebay. 410 ga. Is 13/32”. 12 ga. Is 3/4” Hope this helps. Best regards Barry
Hello Romin. We now ship to several European countries. The Netherlands is now one of them. The issues we ran into was getting the different Country Customs to let us know if our product was allowed. Our webstore is set up for sales to the USA only, due the free shipping default in the web program. Netherlands Customs cleared our first order to a customer just this last month. That said, his feedback reported the Netherlands Custom duties and taxes were rather expensive. If you want to place an International order to the Netherlands, send us an email with your city and zip code for a shipping quote. We will then send you the information needed to place the order. We handle the Customs form at no charge. Different countries have different shipping rates. Hence the need to send us an email to get an accurate quote. email: thexringusa@@t Hope this information helps. Best regards. Barry
outstanding. please let me know how you like it. are you going to use it for casual reloading or as a survival bug-out loader in the field or at the range?thanks. Barry
Still here. Just been busy with running the business. Going to start up dating all our videos next month. Can’t believe it’s been so long since we started. I remember when you got your Survival Loader and did the review. You were the first and it was appreciated. Please stay in touch. Barry. 👍😃
---The correct is Bore. But barrels are also marked as Ga. (see my pic in the circle, Mossberg 410 barrel) It has both. Probably to make it “idiot proof”. But Bore is what it actually is amongst knowledgeable shooters. Please feel free to comment on things. We have many shooters who also learn. Best regards Barry

:::::::::::::::::::::See for yourself::::::::::::::::::::::::: Here is just one of the many Canadian shops. www.bullseyenorth.com/reloading-primers Even the big 2 here in the USA (cabalas & bass pro) don't have ammo, powder or primers for sale.
@@mariofernandez8462 410 kits are $89.95. But the company does not ship to countries in South America. It would need to go to a USA address. Best regards….Barry
Good morning. Addressed this issue before. CORRECT. It is Bore. But. Firearms makers and people also use gauge. I have pictures of 410 Shotguns marked as gauge. But. Bore is the actual term. Best regards. Barry
Good morning. Thank you for your comment. Yes, in the technical sense you are right. Today however, Shotguns can be found marked on the barrel as 410 bore (especially in Europe) and 410 ga.. Currently, many modern US manufacturers (mossberg for one) mark their barrel 410 GA.. As for ammunition. Most ammunition found in stores today is marked as either just 410, or 410 ga. Since our product is for reloading of ammunition, we use 410 gauge. Both terms are correct. We thank you, and encourage readers to share their expertise. Sharing your knowledge helps make informed shooters and reloaders. Firearms history is most fascinating and most everyone has something to contribute for us all to learn and enjoy. Best regards Barry
Good morning: We use Paypal as our one point payment system. From previous experiences, we find that they have a good fraud protection program for both the Buyer, and for us the seller. Plus, Paypal accepts most major credit cards for the buyers convenience. We use their USPS shipping label program to print the postage labels. We get a nice discount on the postage and pass that on to the customer. One reason we can off "free shipping". We get a reduced shipping rate and absorb the rest of the cost. We also sell International. They provide the program for Currency Rate conversions. Its' easy for people to sign on and they can cancel if they don't want to stay with a Paypal account. All of this is free for the buyer. We also offer mail in orders as an alternative. We also have an associate who has our product posted on Ebay as an alternative. Sorry to disappoint, I hope this information helps, Best regards. Barry
Just had a thought: Yesterday (fri) I had to call Paypal customer service. Almost no wait time. If you call them, i'm sure they can help you with your old account. I buy things online just like you do. I use Paypal because its easy and in the past they dealt with a couple of purchases that were fraudulent. I didn't loose my money. Give them a call, I think they might be able to help. Barry

Hello Vincent:
Thank you for the feedback.
It is appreciated. Glad to know you are happy with your Survival Loader. 👍
Best regards. Barry
Awesome. I have been loading for over 20 years recently i was looking for a .410 lee loader and came across this. By far way better than a lee loader
Scott. The new 12 ga. Survival Loader is now for sale on our website. thexringusa.com.
thought you might like to know.
On thing that I did to get my 410 once fired hulls was;
I bought the cheapest loaded shells from Walmart.

Saw this on eBay, had to see the video. Very well made video. Very direct and informative. Seems to be a well made tool. Thanks
I made a buckshot shell correctly on the first try and enjoyed it
For me the roll crimp tool and a shot over card worked out very well and gave me a neat clean shotgun shell.
This product would be a good fit for making slugs, buckshots or just reloading your now hard to get 410hulls that you cant bear-to throw away
I was able to fit all the components in a new style Lee flat plastic die box. This included a shot/powder dipper. Roll crimper and Lee Number 16 shell holder.
Thank you for sharing. Especially about the LEE box. That’s a great tip for the readers.

You have to file out one side to get the block to fit correctly, but it works perfectly
Salut from Türkiye. Thank you for reload videos.
Teşekkür ederim,,,thank you. Your comment is very much appreciated.....new videos will be coming later this year on this channel.

I like the inherent safe of the primer station shielding you from a problem should one go off.

UPDATE:::
We are updating the 410 gauge to include the Hornady Crimp Starter tool.
Where can I purchase this?
@@martinduarte818 eBay
I just purchased this kit, it works well, crimps aren’t great but they work. I would recommend a separate roll crimper, either manual or drill type. A scale is also nice, you can work it with dippers. Dippers however requires a bit of practice. Overall I would purchase it again, this video was the deciding factor for me. Thanks for making it.
Hello Roger. Thank you for your input. I remember your sale. Canada.
Glad you took the time to comment.

barry declined thanks Barry, I’m sure with practice it will only get better.

Graham. I have both and they work great.
Its a survival loader, so it's meant to be portable in a survival or emergency..
(try putting a bench loader in your pocket or bug out bag)
If you recall the old Lee Loader for the shotguns, they command premium prices when you find one on ebay and this survival loader is way better quality and a well thought out design.
I ordered mine over the weekend and just waiting for it to come

Update from Barry at The X Ring USA llc
The 410 Survival Loader kits are temporarily out of stock.
Our CNC machining facility has closed due to the Virus emergency.
(the 410 kits and newly coming 20 ga. are on hold pending getting parts)
We are well stocked with 12 ga. kits. These are currently available.

to reload ammunition at home, beats standing in-line at a Gun Shop;

This is a reply I posted two someone who claimed the "ammo shortage" was nearly over. Thought it might be interesting to share::::::::::::::::::::::::
There never was a shortage. Shooters in Canada had plenty of US made stuff on the shelves and so did buyers Internationally. (go online and check out the Canadian stores)
What we have ; is ammunition makers setting us up for the new Prices.
SO
This is about the ammo makers just resetting the price and making you glad to pay it.
Willing to pay $29.95 for. box of ammo?
When you cave, they will have plenty for you to buy.
G'Day from Australia,
Your instructional video was very clear and easy to follow.
Cheers,
Steve

Awesome bit of kit.
What powder and how many grains did you use?

Thanks for the videos! Bought your survival loader and really enjoy it. I notice you dont use the included "red" star crimp tool. Where does that come in?
Good evening:
The '"red" tool is a Hornady Crimp Starter.
Thank you for commenting and best regards

I bought my roll crimp tools on Ebay.
Only problem is they need an electric drill or drill press to really do a nice job.
Sorry to disappoint.
Best regards
Barry
For those that have asked for a link to our Webstore.
Here it is and thank you.
thexringusa.com
You can get hand roll crimpers from russia, they fit in the pocket and requires no drill. Work pretty well.
I will take a look at them. thank you for letting me know.
Order where?
Looks good except for that ugly star crimp. Is the inside of the crimp starting tool actually patterned like on a real shotgun reloader (Mec Spidex, etc.) or not? The video and images on website do not reveal this.
Hello and thank you for writing.
NO. The 410 kit crimp starter does not have internal grooves like a commercial crimper.
In the 410, we found that 2 commercial crimpers would be needed to make a Reloading machine quality crimp. Many Reloading Presses require 2 crimpers. (a starter & a set crimper)
This adds additional steps. (in 12 ga. this is not an issue- we included the Hornady crimper in that kit)
Since this is an Emergency-Survival loader, we felt the extra steps and the costs not warranted,
That said, a commercial crimper(s) may be purchased separately and added to the 410 kit.
In our testing, we found the commercial crimper did not make a significant difference with the 410.
I do agree that a Reloading Press with the commercial grooved crimpers does provide superior reloads,
That said;, In an emergency, when you need ammo quickly; Pretty is way down the list after speed of manufacture and reliability.
The Survival Loader offers affordability with an acceptable compromise, in a small package.
Best regards

Will the kit do short brass and tall brass plastic shells 410?
Good morning BK
No. All metal shells would not work very well.
This is designed for regular shotgun ammo.
Brass/metal bases and plastic hill.
If you would like to send me an email, I have detailed information as to why all metal won’t work. Be glad to send it to you.
Email me at:
thexringusa@yahoo.com
Be glad to share it with you.

What primers, wads, and powder are you using?
Thank you so much
I am trying to find a permanent solution. Would this work with the MagTech brass 410 shells? Clearly not all the steps are needed in those shells.
Best regards

Hey Barry got my loader and it is great. Where do you get the little powder vials you are using for pre-measured amounts?
I get them from DHgate. they are a supplier out of China. but, to get the best price you have to buy a large quantity. you can also get vials of different types on Ebay in smaller quantities.they will also be on my web site in 2 weeks.
here is one ebay source for the vials that have the attached screw on caps that you see in my video. don't know if they are still being offered. 1 item sold by ayla-jondalar 2mL Plastic Vial Tube 100 Count Sample Storage Container Crafts Fragrance Beads 2mL Plastic Vial Tube 100 Count Sample Storage Container Crafts Fragrance Beads

This applies to International sales only:
Normally we ship to International customers.
However;
Due to the Virus lockdown, and the rising case numbers, we had to again suspend International shipping.
A dealer is posting Survival Loader Kits on Ebay.
Ebay still ships Internationally through their Global Program.
This is a temporary alternative until such time the Virus emergency clears.

Looking for a 10 gauge one
While we don't have one for the 10 ga, you might try another manufacturer called "Lanes Reloader".
You would have to do an internet search. If I recall, they made a 10 ga.
They have a totally different system than ours, but it may be something you can use.
Hope this is helpful.

Where do you find primers an powder guys. NOWHERE
Hello Mark: Canada. Yes, the Canadians are stocked with US made components.
I
have a post further down from a few weeks ago that addresses this issue.
In my opinion, the US shortage is fake.
I
magine if we were at war.
Wow, no ammo from Winchester, Federal, Hornady or the rest.
I think not.
Anyway, rather than rant on, please search further down for my post on the Shortage and the Canadians getting ammo and reloading components.
And, you can check for yourself. Go to one of the many Canadian online stores such as:
bullseyenorth.com or sporteque.com
Thank you for posting. It is appreciated,

I found it and decided to re-post.
QUESTION:::::
Is the Primer & Powder shortage real, or another "gun control" method?
Why is Canada getting USA made powders & primers when shooters in the US market can't?
The Canadian don't seem to have a problem getting American made reloading supplies and ammunition.
Primers from Cci and Winchester are available in Canadian stores.
:::::::::::::::::::::See for yourself:::::::::::::::::::::::::
Here is just one of the many Canadian shops.
sportegue.com or bullseyenorth.com and many others.
Even the big 2 here in the USA (cabalas & bass pro) don't have ammo, powder or primers for sale.
One reason the US manufacturers claim for the shortage is: millions of 1st. time gun buyers bought the ammunition.
QUESTION:::
Did they also become 1st. time reloaders?
And why can't foreign Primers be imported to fill the gap?
Brands such as Seller Bellot, RWS, Fiocchi, have boxer primers, not just burdan.
I guess there must have been a lot of 1st time gun buyers and reloaders in Europe.
Either way:
Maybe I am wrong, I have been wrong on things before. But for now, it's my opinion this is made to order shortage.
What do you think
Loove the product. Went to website to buy it and I find it very overpriced. I wish I could buy it but I could buy a bench top re loader for cheaper. If it was cheaper if buy it in both .410 and 12 gauge.
Do you make a reloading kit for 38spl?
Hello Rich. No, we do not manufacture for pistol or rifle cartridges.
We only have the kits for Shotgun reloading.

( thexringusa@yahoo.com )
Now, to address the issues you are experiencing.
All that said;
If you decide our Survival Loader is not working to your expectations, feel free to use the warranty for a refund.
Please contact us at thexringusa.com We have now moved to a new address in Arizona. We will send you instructions for the return and refund. You worked hard for your money. we refund it if you are not satisfied.
Feel free to contact me anytime. The email address listed on your Instruction Sheet is the quickest method.

Thank you very much I shall try that when I have some more hulls available
Try using that tool on a new shell it’s a lot harder and just impossible to load a new shot shell .
Hello John:
You are correct.
Best regards
Barry -account & sales
@@barrydeclined2547 I’m got to use a heat gun to warm up the case and see if that helps . If not then guess I will use a roll crimp on them .

Barry.
Thanks
Isac H.
Can you get multiple gauges (410,12- 20/12- 410,20,12) kits or we have to get each separate kit?
Hello and in answer to your question. Each kit is different. One kit does not do all the gauges. Plus, we have different kits such as the Basic 12 ga. and 20 ga. or the premium 12 ga and 20 ga. kits. All depends on your needs.

@@barrydeclined2547 so 1 for 410, 2 1/2", 1 for 410, 3", same for 12, 20, etc? At 70.00-80.00 each kit?
@@atubeviewer4942 the one 410 kit loads both 2-1/2” and 3” shells.
The 12 ga. and the 20 ga are different since the gauges are different.
Even the older and very popular LEE Loader had different kits for the different gauges.
If you find a LEE Loader for the shotgun, they are usually over $100 on ebay.
The one by Paco Kelly at
leverguns. com is also more expensive.
We feel that the quality, usability and our pricing is less than competitors.
I hope this helps to answer your concerns.

I am in WA. Looking for 12 gauge punch tool. do you have them?
Good morning Matt
For the 12 ga. you need a 3/4” punch.
We do not sell them. The one in the demo video was bought on ebay. It was fairly inexpensive.
They are a leather “hole” punch. You might look at Tandy Leather online or ebay.
410 ga. Is 13/32”. 12 ga. Is 3/4”
Hope this helps.

Barry Declined my order to the Netherlands.. :((
Hello Romin.
Hence the need to send us an email to get an accurate quote.

.410 BORE ( not gauge)

But barrels are also marked as Ga.

Probably to make it “idiot proof”.
But Bore is what it actually is amongst knowledgeable shooters.

.410 BORE not 'gauge'.
Good morning.
Addressed this issue before.
CORRECT. It is Bore.
But.
Firearms makers and people also use gauge.
I have pictures of 410 Shotguns marked as gauge.
But.
Bore is the actual term.
Best regards.
Barry
It’s .410 bore, not 410 gauge.
