Thank you so much for this guide. I had tried a few times only really finding a handful of nests. So it was time to get serious as time is running out for the specials in the Wizard's vault. Got my egg , 5:21 segment , Skyward marches Lyhr's Design. Took nearly 3 hours of carefully following this guide to get that far. Managed to snag the 2 remaining Views for Skyward Marches, just need four more for that wizard vault achievement.
Happy to help! Those eggs are tricky, some people have had to check almost every nest before a drop. I think it took me 16 or 19 nests before I got mine (I can’t recall now but I may have actually said it I’m the video 🤔)

The last expansion End of Dragons released fishing, fishing skiffs, these cool Jade bots. This expansion we have the return of a character we haven’t seen in a long time, rift hunting, easier path to Skyscale mount, weaponmaster training which allows use of weapons for your class even if you don’t have that elite (or something like that), wizards vault dailies, and PvE legendary armor is coming (can start working towards it now).

i got to the infusion part and had to revive 20 allies and i did so, after like 40 revived i still havent gotten the infusion and i have no clue what the problem is
I am using the Stargaze skin for my Skyscale it does look brighter on this map, more white glow. Colors :) Celestial Blue (Top-Left dye channel) Electro Lemon (Top-Right) Celestial Blue (Bottom-Left) Bubblegum (Bottom-Right)
That’s what I’m thinking based on the reward I am seeing, however it does unlock another collection and players keep saying something about a skin but I am not entirely sure, perhaps the are referencing the wizard vault as it is one of the special tasks listed there
I've experienced in the bastions of the obscure Waypoint. It's in the right side where I looked arround the nest of skyscale I couldn't find it, why? It happened to me twice my experienced.
So I’m under the impression it’s a random nest for everyone. Some people check a couple nests but most people are checking almost all of them. I believe I have them timestamped so you may just have to check each one, one by one. Hope that’s helps!
I use Blish Hud to find the area of abandon eggs. I went to the area where the eggs are located in the map, eggs was not there but the picture are there on the ground. I just got 3 abandon eggs.🤔 I already collected all the skyscale eggs infusion.

RNG is kicking my butt on this thing and it's starting to drive me up the wall I checked every nest in the Skywatch with no luck, have yet to unlock Amnytas but am worried that that will yield nothing as well at the rate I'm currently going. is it guaranteed after X many nests at all? like, if I am down to the last next, it is 100% going to drop? or do I need to potentially wait for some sort of reset if I don't get the egg?
Nope, this method “A New Friend” achievement is exclusive to the SOTO expansion. There are aspects that will take you to core Tyria or to look for elements found in other expansions but all of those can be found elsewhere too. I’m guessing the step before didn’t take, might need to talk to someone again or read mail (I don’t know off hand what is right before the eggs). If you still can’t see them let me know and I can look further
@@TiffyMissWiffy Yep, when I was gliding down from the spire I wasn't able to see the abandoned nest, and I was unable to see the one after that as well.
So part of the wizards tower is only accessible through the Skywatch map meta, continue on the story and you will get to the Wizard’s Tower as an entire map. Use the portal at the north of The Wizard's Tower (point of interest code to paste into map chat): [&BOYNAAA=] Or you can also use a Teleport to Friend, there’s usually commanders in lfg running rifts in Amnytas. You can join a squad and then use teleport to friend if you have one. You may even find a party in the Wizard’s Tower to do the same
There isn’t one, it’s check once and move on. So if you see a nest you would have missed it the first time. As far as I know no new nests have been added.
From my understanding buying the new expansion allows you a rental Skyscale in the expansion maps. I do know you can unlock the Skyscale via the A New Friend collection (Soto expansion). This unlock Soto masteries. If you wanted the LWS4 masteries you would have to do that collection too.
@@TiffyMissWiffy They reset weekly -- I was on last night and noticed that nests I had searched before were "active" again (and one of them had the egg!)

I *believe* you should be able to get everywhere one way or another when the free Soto Skyscale if I recall correctly. This game was my jam like 10 years ago. I can't believe it still exists and still gets updates.

Use Secrets of O way or go back to season 4?
The SOTO way is much faster and cheaper that the LWS4 way. You will need 12 charged quartz crystals tho (or purchase the pieces of treats on the BLTP)
oh btw for getting old skyscale mastery if you got it with soto you just need to complete all s4 chapters and all pof story
just saying cause i mean the ingame window that tell you this you can easily skip out of it and miss it

Some people had to check every nest, I checked all but like 5 if I recall. The RNG is low but in under the impression it’s in at least one of them.
