Just a small tip. I found that a good place for easy NPC revives is at the Thaumanova Reactor (where you fight the Fire Elemental world boss). NPCs constantly die there so getting 20 revives will be ezpz

I'm still stuck in "Chapter 4", thus not finding my egg in the only zone I have access to, but I'm certain this will be quite useful (though I might have to try purchasing the Ice infusion, since I'm uncertain where the _Bitterfrost Frontier_ is. Luckily, all the others are quite accessible...

About half way to the top for the Skyscale of Air, the skyscale will be allowed to bypass the rest of the puzzle to finish your objective. Watch for the no mounts allowed icon to disappear and scale straight up.
For the Grove one, u can use springer to jump over wall right to wp on entrance, for revive one just do Heart at Blasted Moore WP in Diessa Plateau, plenty to revive. Done it under 3 minutes

That’s fair however I didn’t use it in the jumping puzzle. I mounted and dismounted immediately and walked the jumping puzzle for those who don’t have a Skyscale. I try not to assume everyone has a Skyscale and typically will call out or even show alternative paths. It’s very possible I missed doing that somewhere in that collection and went on autopilot 🤪

Pretty sure that's just Aurenes regalia, it's widely regarded as the easiest leggy item to get and you do it by simply completing the return to achievements
@Tiffy, ty for such a great guide, but I am having an issue as a new player it seems that some of those locations are grey in the map and also you need to complete some part of different stories to get to them, for example yesterday I was trying to follow your guide, got the water and fire no issues, however the ice has become an issue, it seems you need to complete living world 3 until the ice part to unlock the area, I am still trying to figure out how to get there, and the portal still close, I had seen many players trying to get thru the portal but is sealed for them as well, just fyi.
A Skyscale is very very useful and if you do not already have one this is the easier path to getting one but it’s still work. A skimmer is one of the mounts released with the Path of Fire expansion I have the upgraded mastery to allow me to swim underwater.
Hi, may I know the kill counter will be shown once I reached "Blood Hill Camp" or? Cuz yesterday I dont have such kill counter but I have the revive counter. So is it possible if the counter will only appear for one type only or? Newbie to this game and I did some wiki(s) searching, still couldn't find any discussions that related to my current situation.
It’s possible it’s in order of the collection and only one will show up at a time, I don’t recall seeing more than one up when I was doing it. Blood Hill Camp will only show I believe when you are in the area. Hope that helps!

so many places of the infusion locked behind other expansions beside SoTO, which is a hassle to do all of them just to get skyscale. When you unlock the skyscale using SoTO method, the dev expect you to already have and complete living world seasons and HoT, quite the contrary of what i heard this method was supposed to be a "shortcut" compared to the original skyscale acquiring method. If the SoTO method which supposed to be a shortcut expects you to be a veteran who already completed Living World and the other expansions, I can't imagine how much of a drag and annoying the original method would be. This game is so hostile towards newbs, some vistas in core tyria are "locked behind" high places, which requires the springer to get to. When you already acquired the springer in PoF, the mastery points there are "locked behind" even more higher places, so high that i as a newb think that skyscale is the solution to all mastery and hero points put in high places (especially in expansion maps). I just want my skyscale arenanet 😭
Let me know if there’s a spot you are stuck with as there should be an alternative. The core tyria came out before PoF so there were no mounts to get to those vistas and such, there should be an original way. I’m under the impression you should be able to do most everything with just the SOTO expansion and core Tyria (hopefully, I may be wrong as I’m slowly trying to think of all the locations I went for this achievement)

All i done mostly is for unlocking QoL stuff, so i can explore more conveniently. When i'm tired of grinding, i just level up my other alts. Well, the game is surely not friendly, maybe even hostile, towards new players (i felt the game literally said "adios" when i reached lvl 80 😂). It's the nice community and people like you that kept me play the game. So kudos to you, always love your guides. Maybe it's just to early for me to have a skyscale

well, i heard that i can reach the claw of jormag through earthshake waypoint instead, claw of jormag world boss event is in bitterfrost frontier right? As for skyscale of death, the area is unlockable by completing the main story, correct? Done most of the infusions, only ice, earth and death remain 😆
@@TiffyMissWiffyfor drakkar waypoint, i was trying to unlock bitterfrost waypoint unconventionally by travelling there manually since i haven't buy LWS3 and haven't played HoT. Managed to got to Drakkar waypoint all the way from Hoelbrakk, only to find out i was blocked near drakkar by ice crystals since i haven't play LWS3 and HoT, which unlocks journey to bitterfrost frontier
If you don’t have it unlocked you can use the Claw of Jormag world boss instead. Bitterfrost Frontier: Complete Living World Season 3 story A Crack in the Then you can use the portal from Drakkar Spurs (northwest area of Frostgorge Sound). The portal is located to the east of the Drakkar Waypoint across the water
A New Friend Skyscale collection is the Secrets of Obscure expansion. It’s the quicker cheaper way to get the Skyscale. I am also under the impression you’ll have a Skyscale in the SOTO maps and this is to unlock it for all maps
