The replacement of the windows was a marked improvement. I applaud your efforts. I was never crazy about windows of different colors, they're cool and all. But iI prefer the authentic clear look. It delivers a more realistic effect
Indeed. I'm not a big fan of these yellow windows either. I'm planning to do a more realistic custom of the Marzal to make it look more like the real car. And the clear windows will help a lot with that.
I have the same model in basically the same condition yours was before restoration. I have never wanted to restore it, it was my dad's but after watching your restoration makes me want to restore mine. Great job!!
Hi,Johan, what a superb restoration.I like how a clear window is now produced,as that amber one was 'of play value' only.Dinky did a larger version of this car, number 189 if you're thinking of doing a 'little and large' set!
What a.beautiful restoration. I always enjoy your videos restoring old diecast toy cars that otherwise would have been tossed away. My favorite is when the base is screwed back on the body
@@bennie12kaby Thanks! You can find them on Amazon or AliExpress. Just search for 'jewelry welder'. I got an 80 amp welder, but a 30 amp device will already be more than sufficient for axles.
Very nice restoration Johan. Clear screen much better than the Amber screen. I'm glad to see you're enjoying the use of the jewellery spot welder. Cheers Michael
the new windowpart looks great, but cause its not original, why didnt you copy the colors of the original prototype? but its a good resto, i admire your skils
Thanks! That's something I also considered when I had already applied the colour coat. I have a couple more Marzals lying around. Maybe I'll do a proper custom in the future.🙂
It's one model that's sold under different brands. Mine is called 'Ding Xing'. You can find them on Amazon or AliExpress: vi.aliexpress.com/item/1005003271852245.html
Wow!
Brilliant!
Two phrases I enjoy hearing in your videos are “play worn” and “factory reset”!
Thank you for sharing your work!
Thanks! And thank you for watching! 🙂
