That is very nice of you to say. I try very hard not to spoil things in my videos. I don't always achieve that goal, but the attempt is there. Thank you so much for commenting.
This movie was a pretty mixed bag for me. I liked the relationship between Rain and Andy. There were some really cool looking scenes involving the face huggers chasing after the crew. The set design and special effects were great, and so was the film's score. Unfortunately, the script wasn't as good as it should have been. Uninteresting characters didn't seem to be in as much pain as they should have been while being k!lled by the Xenomorphs, the sound in some scenes made it hard for me to hear Andy's dad jokes, the Alien from the first film couldn't have possibly survived out in space from the previous/original Alien movie, the reused lines from previous Alien films were unnecessary and too many characters were underdeveloped. Overall, I did enjoy the movie more than I didn't enjoy it, but it still has a lot of problems. It could have been a classic if a few bad creative decisions had been fixed.
I totally agree with you that this could have been a classic, but I've seen so much bad Alien content I was willing to give it a bit of a pass for being safe and uninspired for a few parts. I don't know why it's so hard for filmmakers to make a great Alien movie, but it definitely seems to be a problem for them.
@@BoomanReviews Yes, and why is it so hard to make a great Predator film? The first two Predator films are great, but everything after that was average to lousy.
@@DannyKnightblade45 I thought Prey was a nice change of pace, but you're right that nothing has really captured the magic of the first two, specifically the original. It might be the Arnold factor. He brings a lot to that movie.
Going into this I was a lil worried for the spoilers, but your execution with your opinion was very satisfying.
Keep up the good work.
