Ummmm...Alien is masterpiece that surpasses this game. Don't get me wrong, the game is a masterpiece in its own right, but nothing surpasses that first film.

This is probably the best Alien game out right now, and even has DLC so you can replay two key moments of the actual Alien movie with all the original cast coming back except Ian Holm
I'm amazed by how beautiful this game looks. There was a lot of attention put into this game to make sure it looked like it perfectly fit into the world of Alien.
LOL you missed the point of the xeno kinda being MIA a bit, up to that point you get good at hiding and the break from this gets you into a more lets say agressive posture only to then have that calm snatched away when the Xeno returns in a big way. This was a design choice on purpose to break your cycle, some loved the break from the constant hiding, others wanted more Xeno.
You could take it that way, but while I was battling the working Joes for multiple hours, I found myself asking, "Hey, isn't this an Aliens game? I'd really like to see and interact with the Alien". I don't feel like I missed the point I feel like the pacing just didn't hit with me. That's obviously subjective though. I like your interpretation and maybe when I replay the game I'll feel the same way, but after my first play through I was left thinking Isolation was overly indulgent. This dude has a lot of criticism for the game and honestly I think hes just trying to be edgy because everyone knows this game is a fucking 12/10. Just play it, take your time, and be invested in the game because its one of those you will remember 50 years from now.
No, I had genuine criticisms, but to each their own. I’m glad you enjoyed the entire game, but I just didn’t. There were long stretches of this game that I found to be boring. I also still said the game was good. I literally said at the end of the video that Isolation would be one of my favorite games ever without some of my complaints. padding is good ..when you can't get enough. Of what your getting....to this day this game is a master peace... In tension..and horror......its unbelievable there is no sequel......yes there's problems . ..but this game is 10 years old ....we have had nothing like it ...since!!! ....il play this game in 20 years time ..and just like alien....it holds up then ...don't play this game if your pussy and need auto saves ...this is for real...gamers

I recently watched Alien Romulus and I have to say, Isolation is the undisputed best Alien media ever made

This game is good. This game in VR is one of the best gaming experiences of my life. Can't wait for Rogue Incursion.
