So how many deaths did you edit out of the final cut of this video? This isn’t 2010 TH-cam anymore, people today understand how being selective with clips and only showing the successes can skew the perception to match what you want it to be. In this instance, you make it look as if you did it first try, while downplaying your abilities by saying you’re “ass as dodging”, in order to paint the picture that even bad players can easily win regardless of their Agility stat. Like with most debates online, people figure out that trying to discredit the other person’s argument (even through disingenuous means) takes less effort than coming up with an actual counterpoint. “I don’t have to prove that I’m right as long as I make everyone else look wrong.” Can you give a reason for why having fewer s on the roll than normal, and needing to level a stat in order to get more, is a _good_ change? If you truly believe that ADP wasn’t a bad feature, then defend its implementation.
- You can pick up your souls and save-quit out of the boss arena - You can farm or cheat in human effigies and use them every try - Point #3 is identical to the first point “A stat that adds more variety to builds” is neither a direct response to my question, which was asking how tying ifames to Agility is a good feature, nor is it a particularly strong reason. If that’s the case, then do you believe it would be fine if they were to add a stat that increases the swing speed of melee weapons, including great / ultra great swords, would also be a good addition? That too would add more variety to builds.
@Phirestar I have multiple live stream vods showing me easily beating bosses with similar ADP levels not to mention I was fast rolling. Not my fault you can't play as good as me.
I feel this spiritually. So many people say adp is absolutely mandatory because they cant fathom handling any encounter in a method beyond relying on i frames and dodging through attacks rather than just avoiding them entirely. Especially in the earlier games where enemies and bosses all turn like semi trucks.
velstadt only really has one move you need to worry about honestly. I have like 300 hours in ds2 and have only died to him twice, both of which were when i was sub level 50 (pvp)
ADP/agility isn’t necessary, but it feels bad not having enough s to roll through something with a lingering hitbox, which tend to be ground slams or thrusting attacks. Thankfully, you can usually side step these attacks, so it’s not THAT bad.
@@GilbertTheGilbertGuy Yup, but if it's your first time playing the game, unless you don't care about exploration at all, you won't just run up, you'll look around, and enemies can get close ADP is important for first time players, otherwise not so much
th-cam.com/video/Lz1V2BzdeFg/w-d-xo.html in this video she explains exactly why the hitboxes arent busted. maybe instead of taking random videos out of context you can actually play the game. (TLDR, the hitbox clips their feet in those clips you show)
@justicer14 you should watch Domo3000s videos on these. It's actually a minor animation error. (Your roll takes animation priority over the grab so it will damage you after the roll)
Literally the first clip they roll way off time, and if you pay attention to when the damage hits it's when the sword is right inside them. The grab animations look janky due to how animations are cued, which is an issue to be fair, but the hit detection itself is just as accurate as every other souls game, and they got hit due to blatant skill issues.

I have souls going in, I'm human, and there's no bloodstain. Maybe git gud if you're thinking like that bucko.
Also a stat that adds more variety to builds is a perfectly fine addition

- You can farm or cheat in human effigies and use them every try

no need ADP when u hit like a truck
You're right ADP really isn't that important at all I beat rotten on ng+7 with no equipment nor rings just my punches lmao
I mean the more builds I cleared the game with the more I realized that high ADP + low equip load are basicly a cheat code.
DW I'm a$$ at dodging too😅
I hardly experienced any bs moments with just 10 adp, its pretty unnecessary and almost trivial, even
velstadt only really has one move you need to worry about honestly. I have like 300 hours in ds2 and have only died to him twice, both of which were when i was sub level 50 (pvp)
beat the game few days ago with only 3 adp and 20 lvls in stamina
LoL, that's my pvp build
They should remove the level up mechanic entirely from these games to filter out the casuals
With positioning you can beat most without rolling

@@sirweenielick8534 ds2 imo is more about dodging the attack itself than iframing
Velstadt looks so pathetic near with this man
you shame the bean. the bean slow walks and strikes terror into all his opponents hearts. butterbean does not move that fast. you dont do him justice.
@@TheMagnificentMoose-s7y butterbean moves at light speed
butterbean PRETENDS to move slow to psycologically destroy his enemies. Your build does not accurately portray butterbeans superior intellect.
ADP isn’t to fix the roll frames, it’s for people who don’t know how to dodge properly.
you should be backstepping. in true butterbean fashion.
does vendrick fear the bean?
I got randomly recommended this by the algorithm.
Chad punching build but on the worst game in the series. Good work for what it is

@ Butterbean but not in his own weight class heavy
beat the whole game all the way to drangleic in ng++ with all dlc done in ng with 4 adp and the only hard boss was Alonne. ADP is a skill issue
@WeirdTroll666 Yeah adp is only for people that are bad at heal timing and roll timing. I'm no good at dodging but I always make do without adp
