Join me for a relaxing tour of my newest settlement at the Acadia National Park Visitor's Center! Today's tour assistant is Deacon, who, while assuring me that we're best friends and that songs will be written about our awesome-osity, refuses to really love me.
Even in 2020, her side commentary with Deacon is still gold. So seamless how she added it in! I wonder if Deacon regrets his choice all these years later. I would like to think he does

I don't think I would ever leave your class.
As you will probably fall asleep because of her voice.
I'd end up failing her class, especially if she is an ELA or English teacher.

I used to zone out listening to a few teachers in high school thanks to asmr (before it was recognized). I was too afraid to mention to anybody that teachers gave me tingles, thought I was just a weirdo lol. Glad to see it wasn't so =)

The banter with Deacon is like the most enjoyable thing ever.
I'm so glad :D I really try to keep too much joking out of my videos, because I know it can sometimes disrupt relaxation, but I have a hard time being serious for more than ten minutes at a time. Also, I have NO IDEA how/why Bethesda chose not to make Deacon romanceable. He reads Proust, he lets me dress him in all manner of costume, he complements my stealth combat play style . . . I just feel like we could have been great together, you know?
I really enjoy your sense of humor and it doesnt take anything away from the vid for me.
And I know exactly what you mean with Deacon lol.

This video was absolutely wonderful. I thought it was funny how Deacon kept on following you around and you'd make jokes about being in the friend zone. Your voice is very calming overall and your fallout 4 videos are always fantastic.

i was thinking the same thing, lol.
My only exposure to Fallout 4 has been through ASMR videos and these videos make it seem like The Sims with zombies. I assume there's more to the game than that, but I kinda want Sims with zombies.
Try Project Zomboid.
There's a lit more to the game like story and exploration and lots and lost of charaters
It's like skyrim in the apocalypse. The settlement building is really more of an add-on to the game. A really good add-on though.

Shannon P What's incredible is you can play it however you want. If you wanna just play with the settlements and hardly fight you can. It's an open rpg.

This was great, really. My Fallout ASMR video ended up consisting of a 15 minute fist fight with a scorpion.

I just watched this one for the first time, and it's already one of my favorites (along with Mass Effect Art Book, Game Usability Study, and Japanese Hot Springs Check-In)! The very subtle storytelling you add to these is really fantastic stuff, and is mostly why you are my favorite ASMRtist. There's always something more going on beyond the premise. I hope everything is well with you and your family, and that you are able to make new content again soon! And I hope everything turns out ok with Deacon!!

I'd really love to see a series of the actual building process, not just the tour. You'd think it would be too boring but don't forget how the mundane and repetition are a big part of ASMR, you wouldn't have to comment all the way through, just a glimpse here and there and your thought process in certain moments would be enough. (With the occasional thinking sounds, keyboard sounds, sounds of you focusing and concentrating)
An "ASMR Fallout 4: Let's build a Settlement" would be awesome.

Any Mass Effect content is good content :D Citadel in the original was great, loved walking around that & maybe do skyhold from dragon age inquisition too, pretty unique customization there i've got avaar crap everywhere lol
