I enjoy your films immensely. As a viewer, you know that you are going to see the real deal. Keep up the good work, I’m liking the metal detecting stuff.
some cracking finds there tom your edward hammered was pritty clean if i was you i'd be going back to where i found that looks like the plough's tipped the top of a pot be more a them there somewhere
25 mins is a tarp ring / eyelet or maybe from a tent. Have had many of those but you gotta dig em! Nice video once again. You're doing really well so far. Nice work for getting such a vast permission. I'm sure those fields are peppered with good targets 👍
Great vid Tom and great land too. Your love token is actually the same coin you found a little earlier, William iii. Elizabeth I are thin and often weakly struck. When you find your first Henry III or earlier they are thicker. Good luck
Quiet fields to me always produced special stuff , better when its turned over and rolled 🤔👍PS that square looks like a Roman villa, Roman offerings , Mary tudor groat
I was wondering if you was able to rub the Roman coins when you got home. When I say rub I mean get a piece of paper and a pencil lead. Is some sort and gently rub ❤ I’m so glad you found you some Roman coins great finds today!!!! ❤❤❤
Look forward to that farm tip video! Those coins are great. I found a tip locally in Cheshire and got a local pub beer and a nice compass brand coffee essence, but sadly it's right by a road and a footpath, so digging it is a bit conspicuous.
Excellent finds from a field that looks special. The Love Token will be from a milled coin of William lll the same coin that you found.I think the first Hammered you found is a Mary. It's a shame the wind took a lot of what you were saying away so it did detract from the video.
If you're going to have ongoing access to the land, pull all the iron signals. They will block other signals. The residue of a large piece of old iron might even block signals for several years after it's removed. More work now, more finds later. Plus, you'll probably find good iron for craft projects.
Love the p@ss take of the OTT “advert” for pulling in viewers. At the other end of the scale is Simonreadyoutube like yourself a genuine enthusiast who loves the hobby plus an interest in history.
Hello Tom, wow great finds, there's some real history in those fields. Have you seen any of West country Clegg's videos ? he has someon his channel about how to read the land and find areas of habitation and old trackways, they are quite interesting. Best wishes from Yorkshire
Hi just started watching your videos like yourself I’m a Detectorist in kent and use a drone and might start to post some videos keep them coming and might pick your brain on how to get on you tube ect plus I use the deus 2 can I ask are you using the deus 1 and hot program ? As I like the tones used to have a deus 1 wish I kept it regards shaune .
TOM PLEASE HELP , you are the only expert I know on beer bottles, someone has asked me if there were any ,' sergeants of Brigg brewery ' bottles , any info would be very gratefully appreciated
You need to sort your mic out Tom, those winds will kill your audio every time. You need one of those small furry things they call a "Dead Cat" ..... look silly but work superbly. I gave up on this one early on as I couldn't hear you :( !!!
Youre entirely right about the dumbass thumbnails that people are using. Then again, you kinda have to do what works i guess. To me its a matter of pride
Cool permission and cool finds and weeing myself at the youtube thumbnail parody

Fabulous finds especially the coins. Allow me to recommend The Scottish Detectorists channel for all the history of those coins.

When the farmer phones you to tell you hes cutting his crops ready for you to detect, you know youre on to a winner 💪👍

As soon as the fields are plowed I'll start getting rid of the iron
You need one of those big fluffy things on that microphone, the wind is so annoying x
Nice finds, too much wind noise.

Cool
👍👍
Is that 'S' shape a Roman 'S'? Couldn't quite see it. If so, they are worth a bit.

I am wondering if that bird was a corncrake. I am no expert, but the scientific term for ‘playing dead’ is *thanatosis*.
Yes corncrake
