What an absolutely unbelievable day you guys have had. And what a grafter Neil is. Some of them blob tops are gorgeous, although my favourite was by far the Torpedo bottle. It’s a bottle I’ve not had 😢 Great video Dan 👍
it can be if the ground/ash is hard, i found that sometimes depending on the hardness of the dump,, ash, sand, bits of glass, pot, bricks, stones and full bottles, it is best to poke around slowly with a small fork. iv used the big one before and smashed other stuff behind what im aiming for and broke stuff, like full bottles and plates and such (dont really want to do that) and or the stones and bricks you can not see hidden can slow the big one down too. but does depend on the content of the tip.. iv been a few easy digs and some right hard ground tips were you do more hard with a big folk.. so i just swop and change folks. im sure you have found the same?.

Scraping around the bottle with the diddy flowerbed fork is the most annoying thing ever, stick you garden fork in to one side and ease it out.
