I prefer more single target bruisers or stealth charactres really which is why Batgirl and Robin are my numbe r1 and 2. I also enjoy a bit of ranged combat as well so Red Hood will have me covered there at Number 3. Looking forward to this though.
I loved playing as red hood and feel like he does the best with this type of gameplay. His momentum abilities are mostly good, his pistols come in handy and his grabs with mines are super useful. Also love his character personality. Think of Raphael in tmnt
I will try everyone one of them. I like Red Hood so I will main him. However, I love stealth also, so Robin will also be my choice. Most likely I will just change between them whether I want to do stealthy approach or brutal approach
I can't bring myself to use Tim Drake since they ruined him in the comics. Batgirl and red hood will be my characters i think. Until DC ruins them as well.
Getting Red Hood's grab ability on bigger enemies made it so much easier to deal with them. Just heavy strike to stun them, grab strike them. Rinse and repeat.
I choose red hood and once you get the hang off his abilities and his play style he is perfect to keep everyone around you at a distance with his two pistols. I’ve played as the others a very few amount of times but always go back to red hood just because of how versatile he is in combat
I mained Red hood and Robin. Batgirl is kind of for basic and general. Good at everything but not amazing at one thing. Robin is stealthy and focuses heavily on elemental damage. If you enjoy elemental damage just build full robin, honestly with the right build he might be the most OP. Also personally i think using him vs harley quinn makes an amazing bossfight both in gameplay and as a spectacle. Nightwing is super agile and seems to do well with high crit. Red hood is a hybrid of ranged and Melee. Most of your abilities have a ranged aspect or buff you. However his base melee hut like a truck. I built him melee as crit damage and ranged focusing on elemental, usually concussion or frost. He is excellent at crowd control.
Nightwing was who I planned to main because he's was always my favorite. Robin with his stealth (mainly overhead stealth takedown) and Bargirl's hacking (again for stealth) is appealing.
Or we have a 4K display and the fidelity upgrades make 30fps worth it lol, so no biggie for me. Although, I can understand the gripes for those with no such display.

It's Batgirl for me so far. Haven't worked on the others yet. She feels the closest to AK's Batman in terms of how she fights and gets around the open world. Then again I haven't played the others yet so they may be better. Will find out in NG+

I don’t know who to play as for the first time like nightwing is cool and all but batgirl is so much like Batman all of the knights have like a part of Batman in them for like a specific skill in a way I want to play as red hood for range but robin just seems so cool and the suits are incredible it’s going to be tough to deiced great video by the way (:

I'm saddened Red Hood didn't just get an array of weapons. He's known to have rifles, launchers, and all sorts of firearms. Though, I do like his brawler fighting style. Absolutely brutal.
I think you also have to think about suit choices and weaponry. Red hood with any elemental weapons completely destroys with pistols. Just have to choose wisely. Sometimes with bio electric it will make guns malfunction for a little bit
Nightwing seems like a must for 2p and 4p co-op. Red Hood is nasty with how he steamrolls bosses if you know what you're doing. Batgirl is basically melee Red Hood. Robin has a cool kit lol
Robin is the ONLY character who can do takedowns on every enemy type, including the giant tank enemies. He also has the best stealth, and the best AOE attack with his nanites. Batgirl can hack equipment, heal an entire team, and even revive if she goes down. She's the tank. Red Hood can just shoot or beat everything into submission, but has zero stealth specialty. Unfortunately, Nightwing is perfectly fine at everything, but doesn't stand out at all. Too bad, I bought the game just to play him.
I started playing as Jason but later switched to Nightwing .In my opinion Nightwing has some cool moves and has better reflexes than other characters .In Batman Arkham Knight you have different gadgets at your disposal and there are enemies who are not as strong a foe as comparing to Gotham knights coz every time to travel back to belfry the enemies will get leveled up too ,the only option we have is to build your own strategy and try to evade the incoming attacks and Nightwing was a better option for me than the rest of the knights

I actually just got the deluxe for 5$ on black Friday. I've played every character. Batgirl is annoying as a character in the game, but she's definitely the strongest. Red hood is great at range but awful in melee. Nightwing is decent, has good aoe, and gets his skills back extremely fast. Robin is actually slept on his elemental damage, and skills using them are absolutely insane. But as I said, batgirl is broken. Unkillable with her drones that wipe groups, and she herself is very strong hand to hand. She has mad crit, too.
By playing one of the characters does the game allow you to not get into all of that elemental and super power stuff and just rely on normal skills and tech like the Arkham games?
He could have been easily the worst character in the game, the moment they said "playable Tim Drake" I knew who I'd be playing with first. He and Red Hood are my favorite of these characters and will likely see the most play early. But honestly all four look like fun, and different enough to mess around with when there is a chance.
Robin annihilates the end game. In addition to being the stealthiest and able to do takedowns on large bad guys, he also gets bonuses to elemental buildup and damage that make him the best fighter. Plus that momentum move where he charges forward while spinning his staff can defeat a half a dozen bad guys all at once.

30 fps for Gotham Knights is a deal breaker for me. I am not going to pay a game with current gen price that will run with last gen fps. Even more so, I am now used to 60 fps and I am not going back ....because the difference is big. (I am talking about the 30fps locked framerate for consoles, even in solo mode, which they recently announced)
I’m wondering with batgirl in the Gotham Knight universe did joker shoot her spine in this universe and somehow she had technology that repaired her legs or she never got shot by joker at all

Since this game has a New Game Plus mode, ai’ll be playing it MULTIPLE times. So, I think I’m going to go with NightWing for my first play through, then RedHood, then Robin, then for my final hero/heroine, BatGirl.
I picked Tim first because he is my favourite bat son, but for the last fight i decided to go barbara as she is quick with her hits and can deal more damage due to her being faster

Im still stoked about playing the game but are you concerned at all about the 30fps cap? Im sure they will have a update later on to change this to 60fps & higher but people are losing there minds over this, its like the Avengers virus of a community has infected this games community already.
I personally don’t mind it, people are getting so turned by it though. There will likely be a patch later on after release that provides 60 fps. If fps matters all that much to you, then just don’t buy the game until there is a update providing the specs you want.

I have died with every character except Robin when swarmed by bosses, I spam Robin’s mines to take out large amounts of enemies at once, including big bosses, enough said
i just started the game and so far ive been upgraded jason. i tried Nightwing for a bit but he wasnt that appealing though I may try it again. Tim just feels like he's too weak in fighting (compared to red hood) but his takedowns could be helpful in unlocking momentum abilities and Batgirl just seems like her fights will take longer as she focuses on just one target at a time
Looks like another Avengers type experience imo which I also enjoyed for the most part excluding the live service part. I'll pick this up Black Friday unless I get bored before Ragnarok
I really didn't understand their ideas on character making. Why make Red Hood a big, strong, powerful character but then make him a ranged character? I didn't get it. I'm going to try out Robin first the stealth just seems to good to me.
I choose to main Robin mostly because 1. His abilities are good. 2. I prioritize stealth. 3. I know his move sets and abilities. But all are such good and amazing characters. But I’m definitely sticking to Robin.
I really want to like this game but when ever I follow a route during a mission it says I'm out of bounds and resets, I have never gotten so angry at a video game, I don't know how to play a game that is supposed to be open world but won't allow me to play missions. I'm loving robin as I prefer stealth play. I really wish they would of given him batgirls combat grapple and invisibility to cameras though as the later doesnt really do anything for batgirl as she is terrible at stealth. The former I just want so I can feel a bit more like arkham batman. Looks like heroic assault is going to be ass though as I doubt you can stealth it and even if you can you wont be able to if you multiplayer it which I will. Guess I'll have to batgirl for that but dont really like her kit to much.
My Favorite To my least is NightWing,Batgirl,Robin Than Redhood NightWing: Fast,Acrobatic,Good Momentum,Fast Dodger and Fighter What i don't like: His Darts aren't my Favorite Ranged attack. He has always been my Favorite Batgirl: Hack Stuff,Revive Herself,Good Melee character,Kinda Stealth and Tough What i don't like: She's Cool i don' really have any Dislikes i guess i wish her cape could kinda be better. She's A little of everything but i love the Hacking & Revive Part Robin: Stealth Specialist,Can Lure Enemys,Tactical Genius,Good Elemental Damage Character and Can Distract enemys while taking other ones down What i don't like: His Staff Kinda feels a little wired but its good i don't have anything bad to say about him really his Movement Ability Is annoying how it has a time limit He's Cool and is Fast and i love Stealthy Characters Redhood: Brawler,Marksmen,Good with Melee and Ranged,Extra Strong and Can Grab Enemy's Easier What i don't like: He's Slow in Combat or Melee and His leap is annoying a little i just feel like redhood could be better but NO HATE i love all of the characters. I main Robin and I will say the sticky pellets is his best skill. Just keep shooting the ground to get a chain reaction and it kills everything.

Batgirl and Red Hood were who I was looking forward to playing as, but Robin is looking pretty fun now, too.

I’m wondering with batgirl in the Gotham Knight universe did joker shoot her spine in this universe and somehow she had technology that repaired her legs or she never got shot by joker at all
It's been confirmed that she was paralyzed and that she's still healing from that trauma.
Her bio only says she was injured and put in a wheel chair
Nothing about paralysis specifically
They said she went through surgery and tons of physical therapy to get back in the field
Since this game has a New Game Plus mode, ai’ll be playing it MULTIPLE times. So, I think I’m going to go with NightWing for my first play through, then RedHood, then Robin, then for my final hero/heroine, BatGirl.
I picked Tim first because he is my favourite bat son, but for the last fight i decided to go barbara as she is quick with her hits and can deal more damage due to her being faster
Ik a lot of people are complaining about the Game. I really like the graphics/fighting style moves ect. Yea the button layout design could do with some work but I’m excited to get the game when I can

Man 30 fps is gonna be hard to look at, I've tried going back to older games and I just can't get past the stuttering of the images its so strange looking nvr understood before I saw it
Im still stoked about playing the game but are you concerned at all about the 30fps cap? Im sure they will have a update later on to change this to 60fps & higher but people are losing there minds over this, its like the Avengers virus of a community has infected this games community already.
I personally don’t mind it, people are getting so turned by it though. There will likely be a patch later on after release that provides 60 fps. If fps matters all that much to you, then just don’t buy the game until there is a update providing the specs you want.

Personally I'll be on PC and I'm not that bothered b ythe 30fps cap in fact it being slightl yloewr may even help me given I have a physica ldiasbility which can mak eaction games more difficult. Fram erates don' tnormall ybothre me to omuch as long as I'm having fun.
@@SirFrostyFire715 I wasn’t trying to come off as aggressive in the last portion. I apologize if it seems like that. For the players on the PC port it won’t affect you, but it is a little disappointing to some on next gen consoles, but it doesn’t really bother me in particular.
@@maul1789 Thats cool, 2yrs of tolerating the toxic negative bipolar Avenger community has been damaging to me personally, ive started to see the same mentality w/ the GK community starting to head that way over the last week, the fps issue concerns me but its not an issue for me like others are making it out to be, im looking forward to playing & having some fun.
I wanted to start safe with Nightwing but the more I watch Red Hood wrecking shit, I'm inclined to give him a chance.

I went in planning to main Red Hood, but I find myself most often playing as Robin and/or Nightwing more so than the others

the only time i didn't use red hood was because of the knighthood missions and their personal stories
Batgirl is my likely choice just by being the closest to Batman, but Robin is edging his way to being my second choice. Still can't be sure if i am getting the game at or even near release, might torture myself and watch some streams or something closer to release.

I have died with every character except Robin when swarmed by bosses, I spam Robin’s mines to take out large amounts of enemies at once, including big bosses, enough said
I'll be playing as red hood as my main. And go through the entire story as him. And will probably make a 2nd save playing as bat girl.
i just started the game and so far ive been upgraded jason. i tried Nightwing for a bit but he wasnt that appealing though I may try it again. Tim just feels like he's too weak in fighting (compared to red hood) but his takedowns could be helpful in unlocking momentum abilities and Batgirl just seems like her fights will take longer as she focuses on just one target at a time
do you end up skillig all trees? So you would just skill the tree you prefer the most first?
Looks like another Avengers type experience imo which I also enjoyed for the most part excluding the live service part. I'll pick this up Black Friday unless I get bored before Ragnarok
I really didn't understand their ideas on character making. Why make Red Hood a big, strong, powerful character but then make him a ranged character? I didn't get it. I'm going to try out Robin first the stealth just seems to good to me.
Still torn between nightwing and batgirl but leaning more towards batgirl now
I choose to main Robin mostly because 1. His abilities are good. 2. I prioritize stealth. 3. I know his move sets and abilities. But all are such good and amazing characters. But I’m definitely sticking to Robin.
I really want to like this game but when ever I follow a route during a mission it says I'm out of bounds and resets, I have never gotten so angry at a video game, I don't know how to play a game that is supposed to be open world but won't allow me to play missions. I'm not gonna lie I destroyed my controller 😞

i think robin is my pick i like stealth hope the mechanics will be good i don't expect to be as good as arkham tho

will somebody who is a big fan of the combat in devil may cry, ninja gaiden and god of war (old gen and current) enjoy the combat in this game? it seems like the combat is a bit slow and I noticed that every character only has 1 melee combo, execute by simply mashing square
I'm loving robin as I prefer stealth play. I really wish they would of given him batgirls combat grapple and invisibility to cameras though as the later doesnt really do anything for batgirl as she is terrible at stealth. The former I just want so I can feel a bit more like arkham batman. Looks like heroic assault is going to be ass though as I doubt you can stealth it and even if you can you wont be able to if you multiplayer it which I will. Guess I'll have to batgirl for that but dont really like her kit to much.

NightWing: Fast,Acrobatic,Good Momentum,Fast Dodger and Fighter
What i don't like: His Darts aren't my Favorite Ranged attack.
He has always been my Favorite
Batgirl: Hack Stuff,Revive Herself,Good Melee character,Kinda Stealth and Tough
What i don't like: She's Cool i don' really have any Dislikes i guess i wish her cape could kinda be better.
She's A little of everything but i love the Hacking & Revive Part
Robin: Stealth Specialist,Can Lure Enemys,Tactical Genius,Good Elemental Damage Character and Can Distract enemys while taking other ones down
What i don't like: His Staff Kinda feels a little wired but its good i don't have anything bad to say about him really his Movement Ability Is annoying how it has a time limit
He's Cool and is Fast and i love Stealthy Characters
Redhood: Brawler,Marksmen,Good with Melee and Ranged,Extra Strong and Can Grab Enemy's Easier
What i don't like: He's Slow in Combat or Melee and His leap is annoying a little i just feel like redhood could be better but NO HATE i love all of the characters.
