One of these days, I need to watch this movie. I guess I'm waiting until I'm emotionally stable enough to view it. I have a funny feeling I'm Travis times ten. I recently discovered that I was living in Houston at the time of the filming (1984). I arrived there in 1981...left in 1987.

saw this movie in the 90s.... really hit me.. the atmosphere, the twangy guitar , the older guy and his beautiful young ex . The scene in the club where he talks to her via a phone... would love to pay and dowload, but cant .... DVD is quite expensive and I dont have a dvd player anyways.
