When mixing progressive house it's more about the journey - each track tells a story and when put together in the form of a set you need that set to tell a story. It's less about doing stuff and more about being present with the music - in many ways mixing progressive house is a form of meditation - a journey into sound!

Unsolicited review: I’ve learned more from watching Andrew’s free videos in two weeks than I have in ten years. His approach to mixing with the full eq is life-changing. If you’re on the fence about purchasing the full course, dive in. Iv'e played Progressive House for years now, and you can proper loose ya self. I go on my decks for a quick session & end up dragging myself off 4 hrs later. Nicely explained as usual Andrew, obviously my favourite video up to now! They are all bang on though. Big Love from the UK.....

I started your DJ course during lockdown last year but stopped mid way. I have been listening to lots of progressive house meanwhile and now I just saw that you had this video. Hooked again with your channel and definitely to your course too!! This style just makes me wanna play for a crowd to try to transmit what I feel with it!!

Thanks Paul - believe me it was difficult for me and first attempt at this I did it and listened back and it was all wrong, so i let go completely (had a few beers haha) and then went in with a new attitude and lost myself in it - was an epiphany style moment :)

My god Andrew, you totally nailed it all about Progressive House in your opening statement ! Prog does weird thing's to your mind and body. I'm a big fan of Mojaxx and his Progrezz livestreams and i've seen the man nearly brought to tears thru certain tracks ....... truthfully Progressive House is my lifeblood !!

You'll get there - remember good mixes always take a few attempts - y first attempt at this mix was rubbish - I had to get more tracks to choose from - working progress.

Andrew this set was really good! Your talent, info and experience are greatly appreciated. You remind me of someone who i used to chill with in the club scene in the late 90s/early 00s. He also was a club owner/resident DJ who always encouraged and instructed without insult at the same time gave the best constructive criticism.
