Many of you suggested making a tutorial for drawing hair so here it is!
In this video I've covered general tips for drawing and shading hair as well as included my own process. :)

I had no problems drawing hair traditional back then, but as soon as I switched to digital all of my knowledge basically disappeared and the techniques that I used before weren’t working for me anymore.
I watched so so so many tutorials on hair, but after watching yours I finally managed to draw some good looking hair!
Also im in loveee with your velvet brush set! I kept trying to find brushes that I liked, but none of them were doing it for me, at least until I tried yours! love how it looks so soft and well, velvety lol. Its really everything I’ve been looking for, thank you so much

And I'm really glad my tutorial helped you! The truth is - transitioning from traditional to digital art will take a while, but once you get the hang of it, I think you'll be very excited to discover all the options that come with digital art only. :)

this was so helpful! i actually had a mental breakdown the other day trying to color hair 🥲 i bought your brush set awhile ago, was the brushes you used for this hair the same ones in that set? i always have the hardest time finding brushes for hair :(
Aww I'm so happy to hear you enjoyed the video! 🤗 It's okay, take it one step at a time, if shading seems too complicated try to simplify everything at first, you don't have to do anything super detailed if you're not comfortable with that yet. :)
As for the brushes I used here, they're actually some new brushes I made and I've been testing them out for the past month to see if they need any changes so they're not public yet, but they will be very soon! I think they're a bit easier to use than my first pack since they don't have any texture. 😅 I'm very pleased with their flow and can't wait to share them! 😃
