Wait times are a result of the ever increasingly complex menu making BOH fundamentally more inefficient (mcdonalds in the 1950's were capable of pumping out triple digit cheeseburgers in a minute because that's all that was sold). The fact that corporate are tight asses who won't replace equipment unless absolutely necessary does not help.

I got the Aussie Angus Deluxe today, and they didn't give me bacon 😢. The only thing deluxe about it was the beetroot. It was basically a Classic Angus with beetroot added for $1.60.

Mate! I saw this today so i had to go find one and try it. I reckon it might be the best Maccas burger I've had. Beetroot and bacon were there but all the lettuce somehow ended up around the burger instead of inside. Anyway, top marks from me. 👍

I never trust corner shops. Firstly I don't know how fresh the meat is and secondly I don't know how it was handled; was it stored at the right temperature. Oh and how clean is the cooking area. I know that Maccas has quality control

Not saying they all do just that the chains are "less" likely to do that
The fact that they just stuffed the extra beetroot and bacon in and handed you back the same burger is crazy
