I was conflicted about uploading the video now given what's going on in the world, but I thought given everyone will be spending a lot of time at home in isolation, hopefully this can add some value to your day!
Wow.... such an insightful video as always. I love it when I get a notification of your video upload, watch it, watch it 5 more times and then breakdown the advice and think of how I can implement it in my business. Keep em coming Ben. You are doing a great service sharing your experiences.
Thank you so much brother! I really enjoy learning more about how much you have grown along side with your business. You make great business videos about your company and give out tone of great business advice. My goal is to have a great clothing company as massive as your here in the next 5-8 years. I only watch his videos to like your comments. I have a bhsiness startup in CBD. Bens comments on vision and finding like minded people speaks volumes. Want to speak or discuss this venture with me?
@@warrenwest6884 I'm very aware of shoe dog. I've read it. It was a brilliant read. But reading the story in retrospect is one thing - actually getting to watch a brand like this created and grown/scaled/evolved in real time is something else entirely. Imagine being able to open a Phil Knight TH-cam channel, and click on hundreds of videos that show Phil setting up blue ribbon, meeting with the Japanese, creating early products. So my point stands, this is what guys like Ben are doing for the next generations.
The way you talk about Gymshark is so inspiring. I literally get chills to work even harder and become part of the team! Well done again Ben really inspiring!
I love watching your videos. They're so different from what everyone else is doing on TH-cam and I feel like we can get a true sense about how genuine you really are when it comes to your business and the community that you've created within it. I'm here for it because its motivation!
Fantastic)) The company ideology and HR department is the most important when it comes to this. At my current work, we have a problem. Half of the team decided to write to HR department to find a solution to be able to work without pressure, anxiety and constant mental control. We've been waiting for 2 months and a half now. You try to contact them, there is just ignorance. Now with this corona-virus situation, it's all incredibly disorganised. It's surprising it's a huge company. I'm very glad you emphasise the importance of having a good team and employees. It's so important for the workers to actually feel like they are contributing to a company and their work is valued. Happy for you and the whole team at Gymshark. Great work!
Please talk about coronavirus. How it’s affected your business, the culture at home office, sales, what changes you’ve had to make logistically, how you’ve had to keep composure as a leader during times of uncertainty, how to act ethically and keep your staff paid during this time! That would be sooo insightful
you guys realize that ben is currently the ONLY owner of a valued billion-dollar business giving away real business gems on youtube? it's amazing really, thanks for the free advice ben!
It's crazy how we are being able to follow and get the insights into the foundations of Gymshark's success, for free!! Some really good valuable golden nuggets in this. More please! And on point editing! Cheers Ben and the team.
Love this video. Your humility and how you invest and trust in others is the most inspiring part of you. I’m so proud of everything you and Gymshark have achieved, can’t wait for what’s to come!!! Ly ❤️

Thanks a lot for the video Ben, I’ve learnt a lot from this series so far. The main thing it’s done is give me a kick up the butt! I’m going to use this ‘self isolating’ time wisely. Cheers mate
Hey Ben! Thanks for sharing this. Great tips for us and where we are currently at. I'm CEO at a startup that just celebrated 2 years since launch and we have 7 full time staff and are ready to go to the next level. I will be putting this into practice. 👍🤙
I love your story. Running a business is mentally and physically challenging for sure. You're an inspiration! Im taking all of your thoughts on business on board, so thank you. Alexandra
Honestly I really enjoy your videos Ben, the more I watch your content the more I realize how Gymshark is going to grow and become an even more successful company! Just finished reading The fish that ate the Whale (about Sam Zemurray) and it looks like you look at your business in a similar way! Would recommend reading that book too, don't recall seeing it on your bookshelf
Mental, you were on 130 when I was at GSHQ last. Would be great if people could do tours and see how things have changed and developed. A way to feel a part of the team even if they aren’t officially
Great video, I find building structure within my business so hard due to the implications of cost mostly, your video has given me a better insight of what I should be doing.
Another great video Ben! Thank you. Would love to see more about the start of Gymshark, like making the first sales and the strategies you made in the first couple of years.

Excuse my language but these videos are fucking amazing! The way the gymshark culture and delegation of teams and tasks shows the collaboration the company makes. Is there any video that you could make on the biggest mistakes when first starting and the way you reflected on those Ben? Or if there is a plan to where gymshark wants to go in the next 4 quarters/ 4 years. Also do you have a voice of customer team (voice of customer analysts). This is something I really aspire to bring to gymshark in the future if the opportunity was to arise.
Super inspiring Ben 🙏 Can you share the story of how you initially got in contact with the TH-camrs and the basis for that relationship. What has allowed you to keep these relationships going so long and what makes them so genuine rather than the countless transactional relationships many brands have with their influencers.
Hey Ben, do you know at what point you went from being a leader *and* a do'er, to mostly or only being a leader? When did you stop "touching" things in your business, doing "tasks", etc? Was there a tipping point or a trigger? And do you think you did that at the right time, or too late? In my business (5 years old, 30 people, 2 locations), I am still "doing" lots of things - partly because they bring me joy, but partly because I feel I'm the best person to do them still. I'm sure you can relate! Thanks in advance
Well done for the way you did, how you set up your own company and how you keep innovating all the time. Surely you are the next thing in the world of sports and fashion. In love with your sportswear. Addicted to you.👏👏👏❤️🐬🐬
You probably won't remember Ben, but I met you at the very confident/verging on cocky stage of your growth as a person (understandable with what you've achieved; with a lovely Lauren Valler and a chicken restaurant)..so it's very nice to see you have definitely reigned yourself in and you come across really well in these videos. Having started my own gig a couple of years ago, this is a really helpful video. Obviously, I'm offering a service (marketing recruitment) not a tangible, do you think there's room for a more modern e-commerce approach to recruitment? Maybe add to basket areas of the process? Otherwise, Shopify isn't really essential for me. I'm dying to tear up the recruitment world as a challenger brand to the boring corps but I'm still trying to work out how. Your input would be really welcomed :) All the best with GS.
