Thanks for this great comparison - nice photos too! I have just ordered an EOS R as a partner to my 5D4. Should be able to match these 2 cameras seamlessly.
I liked and subscribed not just based on content (which was very good and detailed). What I appreciated most was your apparent effort to respond to questions as much as you were able. Shows 5 star care for your viewers, which is rare. Keep creating, my man.
Ones you put RF lens on the R, you can see that R is much better. I have both cameras and few lenses. For example, if you would compare mark IV with 50 1.2 L and R with RF 50 1.2 mm you be impressed. I would recommend to go with R only if you plan to invest into the entire system using the adapter only till you get actual RF glass.
The RF lenses are very nice, but I'm still getting really great results with the adaptor and my EF 24-70. I wouldn't say don't do it, but I'm guessing the RF line is the future of Canon.
I had the 5D mark IV but switched to thr EOS R. Reasons: - Viewfinder shows exactly how the picture will look like. - light weight which allows you to take it with you and use it more often. - flip screen, you can’t miss it when you want to take photos and videos from different angles. - focus peaking, extremely useful when filming and doing macro photography. - allows you to use all Canon lenses. - cheaper, costs less than the 5D. - better colors, the eis R has better colors than the 5D. Noticed that the 5D made all images and videos a bit darker. However, the 5D had better quality 4K video but a lot larger file size. It also had dual card slots which you definitely need if you’re into wedding and special moments photography. The 5D doesn’t record video on two cards though, what a shame. That’s my review for these two cameras.
RYN films, unfortunately, the Eos R has rolling shutter problems when filming in 4K. I wish they made 2 sd card slots on the R though. It’s the only reason why I might switch to another camera.
I use this camera professionally for commercial and editorial work and it def can hold its own IF you are not shooting fast moving subjects. It is very very hard to track fast moving subjects in continuous mode. They may fix this eventually but if u shoot a ton of movement don’t buy it. Otherwise it’s better than a mark if and the battery never dies for me. That being said the AF accuracy destroys any DSLR with slower moving subjects.
A lot of people mention shooting fast moving subjects being an issue. I don’t generally shoot sports or anything like that so it doesn’t come up for me. Overall it’s great!
At 3:00 when you say there is more detail in the shadows, maybe I see that although the parameters are the same, the eos r is a little more overexposed. but I also see a little more noise in the eos r? I do mostly photography with people, and I am between the 5d mark iv and the eos r. I would like very much if you could make a comparison in terms of skin tones :) Thank you
All of there comparison shots were at the same settings, so maybe the R is just a tad more sensitive? Hard to say. The RAW images appeared to be roughly the same exposure. I know it can be hard to judge on TH-cam, but looking at the files in photoshop I didn’t notice any extra noise in the R. I went back and forth quite a bit and didn’t notice much difference at all.
Interesting your low light examples showed better for the R however Tony & Chelsea's video showed colour banding in low light on the R after bringing the shadows up. Something often have to do in low light events.
I have both cameras and one thing I've noticed is that the 5div tends to underexpose about a third of a stop where the R overexposed about a third. The night shot shows this because with the 5d seemed better because the subject had better exposure of the subject than the R and the shadow detail you pointed out shows that as well. The difference in detail in the background is a mute point because at 2.8 it just shows the 5d has better bokeh.. In the studio shot the difference shown isn't a fair comparison because there is more light on the face of the 5d from the side light than on the R which gives the impression of more shadow detail.. The night shot under the bridge also shows the difference in exposure, the street lights at the bottom center shows the difference in exposure which will also make a difference I. The sky color.. Again I have both and love them for what they can and can not do... Is the R better.... At some things "YES" but overall (in my opinion ) NO... I shoot professionally and use both and for the most part I can use either one and get what I need.. Neither is a disappointment, money well spent but havi g to choose one as a professional I'd have to choose the 5D because the battery life, security of dual cards and a few other reasons... The R is a great camera by all means and most won't be disappointed but I can't call it better..
The 5DMKIV gives me peace of mind when shooting long videos for clients. The EOS R is a great camera, no doubt about it, but is is still relatively new and I would not have it as an A camera for video production. I almost bought the EOS R6 but then I read about the overheating issues so I decided to buy the 5D regardless that is getting old. It works perfect. I actually don’t mind the 4K crop, I am using the sigma 18-35mm (30ish- 57ish mm) for wide shots in 4K. This EOS R would be a perfect B camera to use in my Ronin SC and for b-roll though.
That's something a lot of people brought up and something I don't have to deal with often. One thing to note is that the R slows down in burst mode and servo AF.
Nice comparison.. However, I think giving the point for high speed shooting (8fps vs 7 in 5d iv) isn't fair. EOS R's continuous mode shooting is actually lower than 5Div
@@rynfilms it does 8fps only with one shot autofocus. If the focus mode is changed to servo, (which we'll probably be using for high speed shooting), it gets below 5fps
So does that mean you are able to refocus and press the shutter release 8 times a second? If not then the theoretical ability to shoot at 8fps using one shot is pretty much worthless. Unless you are shooting something that is not moving of course - but then why would you need to take 8 photos of a subject that is not moving? The video does not make it clear that in situations where you need a high burst rate (eg for sport or wildlife) you would be using AI servo and therefore for practical purposes the EOS R has a maximum burst rate of 5fps.
To me its a no brainer. The 5Div can only use EF lenses whereas the EOS R can use the EF & EF-S lenses AND the brilliant RF lenses. Also, since it's obvious that Canon is going to go fully into mirrorless why buy an "old" style camera when you can pay less for a similar camera as mirrorless??
I love the way you think Ross! Such a great point. If I had to guess, I don't think Canon will be releasing any more high end DSLR's and they will be moving completely mirrorless. The RF lenses are way too nice.
Exactly. Attain new tech while embracing classic glass. No brainer here as well!! I won't wait until a year, two years, etc. for a more pro body (1D rumors). Buying this ASAP! Time is now, in the present, better make some creative decisions today while we are still breathing.
You save money until you go ahead and buy the RF Lenses where they make the money back. Don’t forget that the efs lenses has a crop to them. Other than that, I’ll wait on the pro version of a mirrorless since the eye AF would make life much easier and less likely to miss focus
For some like me, heavily...I mean heavily invested with the EF Mount and hates adapters and don't see any reason to move to the RF Mount, the Canon 5DIV it is! I might still get the Canon R though since it is so cheap at the moment! 👍😉
I think that, the best answer is budget, and actual equipment, if you already have a 5d mark IV and runs with one body only there is no reason to put budget on a R. But if you are about to make an upgrade of a smaller sensor or model camera, between the two, having so close output on the photo part. I think the amount of possibilities on the R make the choice for you. Same price range, newer technologies, keeps what it is gold from the old models, are able to utilizes the best of both worlds. Battery life, one card slot, this are fairly replaceable with extra batteries on the bag, and sd card pouch, about speed in the burst mode, 5 against 7 is kind of a big deal, but specific demand, for a specific public. if you are gonna take most of your photos in full speed, and burst mode, yeah, maybe it`s better to keep if 5d mk4. But an upgrade investment for the general all around equipment, i don`t see why not EOS R
I can assure you that you will get used to the touch bar. I thought it was a little strange when i bought it, but now I'm using at all the time. I actually think it is one of my favourite features on the EOS R. 📷 You did a good job on this comparison! 😀
I recently got an R to compliment my IV for video work. I have to admit I like it more then I want despite some annoyances (the button layout), but the price point at 1500$ and now with the new improved eye AF on the 1.4.0 firmware it's a very decent buy. Would love to see an R with the IVs ergonomics controls and a small bump in MP
Yeah, it took me a while to get used to the button layout. Going back and forth can be tricky. I'm interested to see what the next version of the R brings.
Hi i am in decision to buy Eos R or 5d Mark iv,but i have playead with some raw files, and the Eos R is little bit noisier in the shadows...but this with 1.0.0 !Can you tell me your experience, with the version 1.4.0 is the Eos R shadows the same az the mark iv ???
You say that the R has more detail in the shadows. What I am seeing though is an overall brighter image from the R. I believe that the two cameras have slightly different ISO behavior. If you try to raise the exposure in post in the 5D mk IV samples, maybe by a third or half of a stop, I am pretty sure you would find the images to be nearly identical.
I think you nailed it George! Everything was shot on the same settings. My theory was that the ISO on the R is a little more sensitive. I did some tests (not in the video) matching the exposure in LR and it appeared to be more or less the same image.
Personally I went with the MKIV. Although the EOS R is an amazing camera, I just cant afford the RF Lenses atm. I'm fine with waiting for the Later editions of The Mirrorless series from canon a few years down the road.
Thanks for the video. I've been agonizing over which of these two cameras to purchase to upgrade from my first generation 7D. You provided good information in a short period of time, which is appreciated. I still haven't made my decision yet, but leaning towards your choice.
It can be a tough choice for sure, they are very similar cameras. If your going to be using it in the rain at all I would suggest the 5D4 as it has better weather sealing than the R.
Hmm.. that makes it a bit harder of a decision. Will you be using it just for photos? The flip screen is pretty nice on the R. However if you can wait until the next version of the R comes out it will probably be worth it. They are both great cameras and your not going to go wrong with either one.
@@rynfilms Mostly photos with occasional video. I'd wait for the R Mark 2 but going to the Galapagos later this year so want to upgrade and be familiar with the new rig by then so want to purchase soon. Thanks for all your help and good luck to you.
I had a mirrorles Olympus, their top model, and although it had better dynamic range than my Canon dslr, I hated it because of ongoing electronic and software related issues. I have watched a few videos now about Canons r camera and I notice right away that both you and commentors have had similar issues, like sudden freezing of the camera. I loved going back to my 5D because it is sooooo much more reliable. These small mirrorless cameras just feel more flimsy and they seem to have more bugs.
It hasn't been a huge issue, but it is the first time in a long time a canon camera has done something like that to me. It was a surprise. Still using it as my main camera though! 📸
@@rynfilms great that you sre enjoying it. What puzzles me is that your photos show a dramatic difference in dynamic range between the R and 5D. That is something that I would really appreciate in the R, given it works well. However in another review by Thomas Heaton, his test photos didn't show any difference in dynamic range. Any idea how this is possible?
Decent video, thanks for the review! I wanted to upgrade from my good old 5DII beginning of the year but don't wanted to wait, if Canon is coming out with a decent mirrorless at all. My heart said 5DIV, but the reasonable decision regarding an upcomming new canon comes to a purchase of the 6DII. In my opinion, the right decision and I have a better feeling to get the EOS R when I'm ready. (and that means "when I have found out to buy a new camera again AND explain it my girlfriend" ...I would be so lost without her)
I absolutely love this crisp clear video. You said in the video you were shooting it using EOS R but in the description I see your gear used is 5D mark iii also between Canon 90D and EOS R which is better Thank.... Your videos are outstanding.... Also what's your lighting set up
This choosing is my dilemma - however I would like to se some reviews with some older lenses..... as that's why someone would consider. New bodies with new lenses - of course the comparisons will be great. Lets use some F5.6 ones... My key concern is RF lenses are all
Nice comparison. I never saw the need to upgrade from my my 5D2, but I also shoot with a Sony A7R2 since I have a lot of older Canon FD glass that is easily adaptable to the Sony and, surprisingly, the IQ holds up really well. I may give the EOS-R a look. How is the battery life on the R?...electronic viewfinders and touch screens seem to put a drain on them (the only Sony shortcoming that I've experienced). Also, does Canon plan to offer an FD-to-EOS R adapter? That was my one Canon gripe when they moved to the EF lineup...older glass was no longer usable. Thanks again for an excellent comparison.
Thanks! I haven’t found much of a difference in battery life between the 5D4 and the R. They also use the same battery which is great! You’ll be able to use the batteries out of the 5D2 as well. I don’t know about the adaptor, sorry.
Correct me if i am wrong. The EOS R has eye tracking auto focus. Were else other than the R, can i get the eye auto focus and work with my extensive and expensive EF lenses. The eye tracker, interests me as my eyesight is not so good. I mainly do wildlife photography. Thanks.
Hi Keith, the R does have eye AF. It was a feature they added after I made this video. I would think about the new R5 or R6 for eye tracking and wildlife. The AF on the new bodies are really good. I can only say for sure that the eye tracking for humans is much better on the R6 than on the R.
Thanks for the video comparison (first time I’ve watched your channel) - I’ve been contemplating upgrading to the EOS R from my 80D. I know it’ll be a big upgrade, just want to make the RIGHT upgrade
@@TheOscardominguez24 so far so good! I’d said the biggest improvements have been the accuracy/speed of focus when using RF glass (although it’s expensive to get into), the dynamic range, & higher ISO quality. I still have the 80D as a backup & it’s a great camera, especially since it was an upgrade from the 50D
While i do know i`ll move to mirrorless at some point, I will wait for 5Dmk5 or R 5D eqviv. Main difference for me is less buttons to do certain things. I don't care much to program buttons to do stuff because if it breaks i have to rent a new one and waste time reprogramming everything. So no ... i want dedicated buttons like on 5D mainly because muscle memory and speed. Also Joystick. Yes yes ... i would prefer to have that thumb-pad like on old IBM laptops that was used to replace touch-pad since that was amazing and was pressure sensitive, so it was easy to control. Also Thumb-space ... I have tried EOS R ... my thumb always is placed on new gimmicky magick slide that almost everyone turns off right away. But still is really uncomfortable to hold and grip camera with finger right there (I have big hands, don't judge). Overall in sheer speed of use on location where conditions are changing ... 5D wins hands down in my book. I hope one day Canon will release 5D form-factor mirrorless camera just because its far more intuitive then this new experiment.
It did take some time to learn the new button placement, I can't argue with that. Going back to the MK4 always felt comfortable (button wise). Pretty sure I mentioned it in the video, but I have small hands and the R fits my hands great! I've heard more and more about a 5D MK5. They way Canon is going, it may happen.🤷♂️
Good comparo, but not much mention about the EOS R's EVF, which at 3M+ dots is a game changer. What-you-see-is-what-you-get allows one to +/-- EVs BEFORE pressing the shutter, which in turn means fewer over- and underexposure shots. I buy mirrorless cameras mainly because of the EVF...and IBIS.
Good call Chak, I was still getting used to the EVF when I shot this video. I’m starting to like it a lot! The only time I found it unusable what with extreme low light photography.
RYN photography, I am thinking of buying the EOS R because I have Canon EF glass. But the lack of IBIS deters me. If I had a R, I would love to assign Exposure Compensation to the Function Bar. Perhaps you can chak it out for me? ;-)
The EF glass works great with the R. It does have Digital IS, but it only works in movie mode. I know, not helpful for photos. I'm still getting used to the touch bar. It doesn't look like it cam be set for exposure compensation though.
RYN photography, can't use the Multifunction Bar to adjust Exposure Compensation? That's a bummer! Thanks for investigating. I hope one can still use one's right forefinger to rotate the Main Dial, thereby +/- EVs.
Nice! I would love to see how C-log holds up in different environments. I'm struggling to decide between the Sony A7III and the Eos R. The only reason is that I think s-log2 has better dinamic range than C-log
Great review! Do you know the difference in 4K file size from 5d4? Looking for another cam to add to my set up. Second cam for photos and b cam for vid.
RYN photography nice! I want this to be my b cam to my c200. And the 5d4 the c cam. Any lag on taking photos? Some guy mentioned on a forum he felt the responsiveness was slow for photos. Thx again!
@@PaulJakob I've been using it for a ton of photos in the last week, I don't notice any lag in photos. Maybe if you shoot sports or something fast and you're used to using a 1DX, but I don't and I'm not. So I can't tell the difference in shutter response, just the startup time.
Oh my, a concise & common sense review and I too live in the desert (LV)..!! NO fungus in our lenses.. LOL! I jumped back into photography two years ago (an old darkroom troll from the 60's) w/an 80D which is serving me well with a nice complement of APS-C and FF (mainly tele) lenses. Sept. '18, I dipped my FF toe in the water w/a minty 1DS MK II (the brick) for $400.. I have added a few good glass gen purpose FF lenses (this camera needs good glass). Since my FF appetite is wetted, I was about to make a gray market 5D4 purchase ($2200+- new), when the 'R' came out, but common sense reviews like yours have convinced me to buy the 'R'. The fact that I can use my Canon EF and EFS lenses in addition to my Tamron and Sigma lenses makes this purchase a no brainer.. For 'me', the flippy screen to which I have become accustomed w/the 80D, is a fair trade off for the 'R's single card slot and positive price point (scs also in the 80D).. Lastly, Canon cameras don't suffer from rush-to-market failures (although they do hold back things we all want in one camera), unlike Sony's endless money grabbing revisions and some Nikon lemons. Thanks again..
I'm so happy you found this useful! I agree that Canon may not have the best specs, but what is in the camera is going to work well. Enjoy your R! I'm still loving mine. 😀
Thank you for the video but I'm still in the fence... I went to a store to test both cameras... coming from a canon 80d I found very easy to handle the 5D mark IV cause is very similar in the controls. In the other hand I was a lost with the canon EOS R. I loved the mirrorless viewfinder as it showed real life image but with the new controls I felt almost like it was a different brand of camera. In terms of cost you can find on Ebay a bright new Canon 5D Mark IV Body for $2000 and the EOS R for $2200. So price is about the same and you can get a even better deals with lens used. I know the mirrorless is the future for Canon but I don't know if I'm ready to sacrifice my workflow to get a new camera that will make me look like a amateur in the beginning or get a 5D Mark IV and wait until the next best thing comes from canon in the next 2 years.
@@rynfilms I found myself revisiting your video again but this time to make a new decision. I bought the 5d Mark IV and love the camera! It was the right choice especially that I got a great deal for a new one for $2300 at that time with the lens. I sold my 80d and kept my 70d as second camera backup. But now that the Canon Eos R prices in the used market are dropping where you can find one in good condition for $1300, I'm thinking about buying one and sell my 70d and have both cameras 5D Mark IV and Canon Eos R. Or should I wait until the new cameras come out? What would you do? Take care!
Great video. I use my touch bar for adjusting the Kelvin ;) Since you have the ring adapter can be used for iso. And the multi fn button can adjust iso
In my experience, the R may be just slightly slower, may... The big difference I noticed is the ability to set your focus point anywhere on the R. To me, that is better than ever so slightly faster AF. Maybe for sports, the AF would be more important.
I want to buy my first Camera wich one of those two i should be getting first, i would be taking photos of weedings, landscape and portraits? What a are the most common lens used for this events?
That’s a hard question to answer. To start I would put money into lenses. If you’re starting from scratch and money is no problem I would invest in the RF lenses and the EOS R. If you’re on more of a budget, pick up some good, used EF lenses and maybe start off with a 5D MK3. Then you can upgrade to a camera in the future that fits your shooting style. A good starting lens would be a 24-70 f/2.8. Then add on a 16-35 and a 70-200. Those 3 will take care of almost any shoot you want to do.
First of all, Ryan, I would like to thank you for very nice review and comparison. 👍 You spoke about all the stuff that really matters without going too much into hardware specifications. You got yourself a thumbs up and a subscriber here! 😊 I am fairly new in the field of photography but I fell in love with it very fast, and I might say learning about it even faster. I bought Canon 77D as entry-level camera for at the time I wasn't sure what kind of photography I am going for. After some months I realized that, for now, I am mostly drawn into street photography, photography at night and mainly low light situation, also some portrait photography. I probably don't need to tell you how disappointed I was in crop sensor and impaired ability to shoot in low light conditions. Whenever I went with ISO higher than 800 things were not going well for 77D, hard to handheld with lower shutter speed, needed to use tripod, etc… Now to my questions if you have time to answer, please: 1. Is it a good move to go from crop frame to full frame sensor for better ISO capabilities and handling low light conditions? 2. I am leaning heavily towards EOS R but my main concern is that on several reviews I heard people call it “family camera”… My idea is to shoot and offer my work to stock so is EOS R good for fields I am interested in? That includes: street, low light, night, some portrait and maybe macro. I do not intend to use it for sports, wide landscape, weddings. 3. Everyone is also speaking highly about RF 24-105 mm but my main concern there is the f/4 and ability of that lens to work in fields of photography I just mentioned, specially low light. I do not have any L class lenses for 77D, so what lenses EF or RF, L or not L, would you recommend me if I go with EOS R? Lenses that will, preferably, not go heavy on budget. 😃 P.S. I have EF-S 18-135, EF S 55-250, EF-S 24 mm f/2.8. I will sell those three probably and only keep 4th one, that is EF 50 mm f/1.8. Thanks in advance and best regards!
Hello Ryn! Thank you for the review! It is very useful. I checked several reviews on the 5d mark iv vs Eos R. Everyone has details and thoughts that are useful, and yours are no different. So thank you! I am still not sure whether to buy Eos R or 5d. But I am closer to the call, thanks to our video. /Dennis
Great Info but you missed the problem of Greenish tint in the pictures and videos shot on Canon EOS R. One good example is this video of yours which also has this greenish tint if you watch it on a 4K monitor.
I'd definitely think about a 50 or 85mm RF for the portrait work if you're upgrading to an R. I know they are expensive lenses, but you'll get results that are just not possible on the 5D4 Good luck!
Nice comparison! thanks for that. I own the Eos R with the excellent kitlens , and i paid about what you would pay for the 5D mark 4 body. so far i am really happy with my choice... love my R
So why not call it Canon R instead of "eos R" since all most Canon has EOS in the title? We don't called eos 6D, eos 5D iv, so why eos R? Just a curious question for Canon.
I'll wait for the Mark5 next year, the R is their 1st attempt so work i progress, The 5Ds with dual card slots, Longer battery life and the price of the 2.8 RF lenses affords me time to wait for the mk5.
@@jacksontaylor2885 True, but thanks to so many cameras still working today and going down in price, I can afford to wait for years, and if there is no 5dmk5, I am still going to have 5dmk4s or even Nikon D850s around to keep taking pictures.
wonderful information. thank you, exactly what i needed. simple to understand and to the point. loved how you did this review compared to lots of others i watched. subscribing
I own a 5D II,a Nikon D7100 and a Canon 7D. The Sony Mirror less made me move to the Canon R for low light in Jazz clubs without flash. I'm quite satisfied with my results. I have taken 300+ photos in a shoot and get maybe 10 bad pic's. Must confess,I like Nikon's ergonomics better than canon but Canon wins in picture quality. Might be my "L' Lenses.
I'm struggling with one particular problem seen in all mirrorless cameras. Which is the focus in low light. Since mirrorless bodies can't focus with an IR focus assist. Anybody familiar with this, because I think I'm going to sell my body for a 5d iv, but I'm not sure whether this problem can be solved with some clever tricks.
Hi Mitchell, the only issue I’ve had focusing in low light with the R is after the sun was totally gone and there was absolutely no light around. Surprising, I know. Overall I have not noticed any issues focusing in low light, not like when the 5D series first came out. For what it’s worth, I hope this helps. 👍
I rented the EOS R. I have the 5DMKIII and the one thing I loved over the 5DMKIII was the ability of the EOS R to focus in low light. It is MUCH better than the 5D. In low light the EVF lights up to give the ability to focus in near darkness. Just this ability sold me to purchase the EOS R over upgrading the 5DMK IV
I received a Canon 5d iv camera last week, but a lot of people said I sell the camera and buy a better Canon R. Is it worth selling the 5d iv and taking the R, I hope you will answer me very confused?
Potatoes and rectangles.. Overall I like the R over the 5D4. Both are great cameras though. If you want to do photo time lapse, keep the 5D4 or get the R6.
Can you tell me the sharpness and details difference at ƒ11 using studio lights between Canon EOS R and 5D IV. if Possible use lens EF 70-200. Thanks in advance. I really want to know the difference before buying EOS R
That is a really specific question.. Do me a favor and shoot me an email. I'm actually shooting in studio with that lens next week. Perhaps I can do a quick test and email you the samples to see if you notice a difference.
I have 10Nos of Original Blackmagic LP- E6 (7.4V, 2000mAh) batteries that I brought for my BMPCC 4k Camera. Can I used them with my newly purchased Canon 90D and EOS R Mirroless Camera. Is them any harmful ? i.e 7.2V vs 7.4 V & also 2000mAh vs 1865mah.( because normal Canon LP-E6N batteries indicated 7.2V, 1865mAh.)
Very thorough and sound review, I believe that Canon EOS R, will pioneer the future of Mirrorless Camera, among all other competitors as well. Still looking forward to what Canon will upgrade in the EOS R, in the upcoming two years.
great video and i'm learning as i go but i just want a camera that is good in low light and can take great quality pictures in the day time and evening and at night and i can shoot video i ike the 5d mark 4
went with the EOS R, adapted my cheap nifty fifty on it, but the lens keep going in and out (lookin for focus) even when im not trying to focus :S any idea how to fix that maybe? :S
More light? 😆 Which 50 is it. My cheaper 50mm lenses do hunt for focus more often than my L series lenses. Have you tried different focus modes to see if one works better than another?
I think I'm going to go with the R, since its "Focus Guide" feature (borrowed from the Cinema cameras) looks like a great thing for using old manual lenses. Never really liked focus peaking on any camera I've tried.
It all depends on what you want / need in a camera. There are a few things that would make the 4 a better option. Mostly if you want to do timelapse or plan on shooting in wet environments a lot.
I narrowed it down to a Nikon d850 or a Sony A7R IV. I take mostly landscape, wildlife and some sorts. I only have room for one body and a few lenses. Any suggestions what to get?
@@rynfilms that is the one I am waiting for. I have the 5D4 and I am happy with it. An EOS has some nice stuff in it that I don't have but as the Sony...not enough for me to drop my baby 5D4.
If I own a EF camera now, the 5d3, should I wait to see if I buy an EOS R and purchase RF lenses or just use an adapter for all my EOS R lenses in the future?
I'm thinking long and hard about the EOS R... but I have also been considering just jumping into the 1DX mkiii when it drops in a year or so, since that will open up a lot more and I can hold back on any other upgrades for awhile... or at least until someone sends me their cameras for free LOL
Or.. you could get the R now and put it to work, make enough money for 2 1DX mk3'S! 😂 In all seriousness, I was waiting for the new 1DX for a while too, but I'm not sure I want to carry around a camera that big. I love the weight of the R, It feels so balanced. Plus I've never been a fan of the vertical handgrip.
Lol I’ll be sure to explain to my wife that it’s on your recommendation that I buy ANOTHER camera lmao.... I seriously have been considering buy it though, but I’m always nervous with the completely new lines like the R.... who knows though maybe!!
Drew Reid no I don’t “need” as I could do well with my current arsenal, however I’m also considering the next generation of cameras that I will have and a if I am going to skip the R or wait for my next one to be the 1dx and wait for the R lineup to mature a little
I haven't tested out the RA yet, so I can't tell you for sure. From what I understand, the RA is supposed to be better for astrophotography. I may test the R, RA, and the next version of the R when it comes out.
Hi! I don't know why you didn't specify that the Eos R capture 1/3 brighter images than 5D mk IV. If you rise the shadows on the 5d files you will have the same details as Eos R. If you search for other TH-cam comparisons with the same cameras, you will find that the colours are not the same. Eos R produces brighter and slight greenish skin colours than 5D mk IV. ( Exception is when you use flash) Sorry but I cannot accept from an professional photographer to don't see this . It is very clear from the first photo. I have owned the Eos R more than one year, RP for almost one year, and the jpeg colours from RP are nicer.
If you already have a MK4, I’d say stick with it. If you want to add a camera or are deciding between the two, go for the R! I know a lot of people are dead set on 2 card shooting. I’ve been using cameras with 2 slots for years and have never shot to more than one card at the same time. I do use high end cards and not the cheapest I can find. Card failure has never been an issue for me.
@@poldeleon4551 Not DNG. I do a lot of studio photography where I shoot directly to my laptop. They still come in as CR2 or CR3 files depending on the camera I use. LR just wont talk to the EOS R yet. Hopefully soon.
Fine comparison, allthough it feels just a bit premeditated. But I can follow You. The Mark IV is not that much better then Mark III, and definitely not worth the chance. But: -No talk about the batteries.... -am I alone on loosing power in no time on the MkIV - even when just in the bag on the way to a job. Three hours (no working) - and puff.... ? Greetings from Denmark !
Agreed, if you’re only using it as a photo camera, there is not a good reason to get the MKIV over the MKIII. If you’re shooting video, there are many reasons to upgrade. I haven’t seen any noticeable difference in battery life between the 3, 4, and the R. Are you using Canon batteries or off brand? Canon batteries for me always hold a charge better than the others.
The picture quality is almost identical. The video files from the 5Div are ridiculous 64gigs will give you about 12 mins. The R wins in near enough every way!
RYN photography that might be my true , but i think either its a downgrade 5d mark 4 sensor with a better cpu to compensate , looking forward to the firmware update and how that will change, also can’t wait for the high resolution eos R
I think I know what you're asking, and yes. In my opinion, the R is just as good as the 5D4 in AF point adjustability. Perhaps a little more advanced. 📷
Are people just voting on the EOS R because it’s newer? That’s a pretty myopic way or making a career or hobbyist decisions. You do know there are rumblings that a newer EOS R is slated for next summer.
Some questions, is EOS R a professional camera though? I have the 5d Mk3, I am thinking of getting the Mk4 as my upgrade, but I think the EOS R has some great technology. I believe Canon is going with mirrorless in the future, but I do like the ergonomics of the 5d. Which one should I get?
It’s a hard call to make. At this point I would hold off buying anything until the next camera comes out. I like both cameras, they each have there place in my bag. I do use the R much more than the 5d4, i like the ergonomics better on it. As for lenses, if you have the money to buy all RF, then do it! Every one I’ve tested out has been amazing. But make sure to get whatever works best for you.
@@rynfilms That great. I have heard that Canon is coming out with a professional version of the EOS R, with a high megapixel resolution, is that something I should look into when its out? Since its mirrorless, do you think it's a better idea to invest in mirrorless in 2019? Or should I wait for DSLR 5d5 to upgrade my current 5d3?
I don't see Canon putting out any more in the 5D line, just my opinion though. I think they are putting way to much tech into the new lenses not to be moving into a full mirrorless line.
@@rynfilms Don't put your money on that. In fact it will be a very bad sign for Canon y the don't come out with more DSLR. Mirrorless, like most tech products is a game of "Anything you can do, I can do better". EOSR and Z7/Z6 have given Sony the perfect tips as to what to improve. Dual Pixel? check(firmware 5), Flip screen? sort-of, better color? check. Better ergonomics and 10bit out. That is what they have left, not much at all
KevKevAllen I took the Canon R to Vietnam for 4 weeks of intense shooting; hot and muggy. Never had a problem. Great dynamic range. Took a lot of pictures at low light levels. The lens converter is seamless when used with L lenses.
Great video but what bugs me and it's unbearable is that MONO ding sound when adding points to one/both of the cameras. If that was STEREO sound it would be 100% better.
Thanks for this great comparison - nice photos too! I have just ordered an EOS R as a partner to my 5D4. Should be able to match these 2 cameras seamlessly.
Thanks! Matching these two cameras won't be a problem at all. It'll make a great pair! 👍
I use the 5Dm4 with a Tamron 24-70 2.8 and the EOS R with a Sigma 70-200 2.8. Hope it is going to be good. Mainly low light jazz photography.
I have this same pair w/ a 6D MK II for safety cam.
Hope you are still using the two till now @@rynfilms
I liked and subscribed not just based on content (which was very good and detailed). What I appreciated most was your apparent effort to respond to questions as much as you were able. Shows 5 star care for your viewers, which is rare. Keep creating, my man.
Thanks Nathaniel! I do my best. 👍
Reasons:
- Viewfinder shows exactly how the picture will look like.
I dig it! I switched to the R for mostly the same reasons. Although I feel like the R has a way better 4K recording. Especially if filming in CLOG.
Overall it’s great!
the only thing I really like in EOS R is that it has a mechanism to close the shutter when changing the lens.
It's something to like about it for sure!
U can use touchbar for wb if ur into videography or focusing modes if photographer
I've been using it to focus when doing studio work. Finally found a use for it just in time for Canon to ditch it on the R5. 🤣
At 3:00 when you say there is more detail in the shadows, maybe I see that although the parameters are the same, the eos r is a little more overexposed. but I also see a little more noise in the eos r?
I do mostly photography with people, and I am between the 5d mark iv and the eos r. I would like very much if you could make a comparison in terms of skin tones :)
Thank you
All of there comparison shots were at the same settings, so maybe the R is just a tad more sensitive? Hard to say. The RAW images appeared to be roughly the same exposure. I know it can be hard to judge on TH-cam, but looking at the files in photoshop I didn’t notice any extra noise in the R. I went back and forth quite a bit and didn’t notice much difference at all.
This was the best review for me. You answered all of my questions. Being able to shoot hip length is so cool for me. That makes it worth it alone.
Glad you found it so useful Trish! Happy to help.👍
Interesting your low light examples showed better for the R however Tony & Chelsea's video showed colour banding in low light on the R after bringing the shadows up. Something often have to do in low light events.
Sometimes if you can overexposed a tad then bring the shadows down in post, that’ll help with the banding.
All fair points. Although I feel like I’m getting better battery life in the R.
I get it. The 5D4 is a solid camera!
What abaut the auto focus (specially at moving objects?). That´s very important!
That's something a lot of people brought up and something I don't have to deal with often. One thing to note is that the R slows down in burst mode and servo AF.
The camera up to the eye being supported by the lest hand is the most stable way to hold the camera
That or a tripod!
Nice comparison.. However, I think giving the point for high speed shooting (8fps vs 7 in 5d iv) isn't fair. EOS R's continuous mode shooting is actually lower than 5Div
Interesting Tharindu. How do you figure that?
@@rynfilms it does 8fps only with one shot autofocus. If the focus mode is changed to servo, (which we'll probably be using for high speed shooting), it gets below 5fps
That makes sense. I never shoot in servo mode, so it would have never come up for me. Good call!! 👍
Glad you liked it! I finally found a use for the touch bar last week. 👍
@@rynfilms And from that point, your probably gonna use it more and more 📷 That is exactly what happend to me 😉 I wish you a merry Christmas! 🎅
@@rynfilms cool! Thanks for verifying through testing :)
Personally I went with the MKIV. Although the EOS R is an amazing camera, I just cant afford the RF Lenses atm. I'm fine with waiting for the Later editions of The Mirrorless series from canon a few years down the road.
Nothing wrong with that. The MK4 is a strong camera!
Go for R. EF lenses work well in R without any issues
RYN photography Does your opinion change with Canon dropping the price of the 5D4 by about $500 since you made this video?
Hmm.. that makes it a bit harder of a decision.
That sounds amazing! Have fun! 👍
Hi Ryan, Thank you for the comparison video! Very useful for me! God bless you!
You got it, Hope it helps!
(and that means "when I have found out to buy a new camera again AND explain it my girlfriend" ...I would be so lost without her)
So many choices!
Thanks Florian!
I absolutely love this crisp clear video. You said in the video you were shooting it using EOS R but in the description I see your gear used is 5D mark iii also between Canon 90D and EOS R which is better Thank.... Your videos are outstanding.... Also what's your lighting set up
oops, I should update that description!
I'd probably go with the R, but I'm much more familiar with it so I may be a little bias.
This choosing is my dilemma - however I would like to se some reviews with some older lenses..... as that's why someone would consider. New bodies with new lenses - of course the comparisons will be great. Lets use some F5.6 ones... My key concern is RF lenses are all
Are you talking about some older EF kit lenses?
I just switched from Canon 1dx mark ii, to the R. Frankly, it was a great choice.
Your arm will thank you! 💪
Thanks for stopping by Tyler! I hope this helps. I have a few other vids about the R on my channel if you need a bit more info about it.
Hello! How was you upgrade to EOS R from 80D?? I'm right now there hahaha thanks
@@EuropeAfricaTrip thanks for share.. thats my plan keep 80d as a secondary cam. Lets do the upgrade 🙌🏼
I hope one can still use one's right forefinger to rotate the Main Dial, thereby +/- EVs.
already have m4 and all l lens im happy
🤙
I’m trying to hope out of my t2i and Canon M3. I just recently purchased a 24-105mm L lens. Will the Canon R be a good jump.
Nice! I would love to see how C-log holds up in different environments. I'm struggling to decide between the Sony A7III and the Eos R. The only reason is that I think s-log2 has better dinamic range than C-log
I just dropped another vid that might help you out. th-cam.com/video/40wp2D5FEkk/w-d-xo.html 👍
Great review! Do you know the difference in 4K file size from 5d4? Looking for another cam to add to my set up. Second cam for photos and b cam for vid.
Thanks Paul! I have a review coming out next week comparing the two for video. As for now, I can tell you that they pair very well together! 👍
@@rynfilmsfor my photos I'm coming from 5d3 and 5d4 so it will probably be in line with those. Thanks again for the vid and the info.
Such a great comparison! Thanks for sharing this.
Of course! Happy to help. 👍
@@rynfilms It was kind of you to reply..!
Sounds like you already have your decision Diego. 👍
Zyo
@@rynfilms I found myself revisiting your video again but this time to make a new decision. I bought the 5d Mark IV and love the camera! It was the right choice especially that I got a great deal for a new one for $2300 at that time with the lens. I sold my 80d and kept my 70d as second camera backup. But now that the Canon Eos R prices in the used market are dropping where you can find one in good condition for $1300, I'm thinking about buying one and sell my 70d and have both cameras 5D Mark IV and Canon Eos R. Or should I wait until the new cameras come out? What would you do? Take care!
Nice comparison video! I’m sold on the EOS R for sure!
Awesome Spencer! I think it feels much better than the M50. Although more expensive for sure. 🤔
Great video.
I use my touch bar for adjusting the Kelvin ;)
Since you have the ring adapter can be used for iso. And the multi fn button can adjust iso
I have to say I still don't use the touchbar. 🤷♂️
@@rynfilms I can agree on that. Still dont use it. I dont find my self changing white balance too often.
Big omission in this comparison is the AF, how does AF compare?
I am fairly new in the field of photography but I fell in love with it very fast, and I might say learning about it even faster. Whenever I went with ISO higher than 800 things were not going well for 77D, hard to handheld with lower shutter speed, needed to use tripod, etc…
Now to my questions if you have time to answer, please:
P.S. I have EF-S 18-135, EF S 55-250, EF-S 24 mm f/2.8. I will sell those three probably and only keep 4th one, that is EF 50 mm f/1.8.
Thanks in advance and best regards!

@@rynfilms But we want to hear the answer too!! :(
Burst I would give to mk iv since it allows tracking
Someone else had mentioned that too. I very rarely use focus tracking, so I would have never figured that out. 👍
/Dennis
Happy I can help out in the decision! If you’re not in a rush you might wait a few more months and see what Canon is going to release later this year.
Great Info but you missed the problem of Greenish tint in the pictures and videos shot on Canon EOS R. One good example is this video of yours which also has this greenish tint if you watch it on a 4K monitor.
Could be my color grading too. 🤷♂️
I've been highly debating going from the 5D4 to an R! I'm using it mainly for portrait work. What y'all think??
I'd definitely think about a 50 or 85mm RF for the portrait work if you're upgrading to an R. I know they are expensive lenses, but you'll get results that are just not possible on the 5D4 Good luck!
Nice comparison! thanks for that.
I own the Eos R with the excellent kitlens , and i paid about what you would pay for the 5D mark 4 body.
so far i am really happy with my choice... love my R
Awesome Paul! What is the kit lens that comes with it?
That is the RF 24-105 f4 L IS USM
Awesome! Lot's of flexibility with that lens. I really wish it was a 2.8 though.
Paul same here. I’m loving my new Eos R.
EOS R is the most over critisized camera of the year, i love mine for video, works great
You got that right Joe! Oh my are there ever people who love to hate on this camera. While they hate, Let’s go create! 🎥👍
Right? I just upgraded from the 6dii and the 5d3 and I havent got a clue what people are complaining about. This camera is amazing!
So why not call it Canon R instead of "eos R" since all most Canon has EOS in the title? We don't called eos 6D, eos 5D iv, so why eos R? Just a curious question for Canon.
Huh.. never thought of it. Perhaps it's just what caught on.
Coz one syllable is little bit weird. EOS R is a nice name, almost every people called it.
Great video, lots of awesome info!
Happy to help! 👍
I'll wait for the Mark5 next year, the R is their 1st attempt so work i progress, The 5Ds with dual card slots, Longer battery life and the price of the 2.8 RF lenses affords me time to wait for the mk5.
Personally I'm looking forward to the next version of the R.👍
That's if we ever see the mk5
@@jacksontaylor2885 True, but thanks to so many cameras still working today and going down in price, I can afford to wait for years, and if there is no 5dmk5, I am still going to have 5dmk4s or even Nikon D850s around to keep taking pictures.
wonderful information. thank you, exactly what i needed. simple to understand and to the point.
loved how you did this review compared to lots of others i watched. subscribing
Thanks Victoria! I hope you enjoy my future reviews as much. 👍
If you have a chance, check out some of the RF lenses for the EOS R. So crisp!
Another plus for the EOS R is that you really don't have to calibrate your lenses to the body.
I can't say I've ever had to do that with any lens. I guess I've been lucky.
RYN films Thank you. I will sell 5div and buy R ..
I use my old batteries in my EOS R all the time with no issue. 👍
Nice review, I am going to stick with my Canon crop sensors with full frame lens's. I just like the finial image results I get.
Nothing wrong with that Charles! You're making some amazing art with what you're using. 👍
Very thorough and sound review, I believe that Canon EOS R, will pioneer the future of Mirrorless Camera, among all other competitors as well. Still looking forward to what Canon will upgrade in the EOS R, in the upcoming two years.
The next version of the R is sounding pretty good wit the limited specs that have been released. 👍
Thanks, i only have an R but i'm pretty happy with it compared to my previous Canon devices.
👍📷
great video and i'm learning as i go but i just want a camera that is good in low light and can take great quality pictures in the day time and evening and at night and i can shoot video i ike the 5d mark 4
If you want to do more lowlight stuff, You may want to look harder at the EOS R. 🤷♂️
went with the EOS R, adapted my cheap nifty fifty on it, but the lens keep going in and out (lookin for focus) even when im not trying to focus :S any idea how to fix that maybe? :S
More light? 😆
Which 50 is it. My cheaper 50mm lenses do hunt for focus more often than my L series lenses. Have you tried different focus modes to see if one works better than another?
I shld try different focus modes for sure!!
And it did that plain day! Otherwise the EOS R, loving it! Your vids helped man 😎
I just sold my M4 for an EOS R after your video. Excellent detail with excellent clear language. Subscribing now.
Right on! Thanks!
What is that red ringed tag hanging off of the camera strap hole?
It’s part of my Peak Design strap system.
That system is the BOM too, recommend!
@RYN Photography Are you in Seattle?
I'm not in Seattle. Guessing there is a big ferris wheel there? You're not the first one to ask.🎡
@@rynfilms Haha, Yeah, and the model I recognize as well. If she isn't from over here she definitely has a doppelganger.
I think I'm going to go with the R, since its "Focus Guide" feature (borrowed from the Cinema cameras) looks like a great thing for using old manual lenses. Never really liked focus peaking on any camera I've tried.
I accidentally turned that on while testing out this camera. I didn't know what it was. I'll have to play with it more. Thanks Timothy! 👍
I'd definitely be interested in hearing your experiences with it. Because I haven't actually used it, only that it's supposed to be pretty good.
I have a old 7D what better for this next upgrade a 5D IV or EOS R?
It all depends on what you want / need in a camera. There are a few things that would make the 4 a better option. Mostly if you want to do timelapse or plan on shooting in wet environments a lot.
On a side note, I’m selling my MK4 if that’s the way you want to go. 😉
I narrowed it down to a Nikon d850 or a Sony A7R IV. I take mostly landscape, wildlife and some sorts. I only have room for one body and a few lenses. Any suggestions what to get?
I want to buy the EOS R Mark II with IBIS. 😄
That would be nice, but it doesn't exist yet. I'm thinking the next high end camera from Canon is going to be an absolute beast. 🐲
@@rynfilms Yeah!!!!!
Perhaps you can use an adapter for now and upgrade lenses later. Just a thought.
I would love to have the R
I'm thinking long and hard about the EOS R... but I have also been considering just jumping into the 1DX mkiii when it drops in a year or so, since that will open up a lot more and I can hold back on any other upgrades for awhile... or at least until someone sends me their cameras for free LOL
Or.. you could get the R now and put it to work, make enough money for 2 1DX mk3'S! 😂
In all seriousness, I was waiting for the new 1DX for a while too, but I'm not sure I want to carry around a camera that big.
@@shaneperry5234 haha!
So far it's pretty solid.
Drew Reid no I don’t “need” as I could do well with my current arsenal, however I’m also considering the next generation of cameras that I will have and a if I am going to skip the R or wait for my next one to be the 1dx and wait for the R lineup to mature a little
Camera shop guy i spoke to told me the next EOS mirrorless will be a professional level body with higher specs to replace the 1D MkII
How does the EOS RA stack to the EOS R or the EOS 5D MKIV?
I haven't tested out the RA yet, so I can't tell you for sure. From what I understand, the RA is supposed to be better for astrophotography. I may test the R, RA, and the next version of the R when it comes out.
@@rynfilms when is it supposed to come out?
@@FortMiseryGaming I'm thinking they might officially announce it at NAB in April. and then it's usually a month or so until you can get one.
It seems better but not better enough to change from the 5d4 to the R it seems...
For video, it's way better. For photos, pretty similar unless you really want the flip screen.
RYN photography where is my joystick? For photo it’s great to have #focuspoints
( Exception is when you use flash)
Sorry but I cannot accept from an professional photographer to don't see this . It is very clear from the first photo.
I have owned the Eos R more than one year, RP for almost one year, and the jpeg colours from RP are nicer.
Hey, I have a few shades of green that I am color blind to. This is probably why I didn't see the difference. What can I say, I'm not perfect. 😩
Only one card slot on the r-I will keep the m4
Thanks for checking it out! The R isn't for everyone.
Why not have both?
Can i buy in 2020 eos r
Yes.
Hello guys! I use a Mark lv, do you think EOS R would be better for wedding photography than Mark lv considering only one card slot? Thanks!
Can CR3 be processed using the LR CC now?
They can be processed through Lightroom! LR doesn't yet support tethered shooting though.
You mean DNG? Thanks!
@@poldeleon4551 Not DNG. I do a lot of studio photography where I shoot directly to my laptop. They still come in as CR2 or CR3 files depending on the camera I use. LR just wont talk to the EOS R yet. Hopefully soon.
Lol was about to ask what this was shot on...and then you said it at the end. What lense are you using and how much color grading did you have to do?
I don't remember the lenses, but it was most likely the Canon 24-70 f/2.8.
Is your gps on ??
graham68ktm GPS is not on.
ykshootraw x Ever since, I brought the R, my mark 3 is just sitting in my bag, as a back up camera, it’s like the technology on the 5D 3, is ancient.
The picture quality is almost identical. The video files from the 5Div are ridiculous 64gigs will give you about 12 mins. The R wins in near enough every way!
The video on the R is what did it for me. 👍
@@rynfilms Agreed! I didn't find that out until I bought it for stills, though!
But the 5d mark 4 has slightly better dynamic range , i’ll wait and see for the higher pixel eos R
That may be true on paper, but in practice it appears that the R has more. Perhaps it's more noticeable in the highlights.
RYN photography that might be my true , but i think either its a downgrade 5d mark 4 sensor with a better cpu to compensate , looking forward to the firmware update and how that will change, also can’t wait for the high resolution eos R
Got the 5d4 and looking to switch, so thanks for the review. Is there an option to re-center the focus point on the R? or is it all drag and point?
I think I know what you're asking, and yes. In my opinion, the R is just as good as the 5D4 in AF point adjustability. Perhaps a little more advanced. 📷
@Shotbymaxx 90 Oh, cool! I didn't know that. Yes it does! Super helpful. Thanks!
Shotbymaxx 90 thanks! Super helpful!
dude. solid video. Hands down best comparison video/format on youtube!
Thanks! 🙏 Glad you like it.
Great video!
Thanks! I hope it helped.
I just got this camera yesterday. Sold my trusty 5D3.
The 4 or the R? It's always sad to sell an old camera.
Battery life, focus speed etc?
Battery life is comparable on both. Perhaps a bit better on the R. Focus speed is darn close.
Battery life on the Iv is much better, literally by a few hundred shots.
Are people just voting on the EOS R because it’s newer? That’s a pretty myopic way or making a career or hobbyist decisions. You do know there are rumblings that a newer EOS R is slated for next summer.
Thanks Terence! I’m not surprised they are working on the next R already. I’m sure it’ll be a beast!
Rain Tech Time If you shoot Vedio on a gimbal, and don’t have an external monitor, get the R, the flip out screen is a game changer
What does this mean for DSLRS? You see a 5D V DSLR?
That is what they have left, not much at all
Ryn: I live in the desert it gets hot here.
Me: Oh, you live in Palm Springs too?
I wish! At least it cools off more at night there. 🌵
KevKevAllen I took the Canon R to Vietnam for 4 weeks of intense shooting; hot and muggy. Never had a problem. Great dynamic range. Took a lot of pictures at low light levels. The lens converter is seamless when used with L lenses.
I am having trouble downloading the presets.
Sorry about that, not sure what to tell you. They seem to download just fine when I test the link. Where are you running into trouble?
@@rynfilms great video! can you share the link please.
Great video but what bugs me and it's unbearable is that MONO ding sound when adding points to one/both of the cameras. If that was STEREO sound it would be 100% better.
nice video man!
Thanks Teddy!
I did a test at the canon office and the adapter failed on me a couple of times..I'm sticking with my mark IV till the next generation of mirrorless
Looking forward to seeing what the next generation brings.😃
