Joe, thanks for the video and kind words about the product, and it is great to see your channel growing. Claire has been working over time to get ready for this. I'm super proud of her and she is excited to be launching more products soon.
Just received this product and I can attest to its utility. I have not owned an alignment stand for the R10. Glad this has utility indoors and outdoors. I had been placing the R10 directly on a concrete floor and it was clearly sloped. Looking forward to better shot reads in my favorite apps. Thanks to Joe for promoting this small business and Claire for this innovation.
Man -- thank you so much for posting about this stand. My setup is in the garage and I have to move my R10 in order to park my car, etc. This stand has made a MASSIVE difference for me, over the last few days -- I clearly didnt have consistent alignment, even though I thought I did. Never would've even looked for something like this if not for your video.
Thanks for this comment mate! I really appreciate it. Happy you are getting good results now like I always say the R10 is incredibly accurate as long as alignment is correct! It is the absolute key for the R10.
Oh wow yeah I wouldn't recommend doing that it's supposed to sit at the mat level. I haven't thought about raising it that much but I don't think it would be great for shot detection or accuracy.
That is a really nice looking stand, great design. I have a similar stand on my R10 except my laser uses coin batteries (booooo). I go through the same processes and it does a very good job on everything. I was working on my chip matrix based on one of your other videos and had it down to 4yrds. The R10 does need a some detectable club activity on the short chips to get the super small ones, but it impressive to see it get that. After the R10 setup, I usually do the allignment of my IR putting cam for the Alleexx putt sim by laying down an allignment stick in the camera view and alligning the camera puttline to it. It works well enough to be in the web tour (even if at the bottom haha).
The R10 and Alex putting app are a fantastic combo! Good enough for any tour on SGT. The only better budget set up for me is the MLM2PRO and the exputt! That is insanely accurate for everything.. again short chips not great but you can always putt from off the green.
@@JLagGOLF thanks, Joe I ordered one from her. On another matter I have my R10 interfaced with GSPro and the blue tooth git hub using a high-end gaming laptop with a BenQ LH600 ST. I am having major issues with recorded distance. My pitching wedge records fine 110 yds but lower lofted clubs way off 4 rescue 110 yds. Driver max 140. Even 7 iron 100 yds. I just used the Garmin app and Bluetooth to iPhone the same results. Any suggestions would be appreciated…
The position of the ball doesn't matter as you can put it up to a foot left and right if the laser line. What matters is that if you move it from the middle say left 2 inches for example then your impact position on your screen will move 2 inches as well. So you are always hitting parallel to the laser line if that makes sense. Cheers
I don’t understand this explanation. If you can place the ball a foot away from the laser line, why do you need a laser? I can line up my r10 to my target within a couple of inches by eye!
@@Dkrin28 Hey mate, so once you have it lined up if you imagine that laser line and then a lot of parallel lines either side of that. If you move it left or right, you have to hit parallel to your original laser line if you don't. If you move it left and then aim too far right? You are going to induce errors into your data. It's the exact same as having your unit not lined up correctly in the first place. So if you want to give you Garmin the best chance to give you good data and to be honest it is really good. Then it needs to be aligned correctly. You still then need to hit down that line. If you have the laser line turned off or on it doesn't really matter and then if you do move the ball left or right just hit parallel to that original laser line. This is quite easy to do in the sim because you just line up with the edge of your mat
@@JLagGOLF Because my SIM is outside, I have to set up and tear down each time I want to play. Would love to find a quick way to make sure that I'm aligned up correctly each time.
Yeah us Aussies get hosed again! Lol what I can say is the build quality is fantastic and for a few more dollars over my previous one that I bought in Australia I would pay it every time! With the one I bought here the laser isn't fixed so it can literally move in the holder so you never know if it's straight or not..
Joe really love your content but we all know the Garmin doesn't calculate club path accurately, for example I never hit draw, I don't think I've ever hit a draw with a driver and the r10 had me religiously doing it each session. And to hit a draw you need an in to out path , my path is deffo out to in massively
I've found the club data to be pretty good for me. But yes anything with woods and drivers like I've said it just can't read the gear effect of the club and ball flights will be opposite. So a heel shot with a driver will hook wildly instead of gearing and fading back. With the irons I think the R10 is pretty good 👍
Agree, R10 isn't perfect, but still good value for the money. I do observe the same gear effect blindness with metalwoods, but irons are good, my path is pretty accurate as is my tendency to overdraw. My biggest issue is basically with the spin numbers. I use mine exclusively on a driving range, and no matter how well I set it up (have my own DIY frame) and calibrate it each time, spin numbers are always all over the place with these driving range balls.

Thanks for the message David! Hopefully it's calmed down a bit now and Claire is getting on top of it 🤣
Cheers
That’s a great looking stand for r10 ,hats off to Claire for her excellent work in producing it on her 3d printer.
Very neat! Well designed

Thanks Joe...great info and presentation as always....ordering a Claires stand right now...thanks again...Great Job Joe and CLAIRE!! Rex
Thanks mate! I really appreciate the comment. It's a great stand you won't be disappointed! 👍
I ordered this laser alignment stand a week ago and it just arrived. It is extremely well-made and should last a long time.
Yeah it's extremely well made! Glad to hear you like it as much as me. It just needs to be in the JLG blue 🔵 colour and it's perfect 🤣
Thank you so much!! Going to pick one up!
Thanks for the comment! They are fantastic
Pretty cool. I am wondering why the Awesome Golf guys put their R10 on a big plastic box maybe 10-15cm above the turf? You have yours on the floor.

Would love to see how you align your EYE MINI.
Ok I'll add it to the list! That's an easy one 👍
