- Here I show you step by step on how I made the GraniCast , Short wheel base Outcast with a center diff! You'll see I started with a brand new 4S Outcast version 2.5 along with a new 3s granite chassis.
There's very little modifying that you have to do. Really all you need to modify is clearancing the new granite chassis a little bit so the center diff gear has room to spin. If you would like to use the stock center brace on the outcast, you just cut off about 5/8 of an inch off of the rear plastic end that gets secured into the shock Tower along with cutting off the same amount of the thread that goes into the center brace and attaches to that plastic end. Very simple and quick to do. Keep in mind you don't have to use that center brace if you don't want to. I feel it gives the entire truck a little bit more. Rigidity.

What was the benefit of this build?
It's so flippy! Easy 5x backflips. Front flips are not an issue. Standing backflips are easy peasy. It is now a super rowdy powerful short wheel base stunt truck. Best of all worlds.
